Should I stay in an apartment or in a hotel while in Rome?” Travelers often are undecided between booking an apartment or a hotel room. After experiencing our service, they understand that apartments can definitely provide a better quality/price ratio.

More space, more privacy, lower price are the main reasons why you should go for an apartment. And also better location: Romeloft’s apartments are located in the heart of the city center, where there are very few hotels. This is especially true in the area of Trastevere, the most typical district of the old Rome neighbourhoods.

Our service aims at delivering the best possible experience while in Rome. Enjoy it!

Mr. José stayed at Trastevere Luxury Home Up to 4 people
Trastevere Luxury Home: we were expecting a special place, but we were really surprised by this apartment. It far exceeded our already high expectations. Located in the Trastevere neighborhood, one of the most traditional and attractive in Rome, it is a true gem: spacious, with lots of light, decorated with exquisite taste and at the same time with modern facilities that make it very comfortable and functional. The 2 bedrooms are very comfortable, the main one with a large bathroom and a very adequate space to store clothes or whatever is necessary. The kitchen should stand out: it has everything you need and of high quality and, at the same time, it has a very special design and is very attractive. The main room is very spacious, comfortable, with decorative touches that reflect the good taste of the owners, Indian and German pieces, ideal for relaxing after a day of visits and walks. The location seemed perfect to us. Trastevere is a neighborhood that becomes very bustling at night. However, the apartment, although located a few steps from the area of restaurants, bars and shops, is on a very quiet cobblestone street. At the same time, it has access just a few meters from the main avenue of the neighborhood and is within walking distance of the most important monuments of Rome. It is important to highlight that this is a recently renovated apartment, for which they did not skimp on providing it with the most modern communities, installing perfect lighting, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. We definitely plan to return many times, for the Eternal City but also for this home away from home.

My frist time at romeloft by accident normally i stay 80-100 nights in hotels per year. Super contact very fast and professional. I wanted to stay i Rome with a great view so I started my journey in the Marriott rome, but It was ok nice, so I changed to this apartment. Great location next to Vatican 5 min walk , there is a lift so always great if you don not travel light. The bed is conformable and ones you hit the roof top via a separate stair I was sold. The kitchen is functional but not big , And the shower could give a little more water ( i love that ) It is not luxury but very cozy. I put comfort inn 4 as it is not in the hart of Rome so you always need to walk, But Walking distance to manny great restaurants, like only the 2 star in Rome on 5 min walk Il_Pagliaccio, and I found a new love in ZIA restaurant. If you plan Rome , go 4 it !

Mr. Michael stayed at Trevi comfortable terrace apartment Up to 4 people
The apartment is reaklly big and nice and the terrasse is wonderful though there is a lot of noise from the ventilation form a nearby house or restaurant. We where missing duvet cover for one of the teenagers covers, but it came when we called about it. The tried to sell a taxi for 75 euro to the airport even though the fixed price is 48 euros, but that was the only thing where we felt cheated. The apartment is really nice and very close to everything. We recommend these restaurants nearby: Il Porto de Ripetta and Osteria Barberini and Roscioli

The romeloft staff was always responding and helpfull. The apartment hast a soul and is very well equipped. Beautiful Art in every room. Spacious kitchen, huge livingroom with several comfy sofas and a piano and a terrace with outdoorfurniture. Bright rooms and view over roofs and trees. We fell in love with that place. Centrally located, all the sightseeing spots are in walking distance. Many restaurants and shops around the corner, but very quiet and peaceful. We stayed there for 9 nights and enjoyed every minute.

Our family could not have been happier in this beautiful home in an ideal neighborhood in Rome. The home is modern and complete, beautifully furnished and perfectly located for both the sights of Rome (all within walking distance) and the many local trattorias, literally within minutes walk of the front door.

Vielen Dank

I had the fortune of being in Rome while recuperating from a broken leg and when the virus struck and lockdown ensued. The flat was perfect for both of these, and the owners and portiera extraordinarily kind and helpful.

Mrs. Kimberly stayed at Scala lovely terrace apartment Up to 2 people
We were picked up from the airport by the transfer which was arranged by, Romeloft. The driver was very relaxed and heartwarming. The Scala Lovely Terrace Apartment is centrally located in one of Rome\'s most heartwarming neighbourhood, Trastevere. As you might expect in Trastevere, it\'s very noisy outside in the nights. So prepare yourself and bring some earplugs around. In a 7 minute walk, you can get your groceries. In a 0 minute walk, you can get some fresh coffee at a local bar. Within the apartment all equipment was there to make it comfy. One advise might to repair the wooden chair in the small extra living in the front. Then, you can sit even more relaxed in the bright room. The apartment has two (yes two!) terraces, which allow you to get some sun in the late morning or early afternoon. A very romantic and private stay for a couple. Unfortunately we were forced to go home, due to the coronavirus. Although we left with pain our hearts, we were able to get a small look into the roman life.

The apartment was so lovely and generally well set up that I am reluctant to even suggest a few improvements... but they would be these: Improve the water pressure in kitchen faucet Leave extra pillowcases for the extra pillows Install a ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom See? Very minor! We loved our stay, and we also appreciated the excellent service— your driver, Honey Singh, was helpful, polite, and a very safe driver. Your key holder/handyman was prompt and helpful, as was Asel from your office. We were pleased with all aspects of our stay, really. We hope to come back!

Migara was a wonderful warm welcome to the apartment. He was very responsive to our questions. Answered within minutes. He also checked in with us during the week. This is my 3rd time using Rome Loft. I have been very happy each time. I have rarely seen such attentive service in any business. Thank you very much to Migara for making our stay so comfortable. The location was fantastic. We would stay there again. The only complaint was the smelly sticks in the apartment. We find them in most apartments and do not like them.

This is our second Rome Loft experience, and we are delighted with the staff, the apartments, the locations. This apartment has amazing views and is large and comfortable. The location is excellent, near everything, including a great food store. There is also a fantastic restaurant across the square that we loved os much we ate there 4 times. The second floor bedroom has very low ceilings in one part. It wasn\'t a problem for us, but just be aware. The second floor bathroom is a bit tired, but works well. We did have a brief issue with losing heat and hot water one night, but Rome Loft was there by 11am the next day and it was fixed. This time we used Rome Loft for our airport transfers, coming and going, and it was perfect. When we go back to Rome, we will use Rome Loft again.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of all major attractions. Via was filled with great restaurants, markets and bar. Would definitely stay here again! The young man, sorry forgot his name, who met me at the flat was thorough in going through the property and bailed me out when I left both sets of keys in the flat.

This quiet and secure apartment is situated in a great location, surrounded by loads of places to eat and drink. It’s just the right size for 2 adults, with most things you need for a short stay. Very comfortable bed, with clean linen and towels provided. We found the shower to be quite small and there was a slight smell from the drains. The key holder who met us, was very friendly, informative and readily at hand should any issues arise. Payment of the balance by credit card was easy. I would have no hesitation in using Romeloft again.

