«Fantastic location and accommodations! »

I booked through a website and little did I know it would lead me to another. The day of our arrival, I received an email requesting passport and date of birth information for all guests, which I refused to give out via email, not knowing where it was going to. At our arrival, a man said nothing to us just gave us one key and left. We didn't Read Moreknow what to expect. 10 minutes later another gentleman came in (his name was Honey) and we went through the house things very quickly, too quickly. He was very nice but it was all happening too fast. Then he received a call wanting to make sure we had paid the cash tax-I speak Italian therefore I understood what was talked about. Not very professional to ask about her in front of the guests, my point of view. For the rest, everything was well and we were happy. Thank you.

«Good apartment - could be perfect»

we stayed for 5 nights at apartment. Apartment is in a perfect location, quite and lovely street 3 min from piazza spagna. Apartment is spacious, with nice patio, kitchen is well equipped, good internet. Almost perfect , but bedsi in double room are terrible , many electricity power failues, up to five a day. We had two problems when we came Read Morebut service was very quick and responsive.plants in terrace are dead. Overall value is good but with minor investment could be the best property in Rome

«Perfect location on a quiet, cozy street.»

The location of this apartment is the best...walking distance to everything we wanted. Some advice though would be to have more utensils for cooking. Also, a booklet instructing the guests on how to work the washing machine, etc would be useful. We did lose power a few times but it was quickly corrected. I would definitely recommend this apartment Read Moreto others.

«Great location, clean but needs an overhaul and a squeeze for more than 4 adults + 2 children»

The rental experience was great including transfers. The apartment was clean and well located but needs updating and is not really suitable for more than 4 adults and 2 children as children would be sleeping in small bunkroom while any additional people would be sleeping in the thoroughfare of the lounge.

The location is top. For our large family an affordable solution for visiting Rome. Central heating cant be adjusted and is noisy. It makes the apartment was very hot. The beds were very firm.

«Terrific Location at Piazza di Spagna!»

The location cannot be beat! The terrazzo was fabulous! Manuela was very nice and I was grateful she fixed the heat that afternoon. The double bedroom was comfortable and the linens were nice. The apartment was clean. We should have better communicated our sleeping preferences, but it's hard to tell from photos how beds are set up. The indiRead Morevidual double bedroom was quite comfortable for me. As two independent adult travelers, it would have been super-helpful to have the other double bed set up in a more private space, rather than in the main living area. Even a single bed behind in the other room with the door where the bunk beds are would have worked better for privacy and quiet. My friend was going to sleep in there, but the beds weren't made up. The fridge has seen better days, and much of the cookware was old and marginally-functional. I would suggest buying a new set of inexpensive enamel cookware someplace like Maury's or Ikea (Americans are scared of aluminum and Teflon cookware - and everything else). Broken, marginally functional, or unwanted items are of as little use to the guests as they are to the owners in their own homes and only serve to clutter. There were about 5 espresso makers in the cupboards without handles. It's probably best to discard and replace worn out and non-functional items. Another thing that would give a nice impression is a decent set of matching coat hangers. Wire hangers are not good for clothes, especially nice ones people bring on vacation to Rome. Having worked in real estate, I know continuity, as well as functionality, gives an overall impression of quality. And it's all about impression. There was no dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels, paper napkins, pepper and we were not pleased having to buy things that we believed (again, a cultural perspective) should have been available in the flat for the guests. Charge a few euros more, have the stuff available, and guests will be grateful. We took the stuff we bought with us over to St. Peter's, but everything was there already! A detailed instruction book describing how operate the television, appliances, tricks with the door, whatever tricks to make the hot water come without having to wait 20 minutes would have been great - again, something like what's in the St. Peter's apt. I'm from California which is in record drought and on water restriction, and it's upsetting to waste water anywhere. The old, single-pane windows made it very noisy in the apartment early in the morning, and impossible to sleep past 6 am. You know about the front door issues (one incident was my fault, but handled well by Battista). But not being able to lock the door at night is a security issue I know you took seriously. We were there a couple nights so felt safe in the neighborhood, but it's still a big city. I appreciated your concern, but I didn't see until I got up. Another guest may have been more concerned. In spite of these minor complaints, we had a very nice time! It turned out okay when we weren't able to book additional nights, because we wound up in the St. Peter's flat which both of us loved and in which have been much more comfortable! Thank you and thank Manuela.

«Location possibly the best in Rome»

The best thing about the apartment is the location - the Via Margutta is a gorgeous street (one of the scenes from Roman Holiday) near the Spanish Steps (couple of minutes walk) in a lovely part of town. The apartment contained everything we needed and whilst the accommodation was "standard" level, for the price and the location we thougRead Moreht it was reasonable. In the street itself there are a few high-end galleries etc and you are right in the heart of Rome's designer shopping district, but there are also loads of historical and cultural offerings on your doorstep also, so its not just about shopping in that part of town. Also its near the Villa Borghese, so there is a lovely park for a wander or a jog, should you choose..The pickups and dropback to the airport worked well and removed the airport taxi hassles and were priced pretty much in accordance with the local taxis, so well worth taking.

«absolutely in tune with our needs»

This place was perfect for our two families. Central and brilliant for families that sometimes needed to cook our own food and crash after seeing beautiful Rome. We have used Rome Loft before and they are brilliant. Sam

«Lovely apartment in fantastic location»

This apartment on Via Margutta was in a fabulous location. While it was in the center of lots of great shopping and tourist sites, the apartment offered a quiet place to return after a long day. There was a little miscommunication between the car service that picked us up at the airport but, other than that, Lorenzo made our trip to Rome fantastic.Read More He was very responsive and set us up with a private tour guide for two days, including coordinating a car service to and from the airport. Natalia, our English speaking tour guide, was fantastic, and we credit the efficiency of our two full days in Rome to her! Thank you!

The apartment and Rome Loft service were both excellent and, combined with the wonderful city, made for a perfect stay. We prefer apartment stay to hotels for the space, ability to relax "at home" and because an apartment often gives a better insight into real city living than do the "international" hotels. This was certaRead Moreinly true of our RomeLoft stay - great location in the heart of Spanish Steps area but a quiet and pretty street. All apartment facilities were very good. Thank you Rome Loft.
