Should I stay in an apartment or in a hotel while in Rome?” Travelers often are undecided between booking an apartment or a hotel room. After experiencing our service, they understand that apartments can definitely provide a better quality/price ratio.

More space, more privacy, lower price are the main reasons why you should go for an apartment. And also better location: Romeloft’s apartments are located in the heart of the city center, where there are very few hotels. This is especially true in the area of Trastevere, the most typical district of the old Rome neighbourhoods.

Our service aims at delivering the best possible experience while in Rome. Enjoy it!

We have used the services of Rome Lofts for a number of years and once again the service was excellent. The driver, Honey, collected us from the airport and the transfer to the apartment was seamless. We waited outside for a few minutes until the keyholder arrived. He took us on a tour of the apartment and explained clearly how everything worked. This apartment was spotless, and in such an amazing location between Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The apartment was fully equipped for our 7 night stay. We had one issue when the heating went off but the key holder came and fixed it within a couple of hours. I would certainly book this again. If I was going to be picky then I would say there is a strong smell from the drains in the second bedroom/bathroom that perhaps an air freshener would be useful, but that would really be picky and it didn\'t spoil our holiday at all. Thanks again Rome Lofts!

A really large apartment with heaps of space for our party of 9. Comfy beds & sofas, lots of blankets & a well equipped kitchen. The piano was a wonderful bonus that we all enjoyed playing! The wifi didn\'t work well, which was a shame & we found that only one person could be on at a time. Also the hot water didn\'t get hot enough for us so it was a quick shower - perhaps this is due to council restrictions or perhaps it needs adjusting. We had a wonderful stay & overall, we were thrilled with the apartment. Highly recommend!

Great location, in one of the beautiful spots of Rome, quiet loft with a breathtaking view over the roof of the City. Staff is well organised, and helpful. Some negative points though: the bathroom is not at the expected standard for the price we paid, there is nothing to hang and store clothes properly, which for a stay of more than a week-end is a real problem.

We were very comfortable, three adults and five children, during our visit to Rome. Very well located in the Trastevere, we enjoyed the Osterias. It is about 20 minutes walk to some atracttions (Piazza Navona, Bocca de la Verita)

Location can\'t be better - walking distance to anything you want to see in Rome. COOP supermarket 3 minutes walking. Very good heating - great advantage in winter. Fantastic terrace for smokers :) Ground floor = no need to carry your luggage upstairs but also a chance that somebody from the street will try to look into your window (keep curtains closed if you want to solve this problem).

We had asked Romeloft to help us arrange the transfer from the airport to the apartment. The driver from honeycar service was very nice and he drove very well. The key holder was meeting us when we arrived, he was also a nice man. We loved the apartment from the first moment we saw it, The kitchen/living area was very nice, comfortable and very well equipped. The terrace was really fantastic - big and welcoming. We used it every day as we were real lucky with the sunny weather. As we stayed for two weeks, the bed linen and the towels were exchanged after one week -- also very nice. We can definitely strongly recommend Romeloft and this apartment as well as honey car service

The flat is very well located and in a nice neibourghood. It\'s nicely decorated and fits for 6 people. However, the bathtub in one of the bedroom was not working and it was cold sometimes because the heating system was not always working.

We are just back from staying in one of Romelofts apartments in Trastevere - it was great - great locations and lovely apartment - clean, warm comfortable. Maybe more importantly our experience with romeloft was really fantastic from start to finish - host went though everything with us and the customer service when contacted were really, really helpful. Will definitely use them again.

We had a great time and the apartment was truly easy to live in. It is well equipped, simple and pretty. Just one or two small issues. The bathroom had a strange smell. A duvet cover was not provided for the sofabed. I would also suggest that a cheese grater is supplied. Thank you. We would certainly consider booking Scaletta again. Tom

We had an excellent experience and I have very little feedback to provide. The only feedback I would provide is that in the bathroom of our place there was no curtain so we had to improvise as that was the best place to shower. Also sofa was a little damaged upon our arrival and we found that out after our initial host had left. Communication was fantastic before and during. It would be helpful to show people how to use the heater in cooler months. I needed a little assistance with that but a quick phone call did the trick. Also, booking transfers -- provide equally good information on the way out of Rome as the way in. And maybe share how far place is from Airport, Trains, etc. I think that is it. Again, thank you for everything!!

The apartment smelled, The sheets were clean but the smell was so bad, therefore I looked in the closet and dirty chets and pillows were pilled up! We took it all out in an outdoor room on the Teresse. It was a dooble bed and sheets for a dooble bed but inside the sheet, it was a single down!! The bedroom was were dirty, the shelves were dirty. Some of The doors to the wardrobe couldn´t open! The hot water didn´t work very well, good for us we could fix it ourselves, which we had to do every day!

The location is exceptionally good and the flat was very nice! Wonderful old building with very special apartment which was decorated with a good taste and we really felt like home when spending weekend there. As we had only breakfast at the flat, the kitchen was working well for us. Most of the time we spent in the dining room which was very nice. The staff was exceptionally friendly and flexible and a big thank for Marwan, who was our host when arriving to the apartment. Everything worked very smoothly and the driver from the airport and also back to the airport is something which we can definitely also recommend. You can book the driver via romeloft, which we did. I can really recommend RomeLoft and will for sure use them next time visiting Rome! Thank you and greetings to Marwan!

Mr. Kevin stayed at Campo de Fiori studio apartment Up to 2+2 people
The apartment has a nice location, but VERY loud. A bar right below had people shouting from dinner until 2-3 AM. And then at 6 AM began the loud noises of those setting up in the Campo de Fiori opening their storages and rolling their loud carts down the road. It was not quiet! The apartment itself was nice. Mostly clean, except the floor which seemed like they didn\'t bother to clean. The bath tub was a bit old and scratched up but it worked. The shower curtain fell a couple times - could be updated. The kitchen was nice and clean although we did not use it. Overall nice apartment but the noise, cleanliness, and couple issues we had generally make this seem a bit over priced.

The flat looks a bit neglected. The dish washing machine did not work. The small balcony is messy : empty beer bottle standing on the washing machine, rusted dustbin, mops... The main room is in fact a third bed room. The cleaning is very superficial (I found a black lady pant grey with dust lying under the table of one of the bedroom and the bulbs of the lamp sitting on this same table had not seen a duster for at least one year). When we arrived 3 or 4 bulbs were missing and the dining room was very dark. The young man changed them on the morrow but one of them was still not working. We are not very fussy but some people might have not been very happy with it ! Regards

Mrs. Ruby stayed at Trastevere Terrace Penthouse Up to 5 people
We traveled as a family of 5 adults and needed a large 3 bedroom apartment so this fit the bill for that. The master bedroom was comfortable but the other two were small and not as good. The kitchen was relatively well supplied but missing some key items which we could have used and had to make do with what we found. The master bathroom shower leaked all over the floor regularly and we had to use all our towels and others we found in the apartment to mop it up every day and that was really annoying. Booking and communication were totally satisfactory and we were met upon arrival to show us around which worked out well. The location was great and had the weather been nicer we would have loved to have use the terrace. Overall rating would be between a 3-4. But we would definitely use Rome Loft again.

Our apartment was perfect! It was beautifully decorated with lots of pretty art and wonderful furniture. We had eight rooms to ourselves and delighted in the spaciousness. We were able to bring in groceries and cook a dinner and have breakfast instead of going out into the rain. I had my eye on the cat stonework over the fireplace as I volunteer with cats in Los Angeles. I would buy it in a instant if the owners wanted to sell it!!! The views from all the windows were amazing. The location was great for walking to many places we wanted to see. We couldn\'t have been happier with our choice of the RomeLoft apartment. Only one thing to mention is that we weren\'t sure if we needed to take all of the trash/recyclables down to the main bins. When it was time to leave, suffice to say, we didn\'t want to leave!

I stayed here as a solo traveller. The location was ideal for me. The apartment is very clean and comfortable, especially for one person. For more than one, the kitchen would be a bit tight to work in. If cooking was a priority, be aware that the kitchen lacks a microwave and toaster.

The apartment was satisfactory...however, I want to make you aware of a few problems, so future guests will not have to deal with these. 1. The heat kept shutting off at night...and rooms became quite cold. 2. The downstairs bathroom sink drains very slow to empty...kept backing up. 3. The elevator would not operate for our departure...had to carry all baggage down 5 floors. I hope this helps! Lorenzo

We enjoyed our stay at the Farnese loft penthouse. The apartment is charming and you can\'t beat the location, right off the Campo Del Fiori. It is close to everything, and although most of our visit it was too wet to use the deck, we still had the fabulous views of Rome\'s rooftops. Overall, the accommodations were good - the sofas and table comfortable, comfortable bed, TV easy to work, and an excellent private wireless connection. Generally the appliances worked, although a couple of extension cords would have made it possible to run the toaster and hot water pot at the same time. While we expected the apartment to be a little worn, we had not expected that it would not meet our standards for cleanliness. I spent the first morning wiping down counter tops, drips on cabinets, etc. and put away two small rugs in the bedroom because they were so soiled. The handle to flush for the toilet was falling off the wall, but functional, although the toilet seat came loose on the last day. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives, but we would have expected a little more attention to detail for the price. Please note - in the description we saw, it did not mention that you had to climb a spiral staircase from the elevator to get to the room. This was not a big deal for us, but it should be noted.

