The Property

This trendy Rome studio apartment is located on Salita del Grillo (which is one of the most charming streets in Monti area). Although located on the ground floor, the apartment is naturally light thanks to a big window in the living room and a transparent glass ceiling in the kitchen.

The living room is smart decorated with bright colors: red sofa, pink and orange armchair, colorful kilim, black modern coffee table, contemporary paintings, desk with chairs and curtains.

Next to the living room is the dining area with round table with chairs, nice abat-jour and spacious wardrobes with mirror. The bathroom features a wide marble shower box. 

The master bedroom follows the same fifties style of the living room. It has a king size bed, up to date night tables with abat-jour, 24″ TV and DVD player. 

The last room is the well equipped kitchen with gas stove, dish washer, and fridge. There is also another round table with chairs and colorful armchairs. You will find all the necessary equipment for cooking your meals.

This apartment is addressed to a young couple or young people.

The Location

This apartment lies in Monti, which is a trendy and characteristic area of Rome. Here you will find some great bars for an aperitivo, as well as Italian and international restaurants. A lovely place in the evening is the Piazza della Madonna dei Monti, where locals gather to catch up over a beer. During the day you can also indulge in some great vintage shopping on and around the Via del Boschetto.

Just a few minutes’ walk from this area is the majestic Colosseum. In the vicinity you will also find the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. We would also recommend taking the Metro B from Monti’s Cavour to Circo Massimo. From here you can easily walk up the hill to the picturesque Giardino degli Aranci and the neighboring Santa Sabina church. On this hill you will also find the famous keyhole through which St Peter’s Duomo is perfectly framed.