This apartment lives up to its photos and description - its like the owner has just departed minutes before - leaving all their personal comforts and amenities intact for our enjoyment. The apartment offers space for a group of 6-8 to have some privacy time, and also great community areas like the dining room and kitchen. We bought provisions to make some meals in the well equipped kitchen - and enjoyed the experience so much. There\'s a full sized fridge, a great cook-top and all the equipment that\'s needed - although the knives could do with a little sharpening. Main bedroom bathroom is very appealing - with a much appreciated bath. This address is also very conveniently located in Trastevere - the BEST (newly discovered) area of this stunning city.

We have used the services of Rome Lofts for a number of years and once again the service was excellent. The driver, Honey, collected us from the airport and the transfer to the apartment was seamless. We waited outside for a few minutes until the keyholder arrived. He took us on a tour of the apartment and explained clearly how everything worked. This apartment was spotless, and in such an amazing location between Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The apartment was fully equipped for our 7 night stay. We had one issue when the heating went off but the key holder came and fixed it within a couple of hours. I would certainly book this again. If I was going to be picky then I would say there is a strong smell from the drains in the second bedroom/bathroom that perhaps an air freshener would be useful, but that would really be picky and it didn\'t spoil our holiday at all. Thanks again Rome Lofts!

A really large apartment with heaps of space for our party of 9. Comfy beds & sofas, lots of blankets & a well equipped kitchen. The piano was a wonderful bonus that we all enjoyed playing! The wifi didn\'t work well, which was a shame & we found that only one person could be on at a time. Also the hot water didn\'t get hot enough for us so it was a quick shower - perhaps this is due to council restrictions or perhaps it needs adjusting. We had a wonderful stay & overall, we were thrilled with the apartment. Highly recommend!

Great location, in one of the beautiful spots of Rome, quiet loft with a breathtaking view over the roof of the City. Staff is well organised, and helpful. Some negative points though: the bathroom is not at the expected standard for the price we paid, there is nothing to hang and store clothes properly, which for a stay of more than a week-end is a real problem.

We had asked Romeloft to help us arrange the transfer from the airport to the apartment. The driver from honeycar service was very nice and he drove very well. The key holder was meeting us when we arrived, he was also a nice man. We loved the apartment from the first moment we saw it, The kitchen/living area was very nice, comfortable and very well equipped. The terrace was really fantastic - big and welcoming. We used it every day as we were real lucky with the sunny weather. As we stayed for two weeks, the bed linen and the towels were exchanged after one week -- also very nice. We can definitely strongly recommend Romeloft and this apartment as well as honey car service

We had a great time and the apartment was truly easy to live in. It is well equipped, simple and pretty. Just one or two small issues. The bathroom had a strange smell. A duvet cover was not provided for the sofabed. I would also suggest that a cheese grater is supplied. Thank you. We would certainly consider booking Scaletta again. Tom

Our apartment was perfect! It was beautifully decorated with lots of pretty art and wonderful furniture. We had eight rooms to ourselves and delighted in the spaciousness. We were able to bring in groceries and cook a dinner and have breakfast instead of going out into the rain. I had my eye on the cat stonework over the fireplace as I volunteer with cats in Los Angeles. I would buy it in a instant if the owners wanted to sell it!!! The views from all the windows were amazing. The location was great for walking to many places we wanted to see. We couldn\'t have been happier with our choice of the RomeLoft apartment. Only one thing to mention is that we weren\'t sure if we needed to take all of the trash/recyclables down to the main bins. When it was time to leave, suffice to say, we didn\'t want to leave!

I stayed here as a solo traveller. The location was ideal for me. The apartment is very clean and comfortable, especially for one person. For more than one, the kitchen would be a bit tight to work in. If cooking was a priority, be aware that the kitchen lacks a microwave and toaster.

This is an apartment with soul. With plenty of space and a fantastic terrace perfectly located in Trastevere! One should not expect luxury standard, the furniture is a little worn and it is not exactly newly refurbished. But if you\'re not so picky about it, this is an absolutely incredible place to stay. It was clean and bright and spacious. The apartment had everything we needed. Highly recommend it!

Located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes away from the bustling center of Trastevere, as well as the Vatican, the apartment was perfect for our desires. Very spacious, particularly for us, and most especially for family living, with a grand piano to enjoy, and an outside terrace to bask in the sun and/or entertain guests or simply enjoy with family and friends, this apartment is a must-try for anyone visiting Rome. Plenty of windows to enjoy Rome’s sunnier disposition, as well as the views of a changing sky filled with thunder and lightning showers and clouds. It’s unique Roman style feels comfortable and lived in. Nice kitchen to play chef; all facilities appeared to work well. Everyone who we contacted in RomeLoft, without exception, we’re courteous, prompt, and competent; that being said, their services are plenty. Also very near a decent breakfast and lunch spot (directly on the corner), and a fabulous Roman style restaurant (just around the corner),plus a little grocery store for those wishing to stay close to home for a night or two.

This is a charming and comfortable apartment in a friendly neighborhood 500 m from the centre of Rome.My only complaint would be it is difficult to take a shower without making a mess and the alternative, the bath was a tight squeeze for me. It must also be said that dealing with the people of Rome Loft was also a pleasure. I was met by a friendly driver at Fiumicino and the extremely helpful Snr Marvan at the apartment even though it was past 9.30 pm when I arrived there. Importantly, there is a very friendly cafe next door which serves a good breakfast in the morning and good wine by the glass afterwards.

Mrs. Jo stayed at Pantheon Stylish Attic Up to 4 people
This property really can’t be beaten for location, the minute you step out the main entrance there is a jaw dropping monument right in front of you! Minutes from the pantheon and Piazza Navona, a short walk to Trevi and the Spanish Steps and plenty of designer window shopping! Even the Coliseum was only about 30 minutes away on foot. The loft itself was gorgeous and only a few things stopped me giving it 5/5 on all fronts. Firstly we arrived at check in time with the key holder but the apartment was still being cleaned. Not a deal breaker as it meant we could leave our cases but weren’t comfortable leaving valuables (there isn’t a safe) so had to take these with us for lunch and come back and hour later to unpack. Silver lining however as we found a lovely place for a pasta lunch (€9 ish and €6 for a medium carafe of wine) called Pietro de Pantheon. We actually came back another day for lunch and the dinner on our last night. Second the pictures of the terrace on the website are, shall we say, generous. In reality it was very small and the wall mounted air conditioning unit made it feel even more so. The furniture was tired and dirty and the plant pots had definitely seen better days. I really think with a good clean and a bit of TLC this area could be much nicer (maybe planters hanging off the railings to allow a bit more floor space?). Consequently we didn’t spend an evening sitting out and drinking wine. Granted we didn’t come to Rome to do this every night but it would have been a lovely place for a night cap. Third, the mezzanine was very cramped and we all had to stoop to walk to the bed. The bed itself was very comfortable and due to literally being in the eaves was very cosy. You just seriously had to watch your head getting there which made me feel nervous about my daughter hurting herself. Hint: she was worried about the gap where the side of the bed met the railings so we used the oversized cushions off our bed as a barrier and this worked well. Finally the shower tray was very dusty and as the drain seemed to take the entire time of a shower to empty it meant we had lumps of dust floating around our ankles for the first few times we used it. A bit yuck. We had no hot water one evening and the following morning however a quick message to our key holder and it was sorted by the time time we returned that afternoon. Thank you! Other than those niggles we loved our Home in Rome. The key holder was helpful and prompt. Our car transfers to and from the airport excellent (we would definitely recommend this. And that beautiful Mercedes that collected us on arrival ?...!) and the customer service generally from the Rome Lofts team has been excellent. We considered AirBnB before hearing of this company but I’m so glad we reconsidered and if we return I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Oh and Aperitivo at Salotto 42 downstairs wasn’t cheap but worth it and they made our daughter feel very welcome. The concept of a buffet in a bar blew her mind!