This is an apartment with soul. With plenty of space and a fantastic terrace perfectly located in Trastevere! One should not expect luxury standard, the furniture is a little worn and it is not exactly newly refurbished. But if you\'re not so picky about it, this is an absolutely incredible place to stay. It was clean and bright and spacious. The apartment had everything we needed. Highly recommend it!

Mrs. Christine stayed at Trastevere Terrace Penthouse Up to 5 people
Located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes away from the bustling center of Trastevere, as well as the Vatican, the apartment was perfect for our desires. Very spacious, particularly for us, and most especially for family living, with a grand piano to enjoy, and an outside terrace to bask in the sun and/or entertain guests or simply enjoy with family and friends, this apartment is a must-try for anyone visiting Rome. Plenty of windows to enjoy Rome’s sunnier disposition, as well as the views of a changing sky filled with thunder and lightning showers and clouds. It’s unique Roman style feels comfortable and lived in. Nice kitchen to play chef; all facilities appeared to work well. Everyone who we contacted in RomeLoft, without exception, we’re courteous, prompt, and competent; that being said, their services are plenty. Also very near a decent breakfast and lunch spot (directly on the corner), and a fabulous Roman style restaurant (just around the corner),plus a little grocery store for those wishing to stay close to home for a night or two.

This is a charming and comfortable apartment in a friendly neighborhood 500 m from the centre of Rome.My only complaint would be it is difficult to take a shower without making a mess and the alternative, the bath was a tight squeeze for me. It must also be said that dealing with the people of Rome Loft was also a pleasure. I was met by a friendly driver at Fiumicino and the extremely helpful Snr Marvan at the apartment even though it was past 9.30 pm when I arrived there. Importantly, there is a very friendly cafe next door which serves a good breakfast in the morning and good wine by the glass afterwards.

I had problems with a man that told me his name is Maruan who latter told me his name is Marvin. The second day we went outside for a wolk, when we returned to the appartment two oft he llights were on, I called him and he said that was impossible, I didn\'t like the way he answered me. The next day we were without wi fi, I called him again three times becasuse I needed to work that night at the loft, he didn\'t do nothing until I wrote a mail to you, and then he fixed it the next day,and guess what he told me that it was my fault because I moved the wifi accesory. Of course that is not true. He was a kind of making fun to me. The appartment is excellent but the guy no. Thank you for our attention.

Overall we were pleased with Rome Loft and the location and view were great, however: 1) The en-suite toilet filled very slowly and so sometimes would not flush 2) The showers were not very powerful 3) The washing machine was full of water when we opened it, so we did not use it 4) The street noise meant we couldn\'t sleep with the windows open in the bedroom

This apartment is in the perfect location. It is a 10-30 minute walk to everything in the historic center and right out the door is one of the most beautiful churches in Rome (Chiesa Nuova) plus tons of restaurants. The apartment itself is atmospheric and quirky - mostly in a good way. It is packed with art, furniture, antiques, gadgets and probably a thousand books. Very cool space. The funkiness is typical of these old buildings. For example, you can\'t stand in front of the kitchen sink because it\'s in a corner and the stove is right against it so washing dishes requires a bit of contortion. The hot water in the two bathrooms (2 bathrooms, that\'s a plus) is very unstable. Scalding hot then ice cold and you can\'t get it to stay anywhere for more than a few seconds. Makes for a short and stressful shower. Also, be prepared, there are lots of stairs. From the elevator is a short flight to the door, then another short flight inside the door to an enormous light-filled sitting room. But the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are all up a story on some uneven stone stairs that have probably been there for 500 years. Once you get up there, you have a couple more stairs to the bedrooms (I hit my head a few times on the low overhang and I\'m only 5\' 9\"). To get to the kitchen there is a single stair of about 3 inches. I missed it more than once and one time actually fell over the chair below it. Luckily no damage. Then there is the outdoor terrace on two levels, more stairs but glorious views of Rome. So to summarize, its a great location with a lot of character but be ready for the usual old building quirks.

Mrs. Jo stayed at Pantheon luxury terrace attic Up to 4+2 people
This property really can’t be beaten for location, the minute you step out the main entrance there is a jaw dropping monument right in front of you! Minutes from the pantheon and Piazza Navona, a short walk to Trevi and the Spanish Steps and plenty of designer window shopping! Even the Coliseum was only about 30 minutes away on foot. The loft itself was gorgeous and only a few things stopped me giving it 5/5 on all fronts. Firstly we arrived at check in time with the key holder but the apartment was still being cleaned. Not a deal breaker as it meant we could leave our cases but weren’t comfortable leaving valuables (there isn’t a safe) so had to take these with us for lunch and come back and hour later to unpack. Silver lining however as we found a lovely place for a pasta lunch (€9 ish and €6 for a medium carafe of wine) called Pietro de Pantheon. We actually came back another day for lunch and the dinner on our last night. Second the pictures of the terrace on the website are, shall we say, generous. In reality it was very small and the wall mounted air conditioning unit made it feel even more so. The furniture was tired and dirty and the plant pots had definitely seen better days. I really think with a good clean and a bit of TLC this area could be much nicer (maybe planters hanging off the railings to allow a bit more floor space?). Consequently we didn’t spend an evening sitting out and drinking wine. Granted we didn’t come to Rome to do this every night but it would have been a lovely place for a night cap. Third, the mezzanine was very cramped and we all had to stoop to walk to the bed. The bed itself was very comfortable and due to literally being in the eaves was very cosy. You just seriously had to watch your head getting there which made me feel nervous about my daughter hurting herself. Hint: she was worried about the gap where the side of the bed met the railings so we used the oversized cushions off our bed as a barrier and this worked well. Finally the shower tray was very dusty and as the drain seemed to take the entire time of a shower to empty it meant we had lumps of dust floating around our ankles for the first few times we used it. A bit yuck. We had no hot water one evening and the following morning however a quick message to our key holder and it was sorted by the time time we returned that afternoon. Thank you! Other than those niggles we loved our Home in Rome. The key holder was helpful and prompt. Our car transfers to and from the airport excellent (we would definitely recommend this. And that beautiful Mercedes that collected us on arrival ?...!) and the customer service generally from the Rome Lofts team has been excellent. We considered AirBnB before hearing of this company but I’m so glad we reconsidered and if we return I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Oh and Aperitivo at Salotto 42 downstairs wasn’t cheap but worth it and they made our daughter feel very welcome. The concept of a buffet in a bar blew her mind!

This apartment is in our favorite neighborhood near the Campo de’ Fiori. Lorenzo and his team were excellent and immediately responsive to our requests. So helpful upon our arrival and throughout our two week stay. Very friendly and professional. The rooms are very large and comfortable, much larger than other apartments we have stayed in. The AC worked great, the kitchen, also huge by Rome standards, has everything you need to cook a meal, or just coffee. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Comfortable furniture. Just one floor up on a narrow medieval street one block from the Campo. Elevator is easy to use. Some normal street sounds, but they can be drowned out with the fan. Room darkening shutters. Spacious bathroom with tub and shower. The decor is cheerful and the bed is comfortable with great sheets. Ceilings are very tall, with wood beams and lots of character! This is an old apartment in a very old building, but is overall up to date and clean. The longer we stayed here, the more we liked this apartment. This apartment would be ideal for a long term stay.

I was only in Rome for a few days, and was busy each day exploring the city, however it was very nice to come home to such a welcoming and comfortable apartment. I felt I was staying at a friend’s place. I would have liked to have the opportunity to spend more time to relax - especially on the balcony. There are such a lot of stairs to carry luggage up and down - it is a shame there is not accessibility to the lift.

Thank you very much to all the staff, very competent and efficient. The flat was very nice, big enough for 2 people with our own bedroom and bathroom, clean with everything we needed; I just would like to say that the sofas were a bit too old, flat and not so confortable, may be you could change the cushions, but as we did not stay very often in the flat it was ok. Otherwise, everything was perfect and if I come back to Roma I will ask again RomeLoft for a flat and I will recomande this web site to my friends. Thanks again.

