In the evenings, this area comes alive with Italians and locals alike. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and aperitivo bars at your disposal. Moreover, the surrounding area has many grocery shops and pharmacies should you need them.
Nearby you will find the Campo de’ Fiori and Navona areas. With their eponymous piazzas, these areas also offer a wide variety of eateries and bars, and other facilities.
From the Trastevere spacious apartment you will be within walking distance of many of Rome’s attractions. You can easily reach the Vatican City and the Pantheon. For any attractions that are further afield, you can use the Trastevere tram stop. Alternatively, many buses run along Trastevere’s river side and can take you all over the city.

«A unique, atmospheric apartment - perfect for our Roman holiday.»
We had a lovely four-night stay in this wonderful, spacious and atmospheric loft apartment in Trastevere. We were in awe of the historical feel of the apartment with its mezzanine, old stone columns, and wooden-beamed ceilings throughout. The apartment had all we needed and more. The modern kitchen is well-equipped and the contemporary bathrooms...Read More are supplied with an array of toiletries. The towels were wonderfully soft and felt new, and the linens throughout were perfect. Uniquely decorated with lots of little ornamental touches, atmospheric lamps and candles, the apartment offered a very unique experience and felt just right for the beautiful, historic city we were visiting. The terrace, although small, is pretty with lovely views over the rooftops. The location was ideal for sightseeing, with the Colosseum, Forum, Palatine Hill, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and so much more just across the Tiber. St Peter's, the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel are on the same side as Trastevere. Visiting the sights by day and returning to Trastevere to dine in one or other of its cheerful, buzzy restaurants in the evening worked well for us. The Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere is one of the oldest churches in Rome. It has fabulous mosaics and a wonderfully ornate ceiling, and was a delight to visit. Dealing with Romeloft was easy, with all questions answered promptly. Our return transfers were organised through Romeloft and cost €65 each way for a family of five (parents with three adult children). We found this service reliable and the drivers were courteous. All in all, our Rome break was an absolute joy!
The loft was exactly as advertised! Beautiful experience for our family with grown children. Close to great restaurants and the shopping was reasonably priced-so much to do in the area. There was easy access to transportation- be prepared to walk -lots! The stairs for the loft are steep-but it was expected and worth the beautiful loft! Lorenzo w...Read Moreas very helpful.
This is a fantastic, charming apartment in a perfect location in Trastevere. The flat is on the top floor, so you have views across the rooftops, and are not bothered by noise from the streets. It is very spacious - bigger than it looks in the pictures, and very comfortable, with good beds and linens. We were worried the main living room would be a...Read More bit dark, and it is a bit dark (lit mainly by a roof light) but unless you plan to be inside all day, don't let that put you off: it's soothing in the heat, and cosy in the cold (we visited in early April, and had a bit of both). And other rooms in the flat are bright, eg the kitchen, and both the main bedrooms (the grey one is nicer than it looks in the picture, though I am not sure I would have used that colour). We were also worried the apartment might be a bit musty. It is not at all musty - it is spotlessly clean, and modern at the same time as traditional, with stylish, well designed bath/shower rooms, a very well equipped kitchen, and flatscreen TVs in most rooms, along with the beautiful old tiled floors and beamed ceilings. It has been decorated with love and care, and has real character, but you do not feel you are living on top of the owner (there are books in the shelves, but all the drawers and cupboards are empty: no one lives here). The terrace is delightful, lots of flowers and a fine view, and we were glad to have it, even in April. Later in the year, i think you would find it essential. We would definitely stay here again. RomeLoft were very helpful, and gave excellent and honest advice.
«We enjoyed this beautiful, spacious, well equipped apartment.»
We were a family of seven adults sharing this lovely apartment. The apartment was beautifully decorated for Christmas, with a nice gift bag. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in, with a nice assortment of dishes, glasses, pot and pans. It was also nice to have both a washer and dryer, which we never see in Italy. All of the beds were comfortabl...Read Moree. We highly recommend this apartment. We would stay here again. The only reason I gave staff a 4 is because, the guy who showed us the apartment, did not do a through job, and we needed to have someone come back and help explain a couple of things to us. He was in a hurry to leave.
We just returned from our lovely stay at your apartment in Rome. Everything was perfect and we all enjoyed our stay there! Nice and spacious. Will recommend your apartment. The owner of two hotels in Rome asked about your apartment. Thanks to the owner for the beautifully decorated rooms. Also for the very nice gift bag. Much appreciated!
