The Location

This apartment sits just behind the Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, which is the very heart of the neighborhood. The district itself is one of the most beautiful and authentic in Rome.

Especially in the evenings, this area comes to life as friends chat the hours away in its bars. Moreover, the many restaurants here offer some of the best Roman food. For example, head to the famous Dar Poeta pizzeria for some typically Italian pizzas.

Just by crossing the river, you will find yourself in the middle of the historic center. Head to nearby Campo de’ Fiori for its morning markets selling fresh produce. This area will also provide you with facilities such as banks, supermarkets, pharmacies and post offices.

The 2 bedrooms are very comfortable, the main one with a large bathroom and a very adequate space to store clothes or whatever is necessary. The kitchen should stand out: it has everything you need and of high quality and, at the same time, it has a very special design and is very attractive. The main room is very spacious, comfortable, with decorative touches that reflect the good taste of the owners, Indian and German pieces, ideal for relaxing after a day of visits and walks. The location seemed perfect to us. Trastevere is a neighborhood that becomes very bustling at night. However, the apartment, although located a few steps from the area of restaurants, bars and shops, is on a very quiet cobblestone street. At the same time, it has access just a few meters from the main avenue of the neighborhood and is within walking distance of the most important monuments of Rome. It is important to highlight that this is a recently renovated apartment, for which they did not skimp on providing it with the most modern communities, installing perfect lighting, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. We definitely plan to return many times, for the Eternal City but also for this home away from home.