Mr. Robert D High stayed at Arancio terrace loft Up to 2 people
This is an extremely well designed romantic rooftop apartment for couples. The photos on the sight pretty accurate (FYI-all of the plants shown are high-quality artificials.) There is much positive to say about the place (but a few non-positives at the end) It’s located close to everything and yet remains a quiet aerie looking out on the rooftops and church steeples of Rome and down into the Pallazzo Borgehese, still a family residence but also housing one of the most selective men’s clubs in the world. It’s essentially a large studio apartment. It could have been a one bedroom, but the designer saw the value in making it a single large room. It’s decorated almost entire in white with 4 windows and a glass door admitting lots of light. The A/C and WiFi worked extremely well. There is lots of lighting including some recessed halogens; a fake fireplace (we didn’t bother trying it out); a huge (too big, really) flat screen (all of the channels seemed to be Italian); a CD player and an IPod speaker (but who uses the latter anymore and who drags CD’s on a vacation?) The kitchen is small, but adequate. There we plenty of plates, glasses and utensils. They have a microwave and burners, but no oven and no dishwasher. There was dish soap but no paper towels and no replacement garbage bags (Rome Loft is remiss in this regard). The bathroom is large considering the apartment size and there is a walk-in closet off to the left. The large window is unusual (and somewhat exhibitionist considering there is a convent directly opposite). There is a rain showerhead and a conventional one, but water pressure to too low for the former (the apartment is on the 7th floor). Also the bathroom ceiling slopes down gradually so, if you are 6’2” or taller, standing in the shower stall will require bending down a bit. The apartment has a large (12’ x 12’) terrace. It’s wonderful, but there is only a very small wood table and 2 wood dining chairs out there. No lounges or umbrellas. Unfortunate. There was one negative experience worth mentioning: hot water, or rather the lack of it. Based on the comments of guests coming prior to us, there had been problems with having hot water. When we arrived it was ice cold. We contacted our travel consultant at Rome Lofts and she indicated it would be addressed, but as we arrived on a Saturday, I was not optimistic. Sure enough the water was still cold on Sunday. More requests were delivered on Monday with reassuring responses, but no resolution to the problem. Finally, on Tuesday, they said the owner would have someone fix things on Wednesday (our last day). So we spent 4 of our five days taking cold showers. One can put a value on strife: we received a 20% discount (50€) per day for the four days we endured the cold. That fact that we didn’t just leave is testimony to how great the space is.

The apartment is overall amazing. The availability of two bathrooms is very useful and the kitchen has everyone one needs if the choice is to eat in the apartment. The view of the Vatican from the terrace is priceless. The check in process was somewhat cumbersome. We thought we had agreed on a specific meeting time and place, at the apartment, but the local representative arrived an hour late and we had to call to confirm because we did not see him at the agreed upon time and place. This person, very pleasant, does not speak Italian and even English was a bit of an obstacle. There were some bread crumbs in and a round the toaster oven. We asked for some additional pillows and they were able to find these for us. The location is wonderful, near perfect. Very close to the Vatican, walking distance to all of Rome\'s major attractions. There are some excellent restaurants within minutes by foot.

The appartment is a few stairs up, so you don\'t hear much of the street sounds, which was very nice. The lighting in the room is very nice, Italian sunshine in de bedroom in the mornings. You can make your coffee the Italian way and have breakfast on the balcony. There are two grocery stores within 2 minutes walking. The neighborhood is amazing, so much good restaurants and very nice bars. Like Jonathan\'s angel or cul de sac. I would book it again.

Everything was great about the apartment. The only negatives that I would have was that the man who greeted us was unfriendly. Usually when we check in at apartments we feel welcomed, but this was not the case. Check in was late. When we use Airbnb there is a lot of communication from the host confirming times etc. With romeloft, the onus was on us and even then he arrived over 30 minutes late and we waited outside in the heat. We have stayed in many apartments in Rome in the past and whilst we loved the apartment we found the location to be very dirty with loads of litter, especially on the steps nearby. We know it was not the fault of romeloft but it would stop me from recommending the apartment to others.

The service offered by Rome Loft was put to the test as we had issues with the hot water and especially the shower. We have used Rome Loft 4 times including the pick up service to and from the airport and we have always been very pleased with the service offered which is of a top standard. On the back of this we recommend you to anyone who is thinking of visiting Rome. As you will be aware we had issues with the electricity in the bathroom and with the hot water and the shower. These were dealt with on the day of our raising them and before we returned to the apartment after our day out in Rome. The test of service is when something adverse happened and we would like to say that Rome Loft passed with flying colours. With regards to the apartment then it was not cleaned to a high standard (for example the shower screen had soap marks and the mirror on the wall had finger prints on it which were not ours). We were very tired when we got there and did not notice these until later in the day. Not sufficient to have made a complaint but not up to the standard of cleaning when we have used this apartment before (we have been to the same one on three occasions). The shower also needs sorting as the water pressure is appalling. As we have said we have used the apartment before and whilst it has not been good (as expected on the 6th floor) this year it was unacceptable. There is no pressure and also it is difficult to get the temperature anything other than very hot or cold due to the lack of water pressure. Some of the work done whilst we were there pushed up the pressure in the bathroom tap (which was low when we arrived) but this did not result in an improvement in the shower. We would guess that this is just a matter of some blockages in the shower filters but unless we get some reassurances that this matter has been resolved we will be looking at different apartments (with Rome Loft) in the future. We would add that some of the door surrounds are cracked and could do with filling as it just makes the apartment look shabby. On the positive side the apartment is generally lovely and if the shower was sorted we would recommend it and use it again (provided the shower is sorted) as it is just the right size for two people, is in a fantastic location and the views from the balcony are tremendous including looking into the Spanish Embassy.

He showed us all around and was very informative and accommodating. we had some concern with the stairs and the children but found a divider to insert above the staircase and all was well. Very interesting place. Had everything we needed and more. We were recommended to Romeloft from a friend and now we will also recommend you to others.

This is just to say we loved our stay in 48 Via della Scala in Trastevere, owned by Signora Sgritta. We had the best trip ever, and loved the stylish flat, 100% wonderful and poetic and practical and clean and quiet and incredibly beautiful, with two terraces, and just very nice. An ideal place overall, perfect way to visit Rome, and live there for a while! A big thank you to our host, for his warm welcome and help throughout (Signore Claudio Sgritta)! Lots of excellent advice when needed. We felt we were truly “at home” there, which is not often the case in other rentals with other companies. We hope to be able to rent this flat next time we come to Rome.

It was our second stay in the apartment ( Farnese) and just as lovely comfortable and home from home feel. The only thing that was slightly annoying was the shower, which could do with some attention. Also needs a toaster as we love our toast and the grill took ages. Otherwise a perfect holiday retreat in Rome! Will come back next year as feel very at home in this particular apartment. Thank you Rome loft. Lovely stay yet again.

The apartment lives up to its promise. A cute little nest with a lovely balcony. You can even see the upper part of the dome of St. Peter\'s Basilica. We were warmly welcomed and cared for by Marvan (from Rome Loft). So, this was all perfect. Trastevere is a very hip district and the nightlife is long. That\'s why you can not sleep before 2 o\'clock at night, because many people are still out loud down the alley.

Excellent, cozy little apartment perfect for a couple. Great location as a home-base for a weeklong stay in Rome. Easy key collection from the staff on check-in, great set of dishware for cooking and dining in (complete with espresso pot, wine opener, high-quality pots/pans etc). Balcony was clutch for a bottle of wine and game of scopa at the day\'s end, as was the AC and free wifi.

Romeloft were always very quick and responsive when we had problems - all of which apart from the broken dishwasher, they solved efficiently. They were unfailingly helpful and friendly. We did feel that the owner of the flat needed to sort out the hot water supply, which was very intermittent, and the lift was old and rather alarming. When we first arrived in very hot weather the air conditioning was not working well, but after two visits that problem was cured. It was also useful to have a concierge on site who was very helpful.

Just a couple of things. - there was only 1 TV controller despite the instruction sheet saying there were 2 needed to operate the TV. We were unable to get it to work. This actually didn’t bother us as we didn’t need the TV - we were a little surprised that a gardener had access to the apartment without warning us. We diligently watered the plants as instructed. All in all a great stay and we would use the apartment again if visiting Rome.

This is a two bed not three. No one can sleep in the “third”room. It is well equipped. It is in a great area. Walkable to Vatican, Spanish steps, Colloseum, etc. Lots of restaurants- some average some great. People very friendly. Downside to flat - no outside patio furniture on a fabulous balcony is criminal. There is work going on in block but we were out everyday.A/C is good standard as is en suite bathroom to master bed room, the other is tired.

The home was perfect! Location could not be beat! We were a family of 4 (couple with 22 and 21 year olds) and the space was great. We all loved sitting out on the terrace, drinking wine and watching the sunset. The home is large and very spacious! Had any and everything we needed. We did find the 2 downstairs bedrooms to be quite warm even with the portable air conditioners. I think using LED bulbs, especially in the bathrooms, would help some. The upstairs bedroom was VERY cool and comfortable. All in all, we would definately stay here again and would recommend to anyone!

via Della Scala is an ideal location to stay in Trastevere. Our apartment was located on the second floor and although there was no lift, it was well worth the effort. The apartment is spacious enough for two people and is extremely quiet. The shower is a tight fit, but the lounge room, kitchen and bedroom were all spacious. Trastevere is similar to Surrey Hills, Newtown, Oxford Street or Paddington in Sydney. There are more bars and restaurants than you could ever manage to visit and the river Tiber and the city of Rome are well within walking distance. Campo de\' Fiori is a short stroll from Trastevere, while the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Via del Corso are also nearby. The unit was cleaned once a week and we booked a driver from the airport to the apartment for 55 euro. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment and Rome Loft.

We stayed in the Trevi Elegant apartment only 50 steps from the Trevi fountain. The location couldn\'t be beaten and the price was amazing for a one bedroom apartment. We paid less for this one bedroom/2 bathroom apartment than most hotels charge. Check in was easy with someone meeting us with the key and going through all the facilities. We had two bathrooms which was good too. The showers are quite small as is the main bathroom but it worked for us. The kitchen is small but we only had breakfast in the apartment and it was ok. The place is looking a little bit tired, could do with some tlc however we loved living as a local and having the room only an apartment can offer. We would definitely stay again and would recommend.