I was only in Rome for a few days, and was busy each day exploring the city, however it was very nice to come home to such a welcoming and comfortable apartment. I felt I was staying at a friend’s place. I would have liked to have the opportunity to spend more time to relax - especially on the balcony. There are such a lot of stairs to carry luggage up and down - it is a shame there is not accessibility to the lift.

Thank you very much to all the staff, very competent and efficient. The flat was very nice, big enough for 2 people with our own bedroom and bathroom, clean with everything we needed; I just would like to say that the sofas were a bit too old, flat and not so confortable, may be you could change the cushions, but as we did not stay very often in the flat it was ok. Otherwise, everything was perfect and if I come back to Roma I will ask again RomeLoft for a flat and I will recomande this web site to my friends. Thanks again.

The apartment is overall amazing. The availability of two bathrooms is very useful and the kitchen has everyone one needs if the choice is to eat in the apartment. The view of the Vatican from the terrace is priceless. The check in process was somewhat cumbersome. We thought we had agreed on a specific meeting time and place, at the apartment, but the local representative arrived an hour late and we had to call to confirm because we did not see him at the agreed upon time and place. This person, very pleasant, does not speak Italian and even English was a bit of an obstacle. There were some bread crumbs in and a round the toaster oven. We asked for some additional pillows and they were able to find these for us. The location is wonderful, near perfect. Very close to the Vatican, walking distance to all of Rome\'s major attractions. There are some excellent restaurants within minutes by foot.

This is just to say we loved our stay in 48 Via della Scala in Trastevere, owned by Signora Sgritta. We had the best trip ever, and loved the stylish flat, 100% wonderful and poetic and practical and clean and quiet and incredibly beautiful, with two terraces, and just very nice. An ideal place overall, perfect way to visit Rome, and live there for a while! A big thank you to our host, for his warm welcome and help throughout (Signore Claudio Sgritta)! Lots of excellent advice when needed. We felt we were truly “at home” there, which is not often the case in other rentals with other companies. We hope to be able to rent this flat next time we come to Rome.

It was our second stay in the apartment ( Farnese) and just as lovely comfortable and home from home feel. The only thing that was slightly annoying was the shower, which could do with some attention. Also needs a toaster as we love our toast and the grill took ages. Otherwise a perfect holiday retreat in Rome! Will come back next year as feel very at home in this particular apartment. Thank you Rome loft. Lovely stay yet again.

Romeloft were always very quick and responsive when we had problems - all of which apart from the broken dishwasher, they solved efficiently. They were unfailingly helpful and friendly. We did feel that the owner of the flat needed to sort out the hot water supply, which was very intermittent, and the lift was old and rather alarming. When we first arrived in very hot weather the air conditioning was not working well, but after two visits that problem was cured. It was also useful to have a concierge on site who was very helpful.

Just a couple of things. - there was only 1 TV controller despite the instruction sheet saying there were 2 needed to operate the TV. We were unable to get it to work. This actually didn’t bother us as we didn’t need the TV - we were a little surprised that a gardener had access to the apartment without warning us. We diligently watered the plants as instructed. All in all a great stay and we would use the apartment again if visiting Rome.

This is a two bed not three. No one can sleep in the “third”room. It is well equipped. It is in a great area. Walkable to Vatican, Spanish steps, Colloseum, etc. Lots of restaurants- some average some great. People very friendly. Downside to flat - no outside patio furniture on a fabulous balcony is criminal. There is work going on in block but we were out everyday.A/C is good standard as is en suite bathroom to master bed room, the other is tired.

The home was perfect! Location could not be beat! We were a family of 4 (couple with 22 and 21 year olds) and the space was great. We all loved sitting out on the terrace, drinking wine and watching the sunset. The home is large and very spacious! Had any and everything we needed. We did find the 2 downstairs bedrooms to be quite warm even with the portable air conditioners. I think using LED bulbs, especially in the bathrooms, would help some. The upstairs bedroom was VERY cool and comfortable. All in all, we would definately stay here again and would recommend to anyone!

via Della Scala is an ideal location to stay in Trastevere. Our apartment was located on the second floor and although there was no lift, it was well worth the effort. The apartment is spacious enough for two people and is extremely quiet. The shower is a tight fit, but the lounge room, kitchen and bedroom were all spacious. Trastevere is similar to Surrey Hills, Newtown, Oxford Street or Paddington in Sydney. There are more bars and restaurants than you could ever manage to visit and the river Tiber and the city of Rome are well within walking distance. Campo de\' Fiori is a short stroll from Trastevere, while the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Via del Corso are also nearby. The unit was cleaned once a week and we booked a driver from the airport to the apartment for 55 euro. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment and Rome Loft.

Love it!!!

The apartment was very comfortable, with two bedrooms each having its own private bath. The bedrooms are air conditioned, although the common living space is not. The location was great -- very close to Piazza Navona, walking distance to Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps, a cheap cab ride to the Vatican or Colosseum. On the street are several very good restaurants -- L\'orso 80, CiPASSO, Lagana meaning you don\'t have to go far to enjoy a fantastic meal. A very relaxing place from which to enjoy and explore Rome.

I had no idea what to expect when booking this apartment, as photos can often be deceiving. Happily, my experience with RomeLoft exceeded my expectations. We were met promptly by our friendly and courteous host who helped us up the six flights (!) of stairs with our many bags, and then showed us around the place. Charmingly decorated, with everything you need for your stay in Rome. Of course, the highlight is the two balconies - one was perfect for breakfast espresso, the other for watching the nightlife down below. What a great location - centrally located, charming, with so many amazing restaurants in the immediate vicinity it is hard to choose. While you are in the thick of things, it was still relatively quiet in the apartment (I am a light sleeper and relied on my fan app for white noise, but my husband, the heavy sleeper, was not disturbed at all). Air conditioner worked great. The bed could use a new mattress, but definitely not a deal breaker. Fabulous apartment, already missing it, will definitely return, and highly recommend RomeLoft!