«Séjour agréable dans un appartement plein de charme »
L'emplacement de l'appartement est idéal dans le sympathique quartier du trastevere, un endroit animé et typique. Les commerçants et les restaurateurs près de l'appartement sont très aimables et chaleureux.
Really a nice experience. Excellent value for money
«Fantastic place to call home in Rome»
We stayed in the loft for a week and couldn't have been more impressed with the level of cleanliness and how spacious it was. The kitchen is extremely well stocked to make impressive meals if you want to eat in and we enjoyed the great sound system that can be hooked up to your phone using the wifi. The staff was very accommodating with checko...Read Moreut times and arrivals. This is our new home away from home in Rome.
«Amazing apartment, wonderful decoration, perfect location, beautiful!»
Amazing apartment. We were with a family with grown up children. One amazing bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with a built in music player and bath!), one big bedroom upstairs. one smaller but very cosy bedroom upstairs and one half open bedroom above the living room. There is another beautiful, a bit smaller bathroom downstairs. We were with 7 peopl...Read Moree, the apartment was large enough! Good kitchen with everything you need, enough plates, glasses etc. All beautiful quality. A nice table in the kitchen, a beautiful more formal table in the living room. A big tv in the living room. The roof terrace is larger than you would think. Amazing views. You can see the San Pietro from the terrace!! The transfer we booked via Romeloft and the check in all went very well. Honey took the time to show us around. The only downside was that there was a bit of miscommunication with the check out, we agreed someone would come and check us out and bring us to the luggage room but no one arrived, we lost about an hour trying to arrange things, waiting etc.
«Large, well-appointed apartment that feels that home»
Up 3 flights of steep stairs, you walk into this apartment and immediately want to be friends with whomever lives here. The home is furnished with comfortable pieces, and fascinating art. The architecture is beautiful (ancient Roman columns!), the dishes are lovely (these belong to someone who loves them, not just boring IKEA stock), and there ar...Read Moree curiosities collected over a lifetime in every room. The master bedroom is comfortable, and has lots of wardrobe storage. The A/C for this room is slightly misplaced, so it doesn't get as cold as other rooms. However, we were there during the unusual heat wave, and were comfortable the entire time. The master bathroom has a fantastic rainshower, as well as a large tub. The water pressure is great, and hot water does not run out. Plenty of linens were provided, as well as various bath salts, shampoos, bath crème, soap, etc. The kitchen is well appointed, and has a lovely little balcony. It is light and bright, and is conducive to cooking meals. There are lots of small appliances provided, as well as a dish washer, washer and dryer, and full size GE refrigerator/freezer. The dining room holds a large wooden table and chairs, as well as a lovely piano. The living area has an A/C unit as well, and it works well enough to cool the loft area (2 twins) as well. The second bathroom is off of this room, and it is functional and nice, with a regular showerhead. Upstairs, there is a small bedroom with a sloped ceiling, and a double bed. This room is extremely cozy and the A/C works very well. It is extremely private and great for a teenager. The other upstairs bedroom is very modern, and also has a great A/C unit. It is very large, and has great storage. Between these two rooms is a staircase that leads to the terrace. It is small, but has a table and 4 chairs, plus 2 lounge chairs. You can see St. Peter's Basilica, and the plants are lovely. It is a great private spot to drink coffee in the morning or wine at night. While this apartment is situated on a busy street, noise is minimal. None of the bedrooms or living areas have street-side windows. The building is secure, and the neighborhood is full of funky shops and tasty restaurants. The Ponte Sisto bridge is close by, and most of the sights are walking distance from the apartment. This apartment provides 3 private rooms to sleep 6, plus 2 more people in the loft. There is also a daybed off of the dining room, which is probably too hot in the summer, but would be nice 9 months of the year. You will not be disappointed with this rental!
«Spacious and Comfortable»
We traveled with 4 teenagers and it was great to have so much space. The kitchen was well equipped for anything and having air conditioning and wifi was awesome. Awesome neighborhood to stay in.
«Excellent service, appartement très agréable.»
La communication avec l'équipe de Romeloft est parfaite et très rapide. L'appartement est un exemple de goût et de raffinement. Mes associés et moi nous félicitons d'avoir choisi les services de votre entreprise. A titre personnel, je pense louer à nouveau cet appartement.