The location (Trastevere district) and a charming historical building the apartment is located make all the difference. We were there at five friends and enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is well maintained despite a significant age of the building; you must find historical ceilings exciting and the terrace especially welcoming for morning coffee and late-night lingering. Hosts are responsive and proactive, which is nice when you\'re away from home. Very good price/value proposition, especially during the high season.

The apartment was very comfortable, with two bedrooms each having its own private bath. The bedrooms are air conditioned, although the common living space is not. The location was great -- very close to Piazza Navona, walking distance to Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps, a cheap cab ride to the Vatican or Colosseum. On the street are several very good restaurants -- L\'orso 80, CiPASSO, Lagana meaning you don\'t have to go far to enjoy a fantastic meal. A very relaxing place from which to enjoy and explore Rome.

I had no idea what to expect when booking this apartment, as photos can often be deceiving. Happily, my experience with RomeLoft exceeded my expectations. We were met promptly by our friendly and courteous host who helped us up the six flights (!) of stairs with our many bags, and then showed us around the place. Charmingly decorated, with everything you need for your stay in Rome. Of course, the highlight is the two balconies - one was perfect for breakfast espresso, the other for watching the nightlife down below. What a great location - centrally located, charming, with so many amazing restaurants in the immediate vicinity it is hard to choose. While you are in the thick of things, it was still relatively quiet in the apartment (I am a light sleeper and relied on my fan app for white noise, but my husband, the heavy sleeper, was not disturbed at all). Air conditioner worked great. The bed could use a new mattress, but definitely not a deal breaker. Fabulous apartment, already missing it, will definitely return, and highly recommend RomeLoft!

The only negative feedback I have is the sofa bed is not very comfortable and the slats kept falling out. Obviously the electrics in such an old apartment are not the best and there were a number of lights/lamps not working when we were there. Other than that everything was very well catered for and we very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay. The location is excellent to see all the main sites of Rome and to be close to main roads. The apartment was simple but well equipped and had air con. The gentleman that met us was helpful, ensuring we knew what to do about the keys etc. He also very kindly met us a few days later to hand a cable that we had left behind. We found the bed to be not very comfortable, perhaps a new mattress is due. Also, the TV was not working. There is an informal liquor store below the apartment which became very noisy until 2am with people sitting under the apartment windows drinking and shouting all night. Despite that, we would recommend and use your services again. Thank you very much. Lesley Murphy.

We loved staying in the apartment - 4 adults, using the three beds. Th apartment was lovely and spacious and we never felt as though we were on top of each other. Despite the heat wave in Rome at the time we found that the air conditioning worked well to cool the place down. Although you are right in amongst it at Corso De Fiori, the apartment was quiet enough for us to sleep well. The staff were friendly and accommodating and allowed us to drop our bags early. There are a lot of great eating places very close nearby and the famous bakery on the corner where we got many delicious breakfast treats. Although the service areas and bathrooms were a little tired, we found the apartment value for money, everything worked and everything was clean. Thanks so much Rome Loft. We will recommend too our friends and family.

The apartment was great with our only complaint being the showers not draining quick enough so they flooded the bathroom floor. It would be good to have a washing line on the rooftop however the clothes airer worked fine. The shop and cafe close by were great as was the proximity of the apartment to the major sites. We loved the area with all the different dining options. Would recommend that all visitors take the time to explore the local area as there are many hidden gems with great places to eat and drink.

First of the communication with the Romeloft agent was great. He left a message while we were in flight to say there were problems with public transport. We were able to speak to him and tell him when we would arrive at the apartment. The apartment was as described - light, spacious, well equipped and with an amazing view of the dome of St. Peter\'s. The area around the apartment was busy during the day but did quieten during the evening and on Saturday morning. The local supermarket was well stocked. The local restaurants were very good and reasonably priced. It was very hot when we stayed in Rome and so being near a Metro station would have made getting around a little cooler. It was lovely to come back to the air conditioned apartment.

The highlights of this apartment included the most helpful and delightful Marwin (apologies for misspelling of his name) and all that he did to assist us in settling into Rome life, arranging transport back to airport, availability via cell phone, and prompt response. The beds were comfortable, air-conditioning just right, photographs accurate. We would have liked higher / fixed shower heads for the men in our group who are tall(!) and larger trash/recycling bins with instructions. Not a big deal though. I\'d consider using Rome Lofts again... Thank you for a lovely stay!

The terrazza view from this property is spectacular! and may be one of the best we have seen in over 20 years of visiting Rome. The visual interest is non-stop and we could have sat on the terrazza all day just taking in the views. Imagine you are next to Palazzo Spada and overlook all the rooftops of Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Farnese and Via Guilia for 270 degrees. You look down on Piazza Quercia and can watch all the comings and going of daily life in this area. Sunrise is grand and right in your face. The evening brings florid color changes that are worth of a Stendahl moment. How much luckier could you be. The inside is comfortable and accurately described as bohemian. Chilling there in the evening with a book, friends and loved ones is special. Kitchen offerings are for the flexible, but we wanted for nothing. Bathroom facilities are the only drawback and required flexibility on occupants part. If the main floor bedroom had more current offerings this place would be off the charts. This terrazza is so nice we even discussed for future trips renting another spot for better bathroom/bedroom accommodations AND renting this place for the terrazza alone. Lastly, were greeted with a real treat of timing our check in at the precise moment of the Independence Day fighter jet fly over with the Italian tricolor trailers. Unforgetable. Ciao.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment has a warm and charming feel and there are lots of personal touches which make it feel welcoming and comfortable. It is a great location from which to walk to everything that we wanted to see and there are some excellent restaurants nearby. The outlook is quintessentially Rome and we enjoyed the little terrace. There is some noise from the nearby restaurants at night as you would expect in the middle of the city, but with the windows closed it\'s ok and it is very quiet during the day. The bathroom and kitchen need some attention and a thorough scrub. This could easily be rectified and if so we would choose this apartment next time we return to Rome.

We have used several Italian agencies before but Rome Loft is by far the best; accessible and responsive. We loved our check-in experience and appreciated the help and information provided. We found the staff at Rome Loft very helpful and understanding. Our apartment was quite lovely and we adored every moment we spent there. It is comfortable, stylish, well-appointed and the views are fantastic. And it is quiet - a real bonus in the centre of Rome. The location, in the old Roman Ghetto, is very atmospheric and gives guests easy access to the best of Rome: history, glorious walks, great shops and restaurants. Having the charming and helpful owner nearby was hugely reassuring for a couple in their seventies. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough and we were quite reluctant to leave!

We loved the loft, it met all the expectations and was exactly as described. It was well equipped for simple meals and breakfasts. There are about 8 flights of stairs to climb to get to the apartment, renters should be aware of that. Also, the terrace is excellent, but the greenery could use a good trim. All in all, it was an excellent apartment for our trip to Rome.

The floors were NOT clean, although we were assured that the discoloration was not dirt. The one chair with arms (which was moved around to appear in two different rooms for photography) was not enough. there should be at least one or two additional. And you need another table in the living room. There is no place to put things except the small round table, which is also supposed to serve as a dining table. Other than that, and the skimpy kitchen furnishings, we really did love the apartment, and would return if the above changes were made.

Great location for St Peters and the Vatican and many lovely restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Shower downstairs was not great. Cooking facilities were good. They left olive oil, washing up liquid, bin bags and so on which was very useful. We really enjoyed sitting out on the two terraces in sunny weather and looking out over the city of Rome.

Initially didn’t have any hot water when we checked in, however that was resolved in approx 3 hours. 3. Our friends Could not access Wifi at all during their visit. 4. Lacked space for people to lay luggage and other personal items. Too many nicknacks. 5. Could not get upper patio lights to light... majority of bulbs were burnt out... we were definitely excited about using this upper terrace in the evenings, but could not safely... 6. Lacked coffee maker, no paper towels 7. Outside seating was in poor shape... a couple of the chairs upstairs almost collapsed when sat on. Gardens definitely needed attention and maintenance. Otherwise, the view was tremendous and the place was charming. Great central location.

The location is incredible for nightlife in Rome as well as great food. If you\'re looking for a quiet place to stay, look elsewhere. We loved the energy! Alley settles down around 2-3 am. The apartment is beautiful but has lots of steps (even in the bathroom). There are 2 private bedrooms, 1 has a twin bed and the other a queen. The other bedroom you walk through in the loft to the bathroom and the other bedroom.

Thank you Gea for sharing your home. We indeed felt very much at home and especially enjoyed the wonderful sunlight streaming in the living room in the afternoons and the view over Piazza Farnese. The apartment is tastefully decorated, well euipped and very comfortable. It was a delight to come home to after a long day of walking through the historic streets of Rome. The location is perfect, close to wonderful local shops and of course, the market at Campo di Fiori. You can still find good local vendors for fruits, vegetables and cheeses. Of course renters should be aware that the apartment is up 3 flights of stairs (55 steps and no elevator) and that it is noisy, sometimes at night from the late revellers from the bars of Campo di Fiori but also in the early morning when the vendors and workers set up. Barring a future investment in noise cancelling double-paned windows, a good pair of ear plugs solves that. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment.