We loved staying in the apartment - 4 adults, using the three beds. Th apartment was lovely and spacious and we never felt as though we were on top of each other. Despite the heat wave in Rome at the time we found that the air conditioning worked well to cool the place down. Although you are right in amongst it at Corso De Fiori, the apartment was quiet enough for us to sleep well. The staff were friendly and accommodating and allowed us to drop our bags early. There are a lot of great eating places very close nearby and the famous bakery on the corner where we got many delicious breakfast treats. Although the service areas and bathrooms were a little tired, we found the apartment value for money, everything worked and everything was clean. Thanks so much Rome Loft. We will recommend too our friends and family.

This is a fantastic apartment. Romeloft were absolutely wonderful to deal with, very efficient and also super flexible as we had a surprise gathering and they really helped us out. Their transfer company was great too. The apartment has a luxury feel, the beds are super comfy, great lounge, terrace. One of the front beautiful windows needs cleaning and more wine glasses, but the whole apartment was super clean and the location is fantastic. I would say twixt The Vatican and Trastevere so perfect.

First of the communication with the Romeloft agent was great. He left a message while we were in flight to say there were problems with public transport. We were able to speak to him and tell him when we would arrive at the apartment. The apartment was as described - light, spacious, well equipped and with an amazing view of the dome of St. Peter\'s. The area around the apartment was busy during the day but did quieten during the evening and on Saturday morning. The local supermarket was well stocked. The local restaurants were very good and reasonably priced. It was very hot when we stayed in Rome and so being near a Metro station would have made getting around a little cooler. It was lovely to come back to the air conditioned apartment.

The highlights of this apartment included the most helpful and delightful Marwin (apologies for misspelling of his name) and all that he did to assist us in settling into Rome life, arranging transport back to airport, availability via cell phone, and prompt response. The beds were comfortable, air-conditioning just right, photographs accurate. We would have liked higher / fixed shower heads for the men in our group who are tall(!) and larger trash/recycling bins with instructions. Not a big deal though. I\'d consider using Rome Lofts again... Thank you for a lovely stay!

Nice apartment, nice decorated and furnished. The cleaning wasn\'t made carefully: the carpets were full of breadcrumbs and sand. No dishwasher tablets. The washing machine worked well. Good water pressure, a lot of warm water. Very good air conditioning. Good beds in the bedroom. The sofa bed very small and short. A lot of stairs, no lift (but we\'ve used to that), but hard to climb if someone has problems.

The terrazza view from this property is spectacular! and may be one of the best we have seen in over 20 years of visiting Rome. The visual interest is non-stop and we could have sat on the terrazza all day just taking in the views. Imagine you are next to Palazzo Spada and overlook all the rooftops of Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Farnese and Via Guilia for 270 degrees. You look down on Piazza Quercia and can watch all the comings and going of daily life in this area. Sunrise is grand and right in your face. The evening brings florid color changes that are worth of a Stendahl moment. How much luckier could you be. The inside is comfortable and accurately described as bohemian. Chilling there in the evening with a book, friends and loved ones is special. Kitchen offerings are for the flexible, but we wanted for nothing. Bathroom facilities are the only drawback and required flexibility on occupants part. If the main floor bedroom had more current offerings this place would be off the charts. This terrazza is so nice we even discussed for future trips renting another spot for better bathroom/bedroom accommodations AND renting this place for the terrazza alone. Lastly, were greeted with a real treat of timing our check in at the precise moment of the Independence Day fighter jet fly over with the Italian tricolor trailers. Unforgetable. Ciao.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment has a warm and charming feel and there are lots of personal touches which make it feel welcoming and comfortable. It is a great location from which to walk to everything that we wanted to see and there are some excellent restaurants nearby. The outlook is quintessentially Rome and we enjoyed the little terrace. There is some noise from the nearby restaurants at night as you would expect in the middle of the city, but with the windows closed it\'s ok and it is very quiet during the day. The bathroom and kitchen need some attention and a thorough scrub. This could easily be rectified and if so we would choose this apartment next time we return to Rome.

We have used several Italian agencies before but Rome Loft is by far the best; accessible and responsive. We loved our check-in experience and appreciated the help and information provided. We found the staff at Rome Loft very helpful and understanding. Our apartment was quite lovely and we adored every moment we spent there. It is comfortable, stylish, well-appointed and the views are fantastic. And it is quiet - a real bonus in the centre of Rome. The location, in the old Roman Ghetto, is very atmospheric and gives guests easy access to the best of Rome: history, glorious walks, great shops and restaurants. Having the charming and helpful owner nearby was hugely reassuring for a couple in their seventies. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough and we were quite reluctant to leave!

Thank you Gea for sharing your home. We indeed felt very much at home and especially enjoyed the wonderful sunlight streaming in the living room in the afternoons and the view over Piazza Farnese. The apartment is tastefully decorated, well euipped and very comfortable. It was a delight to come home to after a long day of walking through the historic streets of Rome. The location is perfect, close to wonderful local shops and of course, the market at Campo di Fiori. You can still find good local vendors for fruits, vegetables and cheeses. Of course renters should be aware that the apartment is up 3 flights of stairs (55 steps and no elevator) and that it is noisy, sometimes at night from the late revellers from the bars of Campo di Fiori but also in the early morning when the vendors and workers set up. Barring a future investment in noise cancelling double-paned windows, a good pair of ear plugs solves that. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment.

The apartment was clean, spacious, and brilliantly located. The tiles throughout the apartment are really in need of an update, being badly cracked and damaged in places. The other negative was the garbage containers placed inside the building at the bottom of the stairs that we had to pass every time we came in and out of the apartment. BAD. And the garbage in the street outside so that looking out of the window was not a pleasant experience. Apart from that everything was very good. I would use Romeloft again.

If you\'re choosing where to stay in Rome, whether you\'re a couple, or a family, this is the place to be. We were welcomed and shown around by a lovely gentleman who was extremely helpful as we arrived quite early. The apartment is a dream. It being the penthouse apartment, it’s a climb to the top but SO WORTH the steps. And just think of the health benefits! The entrance is clean and spacious, as is the living room. The décor within the whole apartment is so stylish. The attention to detail in each room has been carefully thought out and is a credit to the owner. A great utility kitchen with everything you need, as well as a Nespresso machine for a good cup of coffee in the morning. We had the bedroom at the top of the apartment next to the rooftop terrace and it was a dream. This room also comes with an en-suite bathroom so you don’t have to go up and down the stairs to use the loo! There are 3 bathrooms in total so if there are 3 couples, you all get your own bathroom. This is a real treat! There are so many wonderful spaces in this apartment, it’s difficult to pick my favourite, but I guess it would have to be the rooftop terrace, which is just gorgeous and perfect for all times of day or night. It’s peaceful and the views over one side are far and wide. I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment as the place to stay in Rome. It’s 10 minutes from the Vatican and 10 minutes from the AMAZING Trastevere. We walked everywhere and nowhere seemed too far away. I would recommend booking a taxi to the airport in advance as there aren’t a lot of taxis that come down to the road level the apartment is on, which is another of it’s charms. Worth every penny and I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to beautiful Rome. Thank you so so so so much. Emma and Jon.

