This brand new Rome apartment for rent is located on Via di Fontanella Borghese. You will find it in an eighteenth-century building which offers lovely “Affresco” in the entrance. Following 10 steps up from the main entrance, you will arrive at the apartment. This well-equipped apartment makes up in comfort what it may lack in size, ensuring that your stay is a relaxing one.

The master bedroom stands to the left side of the entrance. It has an arch shaped ceiling and features a king size bed, night tables, a mirror, and wall closets. The living room has both a kitchen corner and an elegant sitting area.

The fully-equipped kitchen provides a gas stove, a dish washer, a fridge and a freezer. It also has a Nespresso coffee maker, a toaster, and a kettle. As such, you will easily be able to cook some great meals or simply grab a quick bite to eat before heading out to explore Rome.

The living area has a very comfortable sofa which you can use as a single bed, a plexiglass coffee table and a 32″ flat screen TV, Sky TV, an air conditioning unit and a table with chairs. Here you will thus find the perfect space in which to relax and unwind in the comfort of your own home.

The bathroom exhibits a beautiful grotto shape and original bricks. It also features a stylish wide shower. It moreover has a washing machine and a dryer. White majolicas complete the lovely space.

During your stay, you will benefit from the cleaning service every other day.

The Location

This apartment’s location hits the perfect middle ground between being central and not being in an overly crowded area. Right between the luxurious Spanish Steps area and the Vatican, you are within easy walking distance of some of Rome’s most important attractions.

Nevertheless, the apartment itself remains separated from the large and lingering crowds that you find around the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Pantheon, for example.

All of the above are within easy walking distance, as is the Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese park, Piazza Navona, and Campo de’ Fiori. The latter two are very close to many great restaurants that serve up traditional Roman cuisine. In the evenings, this is area is great to be, with a lively and friendly atmosphere as people chat the hours away in its many bars.

During the day we also recommend you visit the park. This offers shaded seated areas as well as fun activities such as pedal-buggies and boats to explore its paths and small lake. This is thus a great way to take a break from sight seeing and exploring!

The apartment is also right next to a slightly lesser-known, but still incredibly interesting attraction. The Museo dell’Ara Pacis is just a stone’s throw away, next to the Mausoleo di Augusto. Here you can learn about and see the 9th Century BC Altar to Peace around which the museum is built.

«Mostly satisfactory »

Clean, excellent location, all the facilities. Rather unpractical apartment though, the bedroom at one end, a long corridor which is the kitchen and lounge and the bathroom at the other end. The staff seemed in a hurry, interested in closing the deal, didn't spend much time in explaining things.

«Small but handsome»

For the money, the actual apartment is small, poorly lit and badly ventilated - and apparently no coffee machine instructions - not a place for staying indoors or for a sofasleeper who'd mind sleeping in the kitchen en route to the bathroom with a fridge that sounds like a bronchitic pigeon.. BUT if you're paying for service and faciRead Morelities: the bed, bedding and sofa so luxuriously comfortable! The shower ( after a wait) simply brilliant! Excellent and well stocked kitchen facilities (no oven). The location superb! And as usual the Romeloft staff contact and backup reassuring and prompt (though I didn't realise I wasn't going to be checked out and waited in for an hour and a half of quality Rome time, duh).

«Good location, comfortable apartment at reasonable price.»

It's the 3rd time we are back to this apartment (2nd time under the present owner). This already explains how we like it. The location is perfect, close to everything but silent during the night. The apartment has almost everything we need (a traditional mocca coffee maker and an oven would have been nice). The apartment is generally clean altRead Morehough we have found quite some dust next to the bed. A stainless panel to protect the wall while we cook would be preferable. Honey had a busy schedule on the day we arrived, so we had to wait a while. This is understandable. However, when we called him the day before our arrival to advise him that we would arrive between 1.30-2 pm (instead of 2.30 pm as written via internet), instead of telling us "no problem, you just call me half an hour before", he should have said that he could not make it before 2 pm then we would have arranged our trip differently as we were arriving by car and not by plane. Anyway, we appreciate that he tried to arrive at the apartment as soon as possible. We would definitely come back to the apartment!