The noise begins about 6:30 due to the people obtaining supplies to set up their stall in the market. The carts tumble back and forth. From 17:00 the beer shop clients start drinking in the street below. Their shouting goes on for hours. On Friday and Saturday it continues past midnight. Your ad says QUIET place. This is not true. I have stayed in two other places at Campo de\'Fiori and enjoyed them. I will never stay in this apartment again and will not rent from Rome Loft if you lie about your places.

We were a family (adult couple with 2 older parents) and found this apartment to be spacious enough so that we were not in each other\'s hair during our stay. The terraces were also a big reason for us to select this apartment, and the views are great. We liked being able to have a drink out there at sunset. Some accessibility notes: The apartment is at the top floor and is accessible by lift followed by a single flight of stairs. There are some tall stairs within the apartment that were not an issue for us but that some people might have difficulty navigating. There is also a small, single step up to the upstairs bathroom that can be difficult to spot in the middle of the night. One bed is against a wall, so if you are 4 adults, one person will need to get out of bed from the foot of the bed or climb over the other person. As noted, this apartment is very spacious, but the accommodations are best suited to a maximum of 4 adults. The spaciousness comes from the lower level. If you are part of a larger family/group and are booking more than one home at the same time, this would be a good place to gather for drinks and discussion. There is a supermarket only about 100m from the apartment, and it had everything we needed during our stay, although we did eat out nearly every evening. Plenty of restaurants around to enjoy (check restaurant reviews before going to dinner). We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back here again sometime!

The apartment was clean, spacious, and brilliantly located. The tiles throughout the apartment are really in need of an update, being badly cracked and damaged in places. The other negative was the garbage containers placed inside the building at the bottom of the stairs that we had to pass every time we came in and out of the apartment. BAD. And the garbage in the street outside so that looking out of the window was not a pleasant experience. Apart from that everything was very good. I would use Romeloft again.

all the positive things are mentioned above. 2 important notes: - please leave a detailed plan of garbage bins in the area + their timetable. We left on Sunday and we had a very unpleasant time looking for garbage bins in the area, as all of them were picked up on Saturday. We couldn\'t have known that ((( it was very annoying. - an employee has been writing texts about the driver in the airport etc (on how to meet him there). All information was relevant but I would really prefer a more official tone from him. It was not unappopriate or impolite, but it should be rather more formal as Romeloft email style. Thank you

Ten górny ma otwart? kuchnie, w pe?ni wyposa?on?, graniczy z dwoma sypialniami i dwoma ?azienkami. Zastali?my apartament z zamkni?tym gazem i odci?t? wod? w kuchni, musieli?my sami szuka? zaworów.

If you\'re choosing where to stay in Rome, whether you\'re a couple, or a family, this is the place to be. We were welcomed and shown around by a lovely gentleman who was extremely helpful as we arrived quite early. The apartment is a dream. It being the penthouse apartment, it’s a climb to the top but SO WORTH the steps. And just think of the health benefits! The entrance is clean and spacious, as is the living room. The décor within the whole apartment is so stylish. The attention to detail in each room has been carefully thought out and is a credit to the owner. A great utility kitchen with everything you need, as well as a Nespresso machine for a good cup of coffee in the morning. We had the bedroom at the top of the apartment next to the rooftop terrace and it was a dream. This room also comes with an en-suite bathroom so you don’t have to go up and down the stairs to use the loo! There are 3 bathrooms in total so if there are 3 couples, you all get your own bathroom. This is a real treat! There are so many wonderful spaces in this apartment, it’s difficult to pick my favourite, but I guess it would have to be the rooftop terrace, which is just gorgeous and perfect for all times of day or night. It’s peaceful and the views over one side are far and wide. I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment as the place to stay in Rome. It’s 10 minutes from the Vatican and 10 minutes from the AMAZING Trastevere. We walked everywhere and nowhere seemed too far away. I would recommend booking a taxi to the airport in advance as there aren’t a lot of taxis that come down to the road level the apartment is on, which is another of it’s charms. Worth every penny and I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to beautiful Rome. Thank you so so so so much. Emma and Jon.

This was my first visit to Rome and it didn\'t disappoint(except for the weather!). I had booked a taxi from the airport which was waiting for me and took me straight to the apartment where I was met by Marvan with the keys. He went through everything with me and was really helpful and polite. As I was on my own it was reassuring he was there if I had any problems. The apartment was fine for me but for a family who may have wanted to eat in the kitchen facilities(cooker) was slightly sparse but this didn\'t affect me. The only problem I had was the Sky TV which wasn\'t working and so there were only basic channels and I was unable to adjust the volume!! The location was perfect, within walking distance of all major sites although I seemed to take a different route through alleyways every time I went out/returned!! The price was expensive for a solo traveller but this would have been acceptable if I could have made more use of the terrace with its amazing views. Unfortunately I had 2 days of rain so this limited the use of the terrace and meant the flamingo got rather blown about! I was intrigued by some of the art work on display and would love to know more about it. There were lots of interesting artefacts throughout and \'quirky\' touches like the brass bucket(sink!!) All in all an amazing stay, hopefully I will return one day.

Bonne WiFi A recommander

The location is great, quiet but only a short walk from the buzzing parts of Trastevere. The roof terrace was a great bonus, even though we had a few rainy mornings. The cute neigbourhood Alimentari (genuine deli/grocery store) was amazing. We didn\'t get to explore the enotecas or trattorias right next door, I do think we would have liked a short list of the nearby amenities such as restaurants (they were closed when we arrived). The car service was great, and Marwin who welcommed us was great. Loved the self check-out, too.

First off, let me say that the flat -- location, furnishings, cleaning help, owners -- were all fantastic. Rome Loft was extremely helpful as I rented St. Peter\'s Attic. But after a month or so, people changed -- even the name of the company seemed to change -- with no notice to me of what was going on. And, frankly, the people I worked with at that point were not as responsive as Juliana and Gaelle were. Someone did not seem to know I was staying for 4 months so I got repeat monthly announcements about my arrival. There was confusion over the credit card, even tho RomeLoft had it on file with my permission to use it. And, I have asked at least 4 times now about the availability of the flat for the same time next year and have received no answer -- not even a we don\'t know yet. So halfway thru my stay, while everything about the flat remained perfect -- the services from the agency seemed to flounder. Ellen

You can see the Trevi fountain from the bathroom window! You\'re THAT close! Which is great as a central spot if you\'re traipsing around Rome. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean. My arrival was later than expected and my international phone plan wasn\'t working and the staff was really understanding - which I appreciated. It was a bit noisy at night, but only because I like sleeping with the windows open - once closed it was fine. I would certainly stay here again if and when I return to Rome! (No forks in the kitchen - just spoons and knives - but otherwise decently equipped.)

Farnese Charming Apartment: So grateful for all the efforts from our host to make our arrival easy and pleasant for us. Gea welcomed us and made herself available if we had any questions. The flat is beautiful! It was fully equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Our family of four enjoyed staying for four nights. It was so nice to come home to a big living room, with extremely comfortable sofas, to regroup and plan our next day’s activities. We slept very well as there was very little noise. We appreciated the comfortable beds, the beautiful wood floors, and the washing machine! We were able to shop in the market of Campo de Fiori for cheese, meat and bread to make sandwiches back at the apartment. We also took advantage of 3 of the great restaurants basically just outside the front door. The location was convenient to walk to Trastevere for dinner as well. We would love to return as it is such a welcoming home. Thank you for sharing!

The staff at Rome Loft were very helpful and the booking went smoothly. The apartment is in an excellent location; a quiet piazza yet literally a minute or two from Campo di Fiori. Very convenient for walking to all the major sights or strolling round the old centre. Everything was clean with fresh linen and good supplies of towels etc.. Cooking facilities are limited but there was everything we needed for breakfasts - we did not cook any main meals. Eating on the rooftop terrace was lovely. The beds and furnishings were comfortable although access to the upper bed needed care because of the very low beams. The bathroom was very small and dark. There was plenty of hot water and the shower worked fine although the shower head was low and might be difficult for tall people. Likewise the washbasin had a low bulb over it which made it difficult to lean over the small basin and so water would always splash over the floor. Several doors are just sheets of plywood which do not seem to fit with the rest of the decor in the apartment. The outside shutters could not be properly bolted which meant keeping the inner doors locked for security - this might make the rooms very hot in summer? But overall the issues we had did not significantly detract from a very enjoyable stay.

Contact with Rome Loft is perfect; e-mails and questions were handled in a very satisfying and quickly way. Reception and explanation of apartment facilities was perfect. Location in the midst of Rome was great, although noisy in the morning but that is debet to the location and no problem at all. The apartment is spacious, nicely decorated, with lovely stairways. The main bathroom could do with a little paint here and there and the kitchen cabinets could do with some fixing. Price/quality was fine. Overall we had a lovely stay.