This was my first visit to Rome and it didn\'t disappoint(except for the weather!). I had booked a taxi from the airport which was waiting for me and took me straight to the apartment where I was met by Marvan with the keys. He went through everything with me and was really helpful and polite. As I was on my own it was reassuring he was there if I had any problems. The apartment was fine for me but for a family who may have wanted to eat in the kitchen facilities(cooker) was slightly sparse but this didn\'t affect me. The only problem I had was the Sky TV which wasn\'t working and so there were only basic channels and I was unable to adjust the volume!! The location was perfect, within walking distance of all major sites although I seemed to take a different route through alleyways every time I went out/returned!! The price was expensive for a solo traveller but this would have been acceptable if I could have made more use of the terrace with its amazing views. Unfortunately I had 2 days of rain so this limited the use of the terrace and meant the flamingo got rather blown about! I was intrigued by some of the art work on display and would love to know more about it. There were lots of interesting artefacts throughout and \'quirky\' touches like the brass bucket(sink!!) All in all an amazing stay, hopefully I will return one day.

The location is great, quiet but only a short walk from the buzzing parts of Trastevere. The roof terrace was a great bonus, even though we had a few rainy mornings. The cute neigbourhood Alimentari (genuine deli/grocery store) was amazing. We didn\'t get to explore the enotecas or trattorias right next door, I do think we would have liked a short list of the nearby amenities such as restaurants (they were closed when we arrived). The car service was great, and Marwin who welcommed us was great. Loved the self check-out, too.

Farnese Charming Apartment: So grateful for all the efforts from our host to make our arrival easy and pleasant for us. Gea welcomed us and made herself available if we had any questions. The flat is beautiful! It was fully equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Our family of four enjoyed staying for four nights. It was so nice to come home to a big living room, with extremely comfortable sofas, to regroup and plan our next day’s activities. We slept very well as there was very little noise. We appreciated the comfortable beds, the beautiful wood floors, and the washing machine! We were able to shop in the market of Campo de Fiori for cheese, meat and bread to make sandwiches back at the apartment. We also took advantage of 3 of the great restaurants basically just outside the front door. The location was convenient to walk to Trastevere for dinner as well. We would love to return as it is such a welcoming home. Thank you for sharing!

Contact with Rome Loft is perfect; e-mails and questions were handled in a very satisfying and quickly way. Reception and explanation of apartment facilities was perfect. Location in the midst of Rome was great, although noisy in the morning but that is debet to the location and no problem at all. The apartment is spacious, nicely decorated, with lovely stairways. The main bathroom could do with a little paint here and there and the kitchen cabinets could do with some fixing. Price/quality was fine. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Stayed here for 4 days with my husband and 14yr old son. The quiet building is situated just north of Piazza Novona (5 mins walk) , 15 minutes walk to Piazza di Spagna where you can get the Metro and 10/15 mins walk to the Pantheon. Across the river (10 mins) is the St Peters Basilica and the Vatican - so basically this apartment is very centrally located for sightseeing. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 of each upstairs and downstairs. Bathroom upstairs has only a bath and the one downstairs has a shower - which does need a new shower door - has a door and a shower curtain at the moment!! Odd. Other than the shower we found everything to be great especially the staff who were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Rome.

The apartment was incredibly spacious with comfortable beds. It is totally charming and had everything we needed. The location was superb and we had an awesome stay. My only negative comment is that there should be some explanation of how to operate the washing machine (for us neophytes who shudder at the thought of a six hour wash cycle). Also the seagulls can be awfully annoying during the night but that isn\'y anyone\'s fault. I would stay here again in a heartbeat - loved it!

This apartment is extremely comfortable, very well equipped (we found nothing missing) and very attractively furnished. It was a pleasure to \'come home to\' after each excursion. Its location in the lively area of Trastevere, with its many bars and restaurants, is excellent too; there is much of historic and aesthetic interest to see very close by and it is an easy walk across the Tevere to the historic centre of the city where almost every step takes you to some amazing church, palazzo or monument. Public transport of trams and buses, along the Viale di Trastevere is also easy to reach and very convenient. The staff of RomeLoft have been most helpful and in every way our (winter) stay here has been most enjoyable.

Rome in January is not the most obvious time to visit, but was when we needed a break. The flat was spacious and comfortable, and the pictures do represent what you get. We chose a bigger appartment than we really needed, as we knew we\'d be spending time in the flat, and we wanted to be comofrtable and have space to spread. The location is excellent. Really easy to get about to all the major sites, and very convenient for the bus routes around town. Being close to Campo Fioro and Piazza Navona also meant that we were close to food shops and good restaurants. The flat was clean, well equipped, warm (important in january!) and comfortable. It ticked all our boxes.

It\'s the second time that we rent the Valadier Residence. It\'s perfect for 2 to 4 persons. The apartment is well equipped and nicely furnished. The support team is efficient and helpful. The location is fantastic as the apartment combines quietness and calm, rigth in the heart of Rome, in the busiest neighborhood of the city. Most of the hot spots of the city can be visited on foot and the subway is 2 minutes walk as well as one of the most important bus station. I highly recommend it either for a romantic trip or a business travel

Ideally placed near many of the most important sites in Rome. The Jewish Ghetto is a very interesting area and the apartment is close to many good food shops and excellent coffee shops. Apartment was spacious and well equipped. Being on the top floor (luckily there is a lift) meant that we did not hear our neighbours. The one slight ammoyance was that the metro appeared to run underneath the building and when the train passed underneath the whole building shock. It was something we got used to and the trains seem to stop during the night. All in all a wonderful stay in Rome ?

Well appointed apartment - had everything we needed! Responsiveness and attention from the team was fantastic. Perfect location with everything in walking distance. The terrace is marvelous. Even with a few rainy days, part of the terrace stayed dry. Really enjoyed the experience. Only slightly lower rating for a bed that was 100% comfortable but still passable.

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment. We find the location perfect: in Trastevere, a short walk from everywhere, but outside of the busiest parts. The area is quiet, the apartment delightfully relaxing; it is always a pleasure to return after a day walking Rome. The kitchen is perfectly adequate, the bathroom works well, we slept happily in the mezzanine bed. Definitely recommended.

The apartment is beautifully furnished and well equipped. The location is superb - we were with easy walking distance of all the sights - didn\'t take a bus or metro in 5 days! The only negative is that you do hear the road - but ear plugs resolved that! Would definitely return.

