This large Rome apartment lies conveniently right in front of the entrance to the Vatican museums. It boasts recent renovation, with a stylish and original taste.

An independent entrance on the street of Via Veniero, with its private gate, will give you total privacy and freedom, while being in a very safe area of Rome, the Vatican.

It features a comfortable living room, equipped with a flat LCD TV screen, a dining table, and two sofa beds. This is a great place to unwind after a long day of exploring Rome. Rest your aching feet and legs on the comfy sofa and switch off in front of the TV before resetting for the next day.

With three bedrooms, each their own bathroom, this Rome vacation home can easily accommodate a large group; it’s the ideal solution for a large family who wants to be close to the city’s attractions.

The kitchen provides with everything you might need to cook up all kinds of dinners.

You can even enjoy sitting in the spacious closed large balcony area by the kitchen. This can be extremely pleasant, especially during Rome’s balmy summer nights. Alternatively, this is the perfect space to welcome in the day by sipping your caffè as the city slowly comes to life.

The apartment’s original decor and furniture, bright colors and fresh Italian style, are sure to make your stay in Rome both comfortable, and special.

The Location

This apartment is within very easy walking distance of the Vatican City, St-Peter’s Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and Castel Sant’Angelo.

Moreover, being so close to the Ottaviano metro station, guests will have direct access to the rest of Rome’s historical center. The Piazza del Popolo, Spanish Steps, and the central station, Termini, all lie on this metro line. The latter also offers connections through to the Colosseum.

The apartment lies in the Prati district of Rome. This is a refined, almost suburban area of Rome’s city center. It has some great restaurants and bars, as well as supermarkets, pharmacies, and banks.

This is a great place to be based because of such easy access, proximity to the majestic Vatican, and its many facilities. Moreover, the streets are quieter than the middle of the historic center.

In this area we recommend La Zanzara for its unique cocktails and fusion cuisine. Alternatively, La Pratolina is a no-fuss but amazing quality pizzeria famous for its pinse pizza shape and base.

Perfect location in the centre of Rome, right next to the metro station enables to have lunch in the apartment during the day without much interruption in sightseeing. The biggest advantage are 3 separate bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Those who have small children will appreciate for sure that the washing machine is available on-site. «We stayed in an apartment located at Via Veniro, 50, near the Vatican. Overall,... »

We stayed in an apartment located at Via Veniro, 50, near the Vatican. Overall, we enjoyed our accomodations. Here are the pros and cons: PROS: 1. Location - apartment is located 1 block from the entrance to the Vatican Museum. A grocery store is literally right across the street (about 10 steps) from the apartment front door. There are seRead Moreveral restaurants and shops all within walking distance from the apartment and the subway station (Ottaviano station) is approx 3 blocks away. 2. Space - the apartment is spacious with 1 queen bed, 2 full beds and pull out sofa in the living room, perfect for a medium size group. The beds were comfortable. There are 3 bathrooms, all with showers (no bathtubs) 3. Amenities - apartment has wi-fi, which worked consistently during our stay. Kitchen is equipped with all the necessities, including cooktop, oven, refrigerator, freezer. There is a small washer located in the sunroom. No dryer, but there is a drying rack for wet clothes. Bed linens were included. CONS: 1. Power failure - the breaker flipped and power went out OFTEN, usually in the morning and evening, and it did this even with most of the lights out and nothing plugged in. Seems it may be an issue with the building and not necessarily the apartment itself, but should be addressed as it was a constant nuisance. When the power went out it took flipping the breaker to turn it back on and the wi-fi took a few minutes to start working again. On the last evening of our stay the air conditioning quit working altogether and we spent the last evening enduring summer heat. There are not many windows in the apartment for ventilation, so this was quite annoying. 2. Some amenities were poor quality or lacking - need more towels and better quality for all bathrooms, need more drinking glasses in the kitchen Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Rome Loft and this apartment, however, I would question the management on the power issue at booking.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Vatican large family apartment. Its location across the street from a grocery and near to restaurants was very convenient. We had room for our whole family (4 adults, 3 young children). It was very thoughtfully equipped with dishes, kitchen staples, dishwasher, clothes washer and drying rack, sufficient Read Morelinens, and ample living space. We used the airport to apartment transfer option, which was helpful. It was a great experience and we would happily use them again if we return to Rome.