The point near Fontana di Trevi is very convenient to see walking around the historic center but also to get around by bus, bus stops are at 200-300 meters and shopping shops very close. Stayed here for 4 days with my husband and 14yr old son. The quiet building is situated just north of Piazza Novona (5 mins walk) , 15 minutes walk to Piazza di Spagna where you can get the Metro and 10/15 mins walk to the Pantheon. Across the river (10 mins) is the St Peters Basilica and the Vatican - so basically this apartment is very centrally located for sightseeing. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 of each upstairs and downstairs. Bathroom upstairs has only a bath and the one downstairs has a shower - which does need a new shower door - has a door and a shower curtain at the moment!! Odd. Other than the shower we found everything to be great especially the staff who were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Rome.

The apartment was incredibly spacious with comfortable beds. It is totally charming and had everything we needed. The location was superb and we had an awesome stay. My only negative comment is that there should be some explanation of how to operate the washing machine (for us neophytes who shudder at the thought of a six hour wash cycle). This apartment is extremely comfortable, very well equipped (we found nothing missing) and very attractively furnished. It was a pleasure to \'come home to\' after each excursion. Its location in the lively area of Trastevere, with its many bars and restaurants, is excellent too; there is much of historic and aesthetic interest to see very close by and it is an easy walk across the Tevere to the historic centre of the city where almost every step takes you to some amazing church, palazzo or monument. Public transport of trams and buses, along the Viale di Trastevere is also easy to reach and very convenient. The staff of RomeLoft have been most helpful and in every way our (winter) stay here has been most enjoyable.

The apartment location and size are the major strengths. The outlook over Piazza Farnese is wonderful. It is well appointed, with generous spaces especially for the main living/dining area and main bedroom. The staff are wonderful and easy to deal with. The bathrooms are not top standard; slow hot water in the shower for example, but the problems not serious enough to stop us staying there again. The area in Rome is close to many restaurants, cafes and bars, bustops and also within walking distance of many main sights.

Staff was wonderfully responsive, very professional, from emails to check in and even replaced a broken toaster very quickly and easily. Quiet building, overall. Great street. One small thing that surprised us: there is a circle of broken glass in main room window that had been repaired with sticky tape. Sometimes that let a bit of cold air in. Rome in January is not the most obvious time to visit, but was when we needed a break. The flat was spacious and comfortable, and the pictures do represent what you get. We chose a bigger appartment than we really needed, as we knew we\'d be spending time in the flat, and we wanted to be comofrtable and have space to spread. The location is excellent. Really easy to get about to all the major sites, and very convenient for the bus routes around town. Being close to Campo Fioro and Piazza Navona also meant that we were close to food shops and good restaurants. The flat was clean, well equipped, warm (important in january!) and comfortable. It ticked all our boxes.

Good location. Good staff. Good bed & kitchenette. Good hot water & heating. You know the little problems re size of shower & small bathrooms. Needs a new shower head in the 2nd shower & there are minor leaks to vanity taps. Perhaps it needs a table to eat at and a new main sofa. We were surprise that in such a solid building the other guest could be heard. Upper level above needs a softer floor covering to reduce the sound of walking around the top floor unit being heard in this unit. We had a pleasant stay, thanks.

It\'s the second time that we rent the Valadier Residence. It\'s perfect for 2 to 4 persons. The apartment is well equipped and nicely furnished. The support team is efficient and helpful. The location is fantastic as the apartment combines quietness and calm, rigth in the heart of Rome, in the busiest neighborhood of the city. Most of the hot spots of the city can be visited on foot and the subway is 2 minutes walk as well as one of the most important bus station. I highly recommend it either for a romantic trip or a business travel

The flat was beautiful and in the perfect location, about 10 m from the Trevi fountain which is beautiful at all times of day. The apartment itself was very clean and had all the essentials we needed to be comfortable as a group of 6. One shower didn\'t have any hot water for the whole time we were there, but the remaining two bathrooms did which was manageable between 6. The beds were very comfortable and the communal areas were great - everything was very clean. The check in process was very easy, and our stay very enjoyable so thank you!

I stayed in five or six apartments in Rome over the last few years, this was #1. I was with my elderly mother, and she loved being so close to restaurants etc., Location is great, It is well-stocked (even with espresso), very clean, and it feels like a \"home\" not a hotel room. I would live in this apartment, no problem. Whoever thought of including a box of espresso and a machine is a genius, grazie. There were cold days in Rome, but the apartment heats well. Two small problems -- (1) The internet was not working consistently for the first 2 days. But once a broken cable was fixed, it worked great for the duration, so this is not a problem now. (2) The shower water pressure is \"fair.\" Not great. Because this apartment is on floor 5, this may not be a fixable problem (I don\'t know). But this small issue, so even if it can not be fixed, I would still stay here, no problem. Every apartment everywhere has something wrong with it, this is a small price to pay for everything else being great.

Ideally placed near many of the most important sites in Rome. The Jewish Ghetto is a very interesting area and the apartment is close to many good food shops and excellent coffee shops. Apartment was spacious and well equipped. Being on the top floor (luckily there is a lift) meant that we did not hear our neighbours. The one slight ammoyance was that the metro appeared to run underneath the building and when the train passed underneath the whole building shock. It was something we got used to and the trains seem to stop during the night. All in all a wonderful stay in Rome ?

Well appointed apartment - had everything we needed! Responsiveness and attention from the team was fantastic. Perfect location with everything in walking distance. The terrace is marvelous. Even with a few rainy days, part of the terrace stayed dry. Really enjoyed the experience. Only slightly lower rating for a bed that was 100% comfortable but still passable.

The location of the via Leutari apartment cannot be improved upon. There is wonderful food shopping in the Campo dei Fiori - a butcher, a norcineria, fruits and vegetables, and an excellent bakery nearby. It is possible to walk to many of Rome\'s major sites - and to stop in bars and cafes for coffees and light snacks. There are also many good restaurants and wine bars very nearby. The Cinema Farnese screens occasional movies in English. The staff at Rome Loft is attentive and helpful.

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment. We find the location perfect: in Trastevere, a short walk from everywhere, but outside of the busiest parts. The area is quiet, the apartment delightfully relaxing; it is always a pleasure to return after a day walking Rome. The kitchen is perfectly adequate, the bathroom works well, we slept happily in the mezzanine bed. Definitely recommended.

Mr. Jim Lillis stayed at Orso house apartment Up to 4 people
The Orso House apartment is in a perfect neighborhood. River is one block away, Novano Square within 5 minute walk where musicians and artists perform daily/nightly. Four restaurants that were recommended to us before the trip were within walking distance, and tons of other eating possibilities were right there. Coffee, gelato, and interesting shops were all nearby. The apartment building is old, nicely preserved, safe, and quiet. The apartment includes two bedroom/two bath with very comfy beds and bathrooms that are updated and very clean. Showers in both baths are very good with lots of water pressure. Living area has very comfortable seating (two couches) and the entire apartment is well lit which was very nice. A #4 rating for facilities pertains to the kitchen. We ate meals out, so we didn\'t use the small kitchen for cooking. There was a nice refrigerator, a stove, cooking utensils and pots/pans, silverware, glasses and plates. One could easily fix breakfast and lunch there, but it wasn\'t really a draw for us. We had no contact with staff during our stay except for a young man who met us there on arrival. He did an adequate job of explaining the apartment and building workings, but we never had to call anyone re. questions, so it\'s hard to know if staff would be responsive. We did not use the television, which in our past experience of renting apartments, is one of the most difficult areas to understand and get informed about. he Orso House apartment was ideal for us, and we would certainly seek to rent it again for future trips to Rome.

This is our third visit to this unit, and each time we have had water-related issues. This time the plant irrigation system failed (requiring a caretaker visit), the water went off entirely once, and there were two issues with the toilet, each requiring a plumber to correct. Responsiveness of the on-site staff was in all cases good, but at this price we shouldn\'t have to experience repeated issues like this.

The location could not be better and the apartment is great. Would be nice to have a few U.S. news stations on the tv. The hot water kept shutting-off and had to be reset at the gas panel. Needs to be repaired. Water in shower drains very slow. Other than these items the apartment was perfect very clean and well equipped. Check-in was easy as were your terms and conditions. Will definitely choose Rome Lofts for our next visit to Rome.

The staff was wonderful and attentive. As for the loft, it was in a great location and had everything we would ever need. Our biggest complaints would be that the mattress was so soft. Which was fine for 4 nights. The flat was in an amazing area of Trastaverde, had a beautiful comfortable balcony, view of St. Peter\'s. Tons of cute places to eat around there. It was a great value and a very comfortable place to stay.

The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. It has great views and nice lighting. The decor was refreshing and modern. The kitchen and bathroom were well appointed and functional. However, although the linens and bedding were of nice quality, the bed itself was way too soft. The mattress itself did not lend well to the thick feather bed on top. Even with the feather bed removed, the mattress was much too soft. I wanted so bad to love the whole unit because of how cute and nice it was, but the mattress needs an upgrade. The other thing to keep in mind is the 71 stairs leading up to it. We loved the exercise and were rewarded with the bright sunny unit and views, but it may not be good for everyone. Lastly, earplugs are a must as the restaurant below is quite lively until the wee hours. This overall was not an issue for us for the most part. Overall, with a mattress upgrade, we would love to go back.

