Spanish Steps attic apartment

This centrally located attic apartment is on Via del Gambero.

On the 3rd floor, with lift (there are a few steps before taking the lift), is this romantic attic apartment, with “Cotto” floor and high wooden ceilings. It features a white well equipped kitchen with gas stove, microwave, oven, toaster, fridge, and freezer.

A marble oval table with chairs is at the center of the kitchen. It will be useful both for a lovely dinner and also for preparing fantastic meals (working table).

In front of the table is a crack with glass shelves that allows you to see the living room.

The living area is cozy and comfortable: sofa, black stylish low table for magazines, brown leather pouffes, colored stripe pouffes, pink pillows, Vintage Brionvega stereo, 32″ flat TV, and CD player.

From here you can access the master bedroom, and the bathroom. The elegant bedroom has an antique king size bed, coming from Sicily, night tables, blue abat-jour.

The bathroom has a white bathtub, and a beautiful skylight that illuminates the room.

The apartment also provides air conditioning (only in the living room) and Internet wireless access.

The Location

This apartment is just a few minutes by walk from Spanish Steps. The great location allows you to enjoy the best Italian pret-à-porter, from Armani, to Fendi, Valentino and Missoni.

The area is also home to the famous Caffè Ciampini, on Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina. Another great place to enjoy an afternoon tea or breakfast is the traditional “Babington’s” located on the left side of the Spanish Steps.

These aside, the Spagna area has many more elegant restaurants and bars that provide the perfect space in which to relax after some retail therapy.

What is more, you will be very close to a metro station at the Piazza di Spagna. From here you can take the Metro A through to the Vatican. You can also take it to Termini, from which the Metro B can take you down to the Colosseum.

In addition to this, within walking distance of the apartment you will find the beautiful Trevi Fountain and Piazza del Popolo. Behind the Piazza del Popolo you will also find the serene Villa Borghese Park, where you can relax in shady greenery, or hire a pedal-buggy to go and explore.

Just a little further will take you to the Pantheon. Just beside this you will find a very lively Piazza Navona. The area around this large piazza is great in the evenings, when its little cobbled side streets fill with friends catching up over an aperitivo or a filling meal at one of its restaurants.
