This elegant and spacious apartment has high wooden ceilings and bright teak floors. You will find it on Vicolo dei Serpenti, one of the most charming streets of the Monti area. This location is very safe… your neighbor is the Italian president: Mr. Napolitano himself!
A large family or a group of friends will love this large apartment. You can access it on the first floor of a stylish building that doesn’t have a lift. The apartment is also air conditioned in two of the three rooms and has a central heating system.
The entrance takes you straight into the living area, where you’ll find a blue sofa, an armchair, a low coffee table, a TV, a Hi-Fi system, and a library.
The nearby open kitchen features a gas stove, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a toaster, a dish washer, and also all the necessary cooking equipment. The washing machine sits on the balcony.
The living room is furnished with a lot of taste: antique furniture together with contemporary art work. You will find a queen size bed along one of the walls, so you can use it by day as a sitting area, and by night as a comfortable bed.
A corridor leads you to the opposite side of the apartment where you’ll find two bedrooms; both have a queen size bed. These two bright rooms are also adjacent to a bathroom with bathtub.
Close to the apartment, besides the well known tourist hot spots like the Colosseum, the Foro Romano, the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, the Fontana di Trevi, there are also two exhibition halls that are worth a visit: Palazzo delle Esposizioni (contemporary art), and Scuderie del Quirinale (presidential palace, special art exhibitions).
We recommend this unit to a family or a group of friends looking for a comfortable, spacious and central apartment which also offers all the comforts and the privacy desired for a fantastic Roman stay.
You will find this Rome apartment in the most ancient area of the city: Monti. Over the years, this has become a trendy neighborhood with an alternative and international touch. Here you can moreover enjoy international restaurants, osterie, open cafés, clubs, etc.
The meeting point of the area is Piazza Madonna dei Monti, called “piazzetta” by the locals. Some Romans will moreover tell you that Monti is the less touristic version of Campo de Fiori.
We recommend a simple traditional dinner on Via del Boschetto, a sushi dinner on Via dei Serpenti and an Italian aperitif on Piazza Madonna dei Monti.
Monti lies just above the Colosseum, and as such offers easy access to the Roman Forum, the Palatine, and the Giardino degli Aranci. Furthermore, taking the metro to Termini, then the Metro A, you’ll arrive into the very center of town. Along this line you can stop at the Spanish Steps, the Piazza del Popolo, or the Vatican City.
Getting off at the Barberini stop will give you easy access to the Trevi Fountain, too. It is best to visit this at night, when crowds have thinned out and the fountain is illuminated by atmospheric lightings.

Lovely spacious apartment two comfortable bedrooms with spacious kitchen/dining area and a living room with large day bed and sofa bed too! Free wifi. We used the transfer s...Read Moreervice from the airport and were met by a lovely driver (honey Singh) who gave us maps and lots of top tips including great eateries (la focaccia on via del pace nr the fountain of the 4 rivers best pizza!) the apartment was clean and tidy and we were met on arrival by a representative who went thru the apartment with us checking everything and then the formalities completed with ease, we were also able to leave our things in the apartment on our final day until 230pm for no extra fee (i think he checked that it wasn't going to be occupied before he let us do that) great reasonable way to stay in central rome. Definitely recommend.

The apartment was ideally located for the purpose of our visit to Rome. The welcome bottle of wine and fruit basket was a great compliment to receive. All furnishings were comfortable and the apartment was well equipped. WiFi was an unexpected bonus. Thank you
The apartment is very nice, the living areas are spacious and the bedrooms nice. Everything worked well. The location is great. The bathroom could use some work, especially a new bathtub. We were greeted very competently and very warmly by Honey.
«Home from home in Rome»
We were 2 couples looking for a relaxing weekend in the heart of Rome. The Monti Colosseum apartment proved to be an excellent choice for our city break - close to the sights but away from the most touristy parts of the city, with excellent restaurants and shops on our doorstep. The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorate...Read Mored. Just a few practical details that need to be addressed - better lighting in the rooms, provide teatowels etc for washing & drying the dishes by hand, and don't forget to provide some matches/lighter for the gas cooker! The RomeLoft service was very good & we greatly appreciated the flexibility on checkout which allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment before we left for Ciampino.
«Beautiful apartment in great location»
Loved the apartment, very stylish, well equipped, in great location in central Rome, within walking distance to main sights, shops etc but in stylish, quiet un-touristy quarter.

This was our first visit to Rome and we were very very impressed. Our apartment was very good and in an excellent location (its not easy to find a quite spot in the very centre of the city). The only time we needed to get a metro was to see Ostia Antica - everything else (sites, shops, bars and restaurants ) was within walking distance. The arrang...Read Moreements to meet us at the airport, and to take us back were perfect and your 'rep' Mr Honey Singh was very very helpful, arriving with just 20 minutes notice when we couldn't work out how to get the hot water working. If we were to change one thing about the apartment, it would be some of the 'art' which we felt was slightly perplexing or disturbing.