The staff at RomeLoft were amazing, they responded to every email right away and went out of their way to help me out. The car service to and fro the airport was wonderful worth a few extra euros. The apartment is beautiful and the bed very comfortable. We did not use the kitchen but it is very nice. The artwork is stunning. The apartment is quite even though it is in a busy neighborhood.. lots of good restaurants to choose from. For us the third floor walk up was a lot ( my husband had a bad knee) three floors are actually six sets of stairs. But I totally recommend this company.

The apartment was as described online but a little sparse in terms of furniture for the living area. We request a sofa as there were just two small arm chairs and a plastic side chair. We rented the apartment for four months and would have thought these basic comforts would have been provided on arrival. Instead we had to several weeks before the sofa was delivered and the same for the microwave oven. Apart from this the staff have all been very polite, responsive and helpful. Thank you.

We generally enjoyed the apartment with its beautiful ambiance and comfort. The handover of keys went very smoothly - with the staff member responsible being on time. However, as I explained previously, there were a couple of problems. I had asked for two beds but only one was made up and no spare sheets were available. A staff member arranged for a maid to come the next day and make up a bed - and we appreciated that. We couldn\'t work out how to use the stove - and rang the contact person for assistance. He didn\'t know how to use the stove. And when we eventually worked it out the next morning,it turned out that only one of the burners was working anyway. I believe the staff member I contacted has been reported it so that it can be fixed. Thanks to Juliana who sorted these things out for us.

The apartment was very nice. It was in a great location. Just had to walk out to a number of bars and restaurants. Also, was not very far from all the attractions in Rome itself. There was just one thing that was not the best which was a constant drip from an adjoining air conditioner that dripped non stop on the metal roof located just outside the bedroom window. That made it difficult to sleep sometimes.

The apartment is attractive and spacious. It is well modernised in an old building. We were two friends so we were able to have a bathroom each. The hot water was somewhat intermittent but adequate. The beds and rooms are comfortable and the apartment is quiet as it is high up above the street noise; the a/c worked well, too. Be prepared for the stairs from the street door - there are 50, and they are not easy steps as they are stone (and old)! The location is very good as there are many cafes and restaurants close by and lovely shops in via dei Coronari. It is also easy to walk to the piazza Navona and other popular tourist spots. We didn’t cook a meal but the cooker would be fine if you wanted. The apartment was very good for a weekend stay.

This is a wonderful apartment in the heart of Rome with everything in walking distance. Everything worked out perfect. The friendly and funny driver met us at the airport and took us directly to the doorstep (although 55€ for the trip is 9 € more than the authorities allow for taxis from the citycenter to airport Fiumicino, but I didn\'t know that upon booking. and of course it was very comfortable to be met at the gate with a name tag and not having to search for the official taxi stands...). In the meantime the driver had informed the key holder, who met us in front of the house. He swiftly showed us the amenities, cashed the rest of the rent and the tourist tax and left us to marvel at the beautiful apartment with its antique ceilings and beautiful atmosphere. 3 Towels per Person, soap, shampoo, kitchen basics, everything was there. There could have been some more water glasses in the kitchen, and the kitchen could have been a bit cleaner, but that wasn\'t a real problem. Overall we felt totally at home and it was a perfect stay. I can highly recommend \"Navona stylish apartment\" and the services of Romeloft. Thanks to the team. Looking forward to our next stay in the most beautiful city of the world.

Our second time staying in this apartment and we loved it as much as the first: the layout and facilities are very pleasing (practically and aesthetically); the two terraces and their views of st Peters and the city are spectacular; and all the Rome Loft staff, from booking to receiving us the day we arrived, are helpful, attentive to detail and kind. The location meant that everything we wanted to see was walkable, yet we were able to retreat to quietness each evening. The supermarket directly across the street was great and, for the second time, we fell in love with the restaurant just around the corner (Il Sorpasso). Only criticism: the bed is very hard, but we still hope to return in the future.

The location of the Campo Marzio apartment is excellent. We walked to all the major sites and enjoyed lovely meals close to the apartment. Was a pleasure to work with the Rome Loft staff--they were very responsive to emails and helped us book arrival and departure private transfers, which worked very well. The apartment is not luxurious but it is adequate. The A/C worked well and we took advantage of the clothes washer. The shower is small but worked. The kitchen is tiny but we only made coffee, so not a problem. The apartment is on a back street so was not noisy and was very secure. The elevator is tiny--we used it only to transport luggage. The rest of the time we used the stairs--only one flight. Overall, a very good experience.

This is my second time with Romeloft and I am very happy with the service. The taxi pickup from the airport was particularly good, took the stress out of arrival.the taxi driver phoned the person dealing with the apartment and did not leave us until he was there. I loved the style of the apartment, which was much nicer than a bland hotel room. The roof terrace was also a bonus. The location was ideal, within walking distance of attractions. The only drawback was the four flights of stairs - I did know about these but they were sometimes a struggle when coming back hot and tired Not for the fainthearted, however I did think it was worth it. The online description was accurate. Overall I was very happy with the apartment and would definitely use Romeloft again

I have always stayed in hotels when traveling but this time I happened to find Rome loft and liked the look of the apartment. I have been to Rome before but this time it was extra special as I was taking my two grown up sons to see Rome with me for the first time. It was perfect and we all felt completely at home which made the short break, it was a lovely place to come back to after a busy days sightseeing. To flop into the comfy sofas have a drink and relax. The apartment had everything we could possibly need a real home from home but so clean comfortable and beautifully positioned, just a step away from friendly restraints and the famous Piazza Navona just 10 mins by foot. I can’t recommend this apartment highly enough, it’s not fussy or glamorous but homely and comfortable and so very Italian. I will definitely be back with boys again in the near future for a very special weekend in beautiful Rome. Thank you Rome loft for a great break that we will remember.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and in the heart of Rome historical centre. It is spacious and comfortable. The master bedroom is on the main street and might get a bit of noise from the traffic, but we were not bothered by it and with the windows closed is barely noticeable. The second bedroom overlooks a quiet backyard. The flat has also a lift, which is great if you travel with heavier suitcases. The kitchen is small but has everything you need to cook a meal. There is also a wide selection of DVDs if you want to stay in and watch a movie. This is our second stay in this flat and we loved it!

Mrs. Lisa stayed at Trevi comfortable terrace apartment Up to 4+2 people
Our family of six spent three nights in this unit last week. As a first time visitor to Rome, I can say that this unit was fantastic! The location is amazing (steps to major sites, transit, etc, plus a grocery store located at the base of the building, and a cafe right across the street). The unit is so close to the Trevi fountain, that we were able to visit it morning, noon and night...made for some great pics when the crowds were smaller. The unit is much larger than I thought it would be - it is very spacious, and nicely decorated. The two washrooms, washer and dryer, sleeping areas, etc are great for a larger group. There are piles of books about Rome in the unit, which were enjoyable to read. The balcony and balcony seating was fantastic - we sat outside frequently, and enjoyed seeing the herbs and other plants, and looking over the rooftops. The kitchen is well appointed with all the basics. While we mainly used it for breakfast and night time snacks, it looked like every type of pot, dish, cup and utensil was available. One thing to note is that the unit is on the 5th floor - so there are quite a few steps to walk up and down. The pitch of the stairs is gentle though, so it is not a bad climb. There is an elevator which we used for getting our luggage up and down, but it is quite tiny by comparison to elevators at home. This wasn\'t a huge issue, and the tradeoff of the terrific location and spacious unit more than made up for the stairs. Lorenzo and his staff were all excellent. All of our questions were answered quickly, the checkin and checkout process was easy. We had an excellent trip and I would highly recommend this unit.

Simply the best city apartment we have rented to date. Smart, clean, well equipped, comfortable, quiet, roomy, loads of natural light, great roof terrace, safe and central enough to have all of Rome at a walking distance. What more can I say?! It\'s on the third floor and roof of the building, with only stairs up to the front door, so if you don\'t like stairs, then don\'t book. Otherwise, this is a fantastic apartment for 2 to 6 people. We went with our daughter (17) and she took the en-suite double room on the roof, while we took the master double on the main third floor. If we had brought our son, he could have had another double next to ours (with its own Juliet balcony) and we could either have shared the bathroom there or he could have used the one on the mezzanine above the kitchen. A little quirky setup then maybe but we loved it and it didn\'t matter because it was just the three of us anyway. Book it!

After booking on-line from Australia we were very pleased to meet the representative from RomeLoft awaiting our arrival on 21/7/18 at Via Vittoria 3, Roma. Apart from the initial stairs, having the lift to the apartment was fantastic. The apartment on initial inspection was clean, tidy and beautifully furnished. Apart from the TV not working, we were extremely happy with the amenities in the apartment. The balcony was fabulous for getting some fresh air and hanging clothes out. The bedrooms were well appointed with sufficient storage space as were the bathrooms (equipped with a European laundry). The showers do leak onto the bathroom floor but if you lay a towel out you can capture most of it. The kitchen and dining area had all the services you require and although I didn\'t cook whilst there, we did prepare food and found everything we were looking for. The shutters in the bedroom are fabulous especially when you\'re trying to get over your jet-lag and there was no noise from the street. The location of this apartment is perfect. Just off the corner of Via Del Corso, our street was relatively quiet with mostly locals utilising it to access their every-day lives. The street-scape is incredibly picturesque with beautiful architecture and historical buildings. There are plenty of places to eat, drink and shop including a small grocery shop 2 minutes up the street. It is within walking distance of most of the attractions of Rome including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Pantheon and a short train trip to the Vatican and Colosseum. We could not have been happier with this apartment and would highly recommend it to any traveller. We would love the opportunity to stay again at Via Vittoria 3. Thank you RomeLoft for your great customer service, especially in having a key cut at short notice, for maintaining the apartment and for the smooth running of your operation.

