We spent 10 days in the Piazza Mattei Terrace apartment at the beginning of January 2012. Had a wonderful time, the weather was nice and could be enjoyed each morning, when we had outr breakfast on the terrace and normally stayed out there, reading for an hour or two before going for the long daily walks. Due to the central location, we actually only used public transport once! Also, we used the airport transport offered by Romeloft, and that worked perfectly well. The apartment was in fine shape, very clean, well equipped and serviced, and quiet. It really was a luxury for two people. And then, on top of the apartment, to have an excellent baker on the ground floor! Hope to come back!

This would be an exceptionally good apartment for two traveling couples because the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the huge apartment, each with their own separate bathrooms, so there is plenty of privacy. But the shared spaces are also huge, and there is a quite nice dining room with a frescoed ceiling for sit-down meals. The apartment is located in an excellent zone for restaurants, both homey and elegant, and is extremely quiet, protected from street noise and neighbor noise. There are beautiful shops to browse in the area, plus a supermarket pretty much right around the corner. You can walk to a major bus stop to get to and from Termini station or the Vatican or the ancient Forum, and there is also a little shuttle bus nearby that will take you to the Villa Borghese. Plenty of closet and drawer space, comfortable beds and good water pressure in the showers. A very personal ambience in the unusual and pleasing decor. Feels like staying in the longtime home of a Roman university professor.

it was a really great birthday present for myself – to stay in this amazing loft for a week in may 2011.
i just adore Trastevere area and it was an excellent choice!

The apartment was simple terrible. We have a very bad experience. The location was qood, but the whole apartment was very very very dirty. One bathroom was the worst part because the entire bathroom became wet if you took a shower. Furthermore there were no towels, no additional toilet papers, uncomfortable beds, dark room, etc. The whole apartment was very smelly.

I would like to say how much myself and my husband enjoyed our trip to Rome over the weekend. The apartment was very nice and clean and the keyholder, Mr Honey was very attentive and polite. We also had a very good experience on the journey from and to the airport with your driver Gianni.

We will definitely recommend Romeloft to our family and friends and will, no doubt, be back to visit you again very soon.

Just the perfect apartment for us! 75 meters distance of the Trevi Fontana, so well located to see all the hotspots and go back to the apartment to relax a bit with a cup of tea before going for further sightseeing. The apartment has a tasteful interior design and is exactly as shown on the photos. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a supermarket just around the corner, ideal for breakfast. The only disadvantage is that it can be noisy (noise of people at the street) at night, but the rest of my family did not have any problems with that.
We will surely recommend Romeloft to our friends and family.

We returned to Rome for a short stay before flying back home. This apartment is so cute! It was perfect for our short stay. The tiny elevator was so nice to have, and the decor of the apartment beautiful. The view from the terrace is very pretty, overlooking what seems to be a convent on one side, and the Palazzo Borghese on the other. Once again, picked this apartment for the terrace, hoping to enjoy evenings with wine and a peaceful end to the day. The terrace was better than the one we experienced at the Trevi Luxury Terrace apartment, but still had dead plants, no chairs and a very lonely rusted table. Didn’t fit at all with the loveliness of the inside of the apartment. We enjoyed walking everywhere from this apartment and found the best gelato just around the block which was a nice surprise! Sibilla arranged for transportation again for us, and that was a very nice amenity. Thank you for an enjoyable stay in Rome. We look forward to returning!
