You will find this property on Vicolo De Chiodaroli,  a quiet side street off Campo dei Fiori.

The apartment offers three levels. Plenty of light floods this property, which has hard-wood floors and modern designer furniture.

As you enter, you will see a living room, and dining area. There is also a gourmet kitchen and service balcony. On the same floor you can moreover access the master bedroom with king size bed, and full bathroom.

One floor up is a mezzanine level with a king size bed that can be separated into two twin beds.

On the top floor there is a small area with a twin bed, a treadmill, a bathroom with large shower and a glass doorway. This leads to a spectacular furnished terrace with outdoor kitchen and BBQ overlooking the roman rooftops.

The (indoor) kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, drip coffee maker, water boiler and toaster oven. There is also a large service closet with washer, dryer, iron and ironing-board.

The entertainment system includes a 52’’ plasma TV with cable (most programs available in English), stereo with 5ch surround speakers and CD player.  There is also a Bose stereo system in the master bedroom.

Air-conditioning, WI-FI and a multi-function wireless printer are also provided for your comfort.

Please note this apartment is a third-floor walk-up and is best suited for younger couples or families.

The Location

This neighborhood abounds in the best of all things Italian. Restaurants, coffee shops, gourmet stores, wine bars, gelaterias, pizzerias and great shopping awaits!

You can also reach most attractions within a few minutes – simply follow the lovely, cobblestoned streets. Campo de’ Fiori is a 3 minute walk, Trastevere 8 minutes, the Pantheon 10 minutes and Piazza Navona 8 minutes.

You can furthermore access all further-afield attractions with public transportation. Simply head to Largo di Torre Argentina which is a 4 minute walk (250 meters).

In particular, you may want to take a bus to the Vatican, the Colosseum or Piazza di Spagna. These are all about a 25 minutes walk away. The best way to explore Rome is on foot, however the buses can be a light relief in bad weather, or to avoid the crowds.

The Campo de’ Fiori area is a great place to stay in the evenings. Around here, Trastevere, and Piazza Navona, you will find many restaurants and bars. The atmosphere is electric and warm, with friends spilling onto the streets as they chat the hours away.

Moreover, in the mornings you can shop at the daily market in the Campo de’ Fiori, which sells fresh and local produce. This is an ideal place to buy ingredients for a delicious home-cooked meal.

Stunning Campo de Fiori penthouse
«Almost Like Being At Home»

RomeLoft was very responsive to our needs. Indeed, while the apartment was otherwise clean, the RomLoft representative that greeted us and walked us through the apartment saw that the refrigerator was not clean and on his own initiative immediately got the refrigerator cleaned. The apartment was quite homelike, with interesting pictures on the Read Morewalls and books. Indeed, I thought I would like to meet the owner since the owner must be as whimsical as the apartment. The pictures in the RomeLoft website and the written description of the apartment were generally reflective of the apartment. While the second bedroom was accurately described as being on the mezzanine, the bedroom was not enclosed and opened up onto the kitchen and dining area below. We had to be very quiet so as not to wake up our 14 year old grandson in the morning. Also note that there is a narrow, winding staircase leading to the beautiful terrace. We did not eat dinner on the terrace as we had hoped because the stair would have been difficult to negotiate carrying items for dinner. We very carefully carried out cocktails to the terrace, however. My wife and I are 70 and were able to walk up the steps from the entrance to the apartment house to the apartment. We are in good shape, but the warning on the website description of the apartment is well taken.

«Great location with convenient access»

The 74 steps to the apartment are a bit of a slog, but the location next to the Roscioli deli, wine shop and pasticceria is perfect. A major bus intersection is nearby to easily get to the sights. Pick-up from the train station, and delivery to the airport all worked perfectly. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, including phRead Moreone for local calls and printer.