Well equipped apartment in great central location near Pantheon and via del Corso. On fifth floor with elevator and a final 18 steps up to the apartment - not a problem for us but might be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The apartment was comfortable and our check in experience and communication was excellent. The apartment was not particularly well cleaned. When my 21 year son elected to sleep on the sofa bed one night as the bed on the mezzanine is directly under the roof tiles and rather stuffy and hot, when we moved the rug to deploy the sofa bed these was a great deal of dirt and dust underneath. Bathroom likewise was a little grubby. Linen and towels were very clean and bed in main room was comfortable. The two air conditioners in the apartment struggled to cool the apartment in the heat of summer. Would happily stay in this apartment again outside summer as the location is terrific and private and the apartment is a cosy little place. Best suited for two adults as the sofa bed is not practical and took 10 minutes to set up as not easy to use and the mezzanine bed is only suitable for children.

The loft was perfectly located, easy to walk to all major sight seeing attractions. The loft has a very nice piazza with a panini place that had the best paninis in Rome. We travelled with two kids (10 and 13) and everyone was very happy with the loft and the setup. The AC works perfectly and beds were very comfortable. The loft has clear instructions around the apartment on managing your stay as well. The only negative is that there were a few ants by the main door, fireplace and under the window in the kitchen. A few ant traps and bug spray will get rid of the problem.

The flat itself is perfect for up to 3 couples (living room convertible sofa), but very enjoyable if only 2. Two bathrooms (showers). The location is simply perfect, being walking distance from many Roman landmarks (St Peter, piazza Navona, Pantheon, palazzo Altemps…) and at the same time remote from the noisy avenues full of cars. Nice shops, cafés and wine bars round the corner. Will try to rent it again next time I stay in Rome. NB: not exactly convenient for people who walk with difficulty, only a relatively narrow and steep flight of stairs to access the flat.

Mrs. Ariel stayed at Trevi comfortable terrace apartment Up to 4+2 people
We had so much fun. We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids under 5) and this was perfect for us. The boys loved the location and exploring Rome. Being so close to the Trevi fountain was great, as was the walk to the Spanish steps. Having a grocery store at the bottom floor was priceless--as we were able to do meals in the apartments a few times (although there were many nearby restaurants).

I loved the place! I traveled with my wife and kids and the space was awesome! Sunny and fresh apartment! The elevator is a good thing! Localization excelent! It would be better if you had another air conditionair in the other bedroom! But this is not a problem! I realy recommend!!!!

Mrs. Jacey stayed at Trastevere terrace loft Up to 4+1 people
The location in Trastevere was convenient to great restaurants and central to other sites we wanted to visit in Rome. The loft was well-appointed and beautifully decorated. The entire space seemed newly renovated and was clean. Easy communication and an overall great experience! Would stay again.

What a fabulous apartment - quirky and bijou yet utterly charming and fully stocked with everything you might need. The array of books on Rome was particularly useful, as was the air conditioning. The bathroom is modern and the shower excellent; so lovely to have such a big window too.Terrace is small but a perfect spot for an al fresco breakfast or early glass of fizz before heading out to the delights of Trastevere. Even the climb up the stairs was all part of the charm and helped keep us fit and look forward to that terrace even more! Romeloft as a company are super efficient and reliable. From the driver appearing on time at the airport, to the meet and greet at the apartment and everything else, it all went like clockwork and we felt that if anything did need sorting out, they would be able to do it for us.Have recommended Romeloft to several people already and cannot praise you all highly enough. Thank you so much for an amazing stay in Rome for our anniversary!

Mrs. Amy stayed at Trastevere charming penthouse Up to 6 people
The apartment was everything we had wanted and more. The terrace is perfect after a long day of walking, we spent most mornings and evenings there before we headed out.The apartment is spacious (there were 6 adults) and clean and has all the facilities you could need. The location was central to everything, which means you can walk to all of the main points of interest with ease. Travestere is a fantastic neighborhood to stay in, beautiful cobbled streets and great restaurants and bars ( has that authentic Italian feel ). We can\'t wait to come back next year.

Mr. David stayed at Sant’Onofrio terrace apartment Up to 2+2 people
This is really one of those apartments for a special occasion. It\'s not particularly \"up-scale\" but its position on this hill is really extraordinary. We celebrated a 50th Birthday here and it was perfect. We had a chef come in and cook for 8 of us up on the roof terrace and it was like being on a movie set - St. Peter\'s Basilica on one side, with the entire rest of the City on the other. The apartment feels spacious, practical and \"lived-in\". As some others have mentioned, the shower needs a little attention but it in no way detracts from this wonderful space. We have already recommended it to other friends and the only real down-side to this apartment was the fact we had to eventually leave it. We would have loved to stay even longer!

    1. I requested bedding as I always sleep on the sofa. . None arrived so I used pillows from the bedroom and a spare blanket. 2. I told your representative that I had booked a car for the return journey but he said this had not been done so he ordered it for us. Good comment - when a new lock was put on the front door we told the rep that we needed new keys. He organised this really quickly.. Lorna Sharpe

I have passed a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment ! Me and my friends couldn\'t dreamed better for our trip in Rome, We all enjoyed so much the furnished and charming terrace for our evening, sharing an \"aperitivo\". We had all the comfort expected thanks to the 2 bedrooms. Also very well located in Trastevere We could enjoy the nightlife and still stay far from the noise of Trastevere. Well, I truly recommend this apartment !

Very personal and artistic space. Ingenious use of small rooms, definitely not for small children but lovely for curious adults. Terraces were perfect. Make SURE all windows locked before setting the alarm system which was a little anxiety inducing.

Great location in central Rome, but off the busy traffic street and in a quite area. Having a terrace was an added bonus. Wonderful restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. A respit after a busy day of adventuring out to see Rome.

Mr. Greg stayed at Scala luxury terrace studio Up to 2 people
This is a truly lovely apartment - small but very well designed. It has a trendy yet peaceful feel to it. Lovely large bathroom and shower. Bit of a strange, but comfortable, bed - could do with a fitted sheet over the soft mattress topper - and look out for the sign telling you where the sleeping pillows are! Luckily my husband spotted the sign telling us the pillows were hidden inside the decorative cushions on the bed:) The balcony is small but a great place to sit & look out over the rooftops and view the action in the alley below. Just a warning if you are going to be there over the weekend - and if this is something that bothers you - the noise from the surrounding alleys is rather loud till the wee hours of the morning. You also need to be reasonably fit & able to climb the stairs up to the apartment - but then again - that\'s what a trip to Italy is all about - lots of walking & stair climbing! Trastevere is definitely the area to stay in Rome - does not feel too touristy - has great bars & restaurants - and is popular with the local people. All in all we believe we made the best decision to stay in La Scala luxury terrace apartment in Trastevere!

Mr. Andrew stayed at Spanish Steps lovely apartment Up to 2+2 people
The location is very convenient to Spanish Steps and shopping, if that\'s what you\'re looking for, extremely crowded if you like more secluded places. The design of the apartment is charming, layout food, and it\'s light and well air conditioned. The chairs in the living room need some attention as the bottoms are breaking. The bathroom is good; but the light is not great around the mirror, so difficult to shave for a man. The shower stall is good. The beds are good; but the pillows could be better and doubled.

Nice colourful appartment with lot of space for 4 persons. Maybe a bit dark because the window blind are closed to keep the sun out. The appartment is very well located, most of the sights to reach within short walks. Supermarket nearby. Unfortunately an aircondition is only to be found in the kitchen, not in the bedrooms! So in summer sleeping might be very hot.

Mr. Ryan stayed at Trastevere charming penthouse Up to 6 people
We were very happy with how much space there was for our family. 4 adults and 2 kids. The 3 bedrooms were perfect, although the mattresses were hard. The terrace was a lovely space with wonderful views in all directions. The bathrooms were freshly remodeled but we were surprised that they weren\'t stocked with basic handsoap. Once in the Penthouse everything felt quite nice, but the entrance to the building was a bit drab and dark. Upon first entering we were nervous, but once we got up the 3 flights of stairs, we were very happy.

The accommodation is located close to the shops, restaurants and Metro, with major attractions easily accessible. Staff are very friendly and always willing to assist. Would respond to queries by email and WhatsApp promptly. Don’t let the lack of an elevator put you off as the exercise will be welcome after great Italian food and drink. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

This is great apartment with the perfect location, no doubt! The apartment has everything you need. Not luxosrious but great. The only thing compared to a hotel is lack of hotel services as breakfast and staff at a desk - but if you rather make it on your own this is the choice. Coffee machine and small kitchen in the room. Groceries for breakfast etc just a minute walk away.

Parfait appartement pour qui souhaite être au coeur du centre historique avec tout ce qui va avec, des joies et facilités (proximité de tous les commerces et monuments) aux petits désagréments (immense foule, activité urbaine).