The Orso House apartment is in a perfect neighborhood. River is one block away, Novano Square within 5 minute walk where musicians and artists perform daily/nightly. Four restaurants that were recommended to us before the trip were within walking distance, and tons of other eating possibilities were right there. Coffee, gelato, and interesting shops were all nearby. The apartment building is old, nicely preserved, safe, and quiet. The apartment includes two bedroom/two bath with very comfy beds and bathrooms that are updated and very clean. Showers in both baths are very good with lots of water pressure. Living area has very comfortable seating (two couches) and the entire apartment is well lit which was very nice. A #4 rating for facilities pertains to the kitchen. We ate meals out, so we didn\'t use the small kitchen for cooking. There was a nice refrigerator, a stove, cooking utensils and pots/pans, silverware, glasses and plates. One could easily fix breakfast and lunch there, but it wasn\'t really a draw for us. We had no contact with staff during our stay except for a young man who met us there on arrival. He did an adequate job of explaining the apartment and building workings, but we never had to call anyone re. questions, so it\'s hard to know if staff would be responsive. We did not use the television, which in our past experience of renting apartments, is one of the most difficult areas to understand and get informed about. he Orso House apartment was ideal for us, and we would certainly seek to rent it again for future trips to Rome.

This is our third visit to this unit, and each time we have had water-related issues. This time the plant irrigation system failed (requiring a caretaker visit), the water went off entirely once, and there were two issues with the toilet, each requiring a plumber to correct. Responsiveness of the on-site staff was in all cases good, but at this price we shouldn\'t have to experience repeated issues like this.

The staff was wonderful and attentive. As for the loft, it was in a great location and had everything we would ever need. Our biggest complaints would be that the mattress was so soft. Which was fine for 4 nights. The flat was in an amazing area of Trastaverde, had a beautiful comfortable balcony, view of St. Peter\'s. Tons of cute places to eat around there. It was a great value and a very comfortable place to stay.

This is a wonderful apartment in the heart of Rome with everything in walking distance. Everything worked out perfect. The friendly and funny driver met us at the airport and took us directly to the doorstep (although 55€ for the trip is 9 € more than the authorities allow for taxis from the citycenter to airport Fiumicino, but I didn\'t know that upon booking. and of course it was very comfortable to be met at the gate with a name tag and not having to search for the official taxi stands...). In the meantime the driver had informed the key holder, who met us in front of the house. He swiftly showed us the amenities, cashed the rest of the rent and the tourist tax and left us to marvel at the beautiful apartment with its antique ceilings and beautiful atmosphere. 3 Towels per Person, soap, shampoo, kitchen basics, everything was there. There could have been some more water glasses in the kitchen, and the kitchen could have been a bit cleaner, but that wasn\'t a real problem. Overall we felt totally at home and it was a perfect stay. I can highly recommend \"Navona stylish apartment\" and the services of Romeloft. Thanks to the team. Looking forward to our next stay in the most beautiful city of the world.

Our second time staying in this apartment and we loved it as much as the first: the layout and facilities are very pleasing (practically and aesthetically); the two terraces and their views of st Peters and the city are spectacular; and all the Rome Loft staff, from booking to receiving us the day we arrived, are helpful, attentive to detail and kind. The location meant that everything we wanted to see was walkable, yet we were able to retreat to quietness each evening. The supermarket directly across the street was great and, for the second time, we fell in love with the restaurant just around the corner (Il Sorpasso). Only criticism: the bed is very hard, but we still hope to return in the future.

This is my second time with Romeloft and I am very happy with the service. The taxi pickup from the airport was particularly good, took the stress out of arrival.the taxi driver phoned the person dealing with the apartment and did not leave us until he was there. I loved the style of the apartment, which was much nicer than a bland hotel room. The roof terrace was also a bonus. The location was ideal, within walking distance of attractions. The only drawback was the four flights of stairs - I did know about these but they were sometimes a struggle when coming back hot and tired Not for the fainthearted, however I did think it was worth it. The online description was accurate. Overall I was very happy with the apartment and would definitely use Romeloft again

I have always stayed in hotels when traveling but this time I happened to find Rome loft and liked the look of the apartment. I have been to Rome before but this time it was extra special as I was taking my two grown up sons to see Rome with me for the first time. It was perfect and we all felt completely at home which made the short break, it was a lovely place to come back to after a busy days sightseeing. To flop into the comfy sofas have a drink and relax. The apartment had everything we could possibly need a real home from home but so clean comfortable and beautifully positioned, just a step away from friendly restraints and the famous Piazza Navona just 10 mins by foot. I can’t recommend this apartment highly enough, it’s not fussy or glamorous but homely and comfortable and so very Italian. I will definitely be back with boys again in the near future for a very special weekend in beautiful Rome. Thank you Rome loft for a great break that we will remember.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and in the heart of Rome historical centre. It is spacious and comfortable. The master bedroom is on the main street and might get a bit of noise from the traffic, but we were not bothered by it and with the windows closed is barely noticeable. The second bedroom overlooks a quiet backyard. The flat has also a lift, which is great if you travel with heavier suitcases. The kitchen is small but has everything you need to cook a meal. There is also a wide selection of DVDs if you want to stay in and watch a movie. This is our second stay in this flat and we loved it!

Mrs. Lisa stayed at Trevi comfortable terrace apartment Up to 4 people
Our family of six spent three nights in this unit last week. As a first time visitor to Rome, I can say that this unit was fantastic! The location is amazing (steps to major sites, transit, etc, plus a grocery store located at the base of the building, and a cafe right across the street). The unit is so close to the Trevi fountain, that we were able to visit it morning, noon and night...made for some great pics when the crowds were smaller. The unit is much larger than I thought it would be - it is very spacious, and nicely decorated. The two washrooms, washer and dryer, sleeping areas, etc are great for a larger group. There are piles of books about Rome in the unit, which were enjoyable to read. The balcony and balcony seating was fantastic - we sat outside frequently, and enjoyed seeing the herbs and other plants, and looking over the rooftops. The kitchen is well appointed with all the basics. While we mainly used it for breakfast and night time snacks, it looked like every type of pot, dish, cup and utensil was available. One thing to note is that the unit is on the 5th floor - so there are quite a few steps to walk up and down. The pitch of the stairs is gentle though, so it is not a bad climb. There is an elevator which we used for getting our luggage up and down, but it is quite tiny by comparison to elevators at home. This wasn\'t a huge issue, and the tradeoff of the terrific location and spacious unit more than made up for the stairs. Lorenzo and his staff were all excellent. All of our questions were answered quickly, the checkin and checkout process was easy. We had an excellent trip and I would highly recommend this unit.

