What is the Overnight Accommodation Tax?
In compliance with Law No. 122 of 2010, starting September 1st 2014, guests staying in an overnight accommodation in Rome must pay a 3,50 € fee for the first 10 nights of their stay. Only children under the age of 10 are exempt of this tax.
What is the earliest check-in time?
The earliest check-in time is 15:00 pm. Upon request, an earlier check-in may be possible. Please contact our front desk to see if an earlier check-in time can be allowed.
What is the latest check-in time?
24/7 check in is available. However, late check-in charges will apply: arrivals between 8:30 pm and 11:00 pm are charged an extra 25 €, and between 11:00 pm and 10:00 am (when possible) the extra charge is 50 €, between 1:00 am and 6:00 am is 100 € Late check-ins must be communicated to the front desk at least 1 day before arrival.
What is the latest check-out time?
The latest check-out time is 10:30 am. Exceptions may be made to this rule. Please contact the front desk to obtain the approval of this.
Where do I pick up the keys?
The keys are handed to the guests by the key holder directly at the apartment upon your arrival. This is why is it important to fill the “Guest Data Form” before your arrival.
Is there an extra charge for checking in on a Sunday or on a bank holiday?
Yes, there is an extra charge of 25€ for checking in on a Sunday or a bank holiday. This information is always written on the quote that is emailed to you when you send a booking request.
Are linens and towels included in the price of the stay?
Yes, linens and towels are included in the price that we quote.
Is the final cleaning charge included in the quoted price of the stay?
Yes, the quoted price does include the final cleaning charge.
Are utilities and Wi-Fi (where available) included in the quoted price?
Yes, the quoted price does include the cost of utilities and Wi-Fi usage.
My return flight is much later than the 10:30 am check-out time. Where can I store my luggage while I wait?
RomeLoft has its very own luggage deposit area. You can take advantage of this service if you wish to. The information can be found here.
Is there soap, shampoo and toilet paper in the apartment?
Aside from the towels and linens, only toilet paper is supplied in the apartment. Soap, shampoo, etc, are to be brought by the guests.
Are there basic cooking ingredients in the kitchen (sugar, salt, oil, vinegar, etc)?
No, all RomeLoft apartments are self-catering.
Does RomeLoft assist in finding tickets for various activities (museums, special events, theatre, etc)?
No, RomeLoft doesn’t take the responsibility of finding/purchasing tickets. Upon request, we can however, guide guests towards sites or suppliers of interest.
Does RomeLoft offer guided tours?

How often is the apartment cleaned during my stay?
If your stay is less than one week long, there is no cleaning service included in the price. Otherwise, a weekly cleaning (towels and linens changed) is included in the price of your stay. Should you require an extra towel/linen change throughout your stay, the extra charge would be 25 €. The cost of a full cleaning with towel/linen change is 50€.
I forgot something in the apartment. How can I get it back?
If you have forgotten personal belongings in the apartment, RomeLoft will gladly ship them back to you. The cost is that of the shipping (amount depends on what needs to be shipped) added to that of the service (25€).
I loved my stay and now I want to move to Italy, can you recommend a removals company?