Simply the best city apartment we have rented to date. Smart, clean, well equipped, comfortable, quiet, roomy, loads of natural light, great roof terrace, safe and central enough to have all of Rome at a walking distance. What more can I say?! It\'s on the third floor and roof of the building, with only stairs up to the front door, so if you don\'t like stairs, then don\'t book. Otherwise, this is a fantastic apartment for 2 to 6 people. We went with our daughter (17) and she took the en-suite double room on the roof, while we took the master double on the main third floor. If we had brought our son, he could have had another double next to ours (with its own Juliet balcony) and we could either have shared the bathroom there or he could have used the one on the mezzanine above the kitchen. A little quirky setup then maybe but we loved it and it didn\'t matter because it was just the three of us anyway. Book it!

Our 5 night stay at Valadier Historic Residence was amazing. Exactly as described! A tasteful mix of historic and modern. Communication and check in/out was professional and easy. The residence is a very quiet oasis in a lively part of town, just a few min. away from the Spanish Steps. Great outside terrace. Fantastic restaurants and bars. Great organic market/restaurant around the corner, 24h supermarket and lots of little markets/stores close by. Gelato across the street! Great for shopping. Beautiful Villa Borghese in walking distance. I can highly recommend Valadier.

After booking on-line from Australia we were very pleased to meet the representative from RomeLoft awaiting our arrival on 21/7/18 at Via Vittoria 3, Roma. Apart from the initial stairs, having the lift to the apartment was fantastic. The apartment on initial inspection was clean, tidy and beautifully furnished. Apart from the TV not working, we were extremely happy with the amenities in the apartment. The balcony was fabulous for getting some fresh air and hanging clothes out. The bedrooms were well appointed with sufficient storage space as were the bathrooms (equipped with a European laundry). The showers do leak onto the bathroom floor but if you lay a towel out you can capture most of it. The kitchen and dining area had all the services you require and although I didn\'t cook whilst there, we did prepare food and found everything we were looking for. The shutters in the bedroom are fabulous especially when you\'re trying to get over your jet-lag and there was no noise from the street. The location of this apartment is perfect. Just off the corner of Via Del Corso, our street was relatively quiet with mostly locals utilising it to access their every-day lives. The street-scape is incredibly picturesque with beautiful architecture and historical buildings. There are plenty of places to eat, drink and shop including a small grocery shop 2 minutes up the street. It is within walking distance of most of the attractions of Rome including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Pantheon and a short train trip to the Vatican and Colosseum. We could not have been happier with this apartment and would highly recommend it to any traveller. We would love the opportunity to stay again at Via Vittoria 3. Thank you RomeLoft for your great customer service, especially in having a key cut at short notice, for maintaining the apartment and for the smooth running of your operation.

Well equipped apartment in great central location near Pantheon and via del Corso. On fifth floor with elevator and a final 18 steps up to the apartment - not a problem for us but might be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The apartment was comfortable and our check in experience and communication was excellent. The apartment was not particularly well cleaned. When my 21 year son elected to sleep on the sofa bed one night as the bed on the mezzanine is directly under the roof tiles and rather stuffy and hot, when we moved the rug to deploy the sofa bed these was a great deal of dirt and dust underneath. Bathroom likewise was a little grubby. Linen and towels were very clean and bed in main room was comfortable. The two air conditioners in the apartment struggled to cool the apartment in the heat of summer. Would happily stay in this apartment again outside summer as the location is terrific and private and the apartment is a cosy little place. Best suited for two adults as the sofa bed is not practical and took 10 minutes to set up as not easy to use and the mezzanine bed is only suitable for children.

We had so much fun. We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids under 5) and this was perfect for us. The boys loved the location and exploring Rome. Being so close to the Trevi fountain was great, as was the walk to the Spanish steps. Having a grocery store at the bottom floor was priceless--as we were able to do meals in the apartments a few times (although there were many nearby restaurants).

What a fabulous apartment - quirky and bijou yet utterly charming and fully stocked with everything you might need. The array of books on Rome was particularly useful, as was the air conditioning. The bathroom is modern and the shower excellent; so lovely to have such a big window too.Terrace is small but a perfect spot for an al fresco breakfast or early glass of fizz before heading out to the delights of Trastevere. Even the climb up the stairs was all part of the charm and helped keep us fit and look forward to that terrace even more! Romeloft as a company are super efficient and reliable. From the driver appearing on time at the airport, to the meet and greet at the apartment and everything else, it all went like clockwork and we felt that if anything did need sorting out, they would be able to do it for us.Have recommended Romeloft to several people already and cannot praise you all highly enough. This is really one of those apartments for a special occasion. It\'s not particularly \"up-scale\" but its position on this hill is really extraordinary. We celebrated a 50th Birthday here and it was perfect. We had a chef come in and cook for 8 of us up on the roof terrace and it was like being on a movie set - St. Peter\'s Basilica on one side, with the entire rest of the City on the other. The apartment feels spacious, practical and \"lived-in\". As some others have mentioned, the shower needs a little attention but it in no way detracts from this wonderful space. We have already recommended it to other friends and the only real down-side to this apartment was the fact we had to eventually leave it. We would have loved to stay even longer!

This is a truly lovely apartment - small but very well designed. It has a trendy yet peaceful feel to it. Lovely large bathroom and shower. Bit of a strange, but comfortable, bed - could do with a fitted sheet over the soft mattress topper - and look out for the sign telling you where the sleeping pillows are! Luckily my husband spotted the sign telling us the pillows were hidden inside the decorative cushions on the bed:) The balcony is small but a great place to sit & look out over the rooftops and view the action in the alley below. Just a warning if you are going to be there over the weekend - and if this is something that bothers you - the noise from the surrounding alleys is rather loud till the wee hours of the morning. You also need to be reasonably fit & able to climb the stairs up to the apartment - but then again - that\'s what a trip to Italy is all about - lots of walking & stair climbing! Trastevere is definitely the area to stay in Rome - does not feel too touristy - has great bars & restaurants - and is popular with the local people. All in all we believe we made the best decision to stay in La Scala luxury terrace apartment in Trastevere!

Nice colourful appartment with lot of space for 4 persons. Maybe a bit dark because the window blind are closed to keep the sun out. The appartment is very well located, most of the sights to reach within short walks. Supermarket nearby. Unfortunately an aircondition is only to be found in the kitchen, not in the bedrooms! So in summer sleeping might be very hot.

Other reviews have noted that the loft space is best suited for a smaller child and is open to the bed below so the apartment is for younger families, not two couples. There is very little storage space in the bedroom, although there is a closet in the living room. There are some steps from the elevator to the apartment so would not be accessible for a wheelchair or walker. Some of the windows do not have coverings and those that do, the coverings do not block out the morning light. If you need total darkness to sleep, this may be a problem, but we were tired enough from our daily travels and dining that we had no problem sleeping even after the sun rose. For just two of us, the apartment worked very well. The space was comfortable with convenient appliances and equipment in the kitchen. We had a water leak in the kitchen and that was fixed promptly. We only used the kitchen for breakfast but had everything we needed. The service does not provide kitchen essentials, but others had left behind salt, pepper, sugar, tea, coffee, oil and vinegar. In the bathroom, there was hair conditioner snd we left a bottle of shampoo. The wifi worked much better than some places we have stayed. We had to buy additional garbage bags and left the remainder of the roll behind. It would be helpful to know what to do with recycling. We could not find the community bins in the area. Again, as others have noted and what must be emphasized is the wonderful location between the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. It is close to many popular sights but quiet for sleeping. There are innumerable good restaurants and cafes within easy walking distances, some within the piazza below. The Campo di Fiori markets are a 10 minute walk. The week we spent in Rome was the last week of our holidays and the apartment helped make it a memorable experience.

We were also pleasantly surprised by the super nice location. Easy walking distance to Trastevere, The Vatican, Campo di Fiori, and much much more. Even with our 5 and 8 years old boys. The second bathroom could do with a bit of an upgrade and it would have been nice to have had a blanket on the beds although it was hot a sheet was not quite enough. Being able to leave our bags in the apartment after 10.30am on day of departure until the 1.30pm pick up was a real bonus. This was our second visit to a Romeloft apartment and we were very happy with everything and would definately recommend your services to others - as indeed we have already.

This is a lovely apartment. It is at loft level, so the ceiling can be low in places. But it is furnished tastefully and comfortably. There are two large comfy sofas in the living room-dining room. There is a separate breakfast room, kitchen, entry, laundry room and two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room has a large dining table and the breakfast room had a nice table! Wow for a rental. We were there for about six weeks. It was “home”. The rental included weekly cleaning, which included changing sheets and towels, essential if you are using the small washing machines common in Italy. A separate laundry room is very unusual and this was much appreciated as well as a clothes rack. We also used the radiators for quick drying. Heat worked very well. We were there in March and April, so I can’t speak about air-conditioning. It was very clean and well provisioned. The main bedroom is large. The bed appears to be a designer bed and the mattress was comfortable. The main bath is large. The bathtub has a shower but no curtain and is handheld so we didn’t use it, unfortunately. The second bathroom has a shower. It is quite small and the shower head needs to be replaced. The shower doesn’t spray evenly. The only bad thing about the apartment is that the main bath has a nasty sewer smell most of the time. It must not be vented properly. We notified the management who said the owner would come by but nothing changed. Maybe it can’t be fixed. We opened the window in this bathroom and tried to ignore it. It would be nice if the owner would provide nice table linens to go with the generally high quality of everything else. There is an elevator that always worked. The apartment is at the top of the palazzo dell’enciclopedia Italiana, a building which is mostly offices, but not on our floor. There are several major bus lines within a block. Plus it is on the edge of the Jewish Quarter in Rome and very near all sort of ruins, museums, shopping, etc. You can’t find a better location. The Campo di Fiori and the Piazza Navarro are nearby. Around the corner on Via Florida, is a pizza restaurant that is to die for. They have so many kinds and a large variety that are either hot out of the oven or they will heat them up for you for eating right there or for take-out. A Coop grocery store is a block and a half away and is adequate for most grocery needs. Cross Via Florida, go one block continuing straight past the ruins of the Torre Argentina (where Caesar was killed), turn right, and you’ll see it soon. Eat in the Jewish Quarter. Go right out the front door and follow the narrow road then the pedestrian path for about 2.5 blocks and you’ll find lots of restaurants. To the right, we loved the restaurant Beppo e i suoi formaggi. To the left, try Bella Carne. Before you get to the street with the Jewish restaurants, you’ll come to a tiny piazza, with a Bellini fountain known as the fontana della torturuga. Turn left there and walk several blocks along an alley-like street to Ristorante Vecchio Roma, pricy but delicious. The massive monument to Victoria Emmanuele is just a few blocks down Via Florida, the Forum, Capitoline Hill and the museums nearby. The Coliseum just a little further on.

Mrs. Megan stayed at Trastevere Lovely Apartment Up to 2+2 people
Easy communication and nice airport pick up on the day of our arrival. The apartment is in a great location and well outfitted. Our kids slept on the pull out couch and found it very comfortable. Despite being in the middle of everything the apartment is very quiet in terms of noise from outside. Since it is a ground floor apartment there was the noise of the people above us, but that is city living. Over all a great place to stay in Rome.

Mrs. Deborah stayed at Farnese charming apartment Up to 4 people
My daughter and I stayed at this apartment for a week in Rome -- and had a wonderful, authentic stay. We felt like locals. The apartment is small but it\'s charming, comfortable and the location is perfect. Our check-in was easy and everyone was incredibly accommodating to our earlier-than-expected arrival. The apartment was clean and comfortable after long days exploring Rome. The staff at RomeLoft was wonderful scheduling our arrival & departure transfers to the airport -- and very communicative when we needed them. I would stay here again, for sure!

The apartment is spacious and was very clean. We enjoyed the lively vibe of Trastevere. Although you are in the heart of it, the appartment is an oasis of calm. It is easy to walk to central Rome. Only issue was with the shower over the bath which sends water in all directions. We were welcomed efficiently by Sohail who was happy to organise airport transfers. We would stay here again.

Mrs. Eleanor stayed at Arancio terrace loft Up to 2 people
Great location for central Rome. Good use of space, a kitchen we barely used apart from kettle and washing machine. The open plan living bedroom area worked well for us. Good storage. Comfortable beds and a terrace which weather permitting we would have sat out on more. Welcome Staff arranged a replacement key for us within 30mins-impressive! The loft is not for the fainthearted or physically inactive-there is a small lift and /or lots of stairs. I struggled getting the shower hot enough most days. I think a wee freshen up of decor and furnishings and I would have given it 5\'s in my rating. The sofa looks grubby, the floor gets dirty quickly and there was nothing to wash it with. Two mugs one chipped..... There are no smoke alarms-maybe not used in Italy but 6 floors up I would have been happier with one!

As a couple we stayed at this apartment for 3 nights in Feb 2018. We have visited Rome many times in the past 25 years at various apartments and hotels. We can honestly say this is the best accomodation that we\'ve ever enjoyed in the Eternal City. The location in the Spagna-Condotti neighbourhood is unbeatable for convenience and amenity. It\'s a great spot for shopping, sightseeing and dining out. There\'s a very handy supermarket nearby, a fantastic cafe on the next corner and a Metro station within a 3 minute walk. The apartment itself is inside a 19th entry building and is in beautifully renovated condition, but with much of the historic decoration intact. The size of the apartment is simply amazing, with a generous entry hall, large well-equipped laundry (seperate Miele washer and dryer), a well-equipped medium-sized modern kitchen, large seperate dining room and two double bedrooms.There\'s also a very stylish and comfortable lounge room with a high-quality large-size Samsung television. The bedrooms each have ample wardrobe areas and very generous bathrooms. There is hydronic heating throughout the apartment and also reverse-cycle heating-cooling in the lounge room and each of the bedrooms. The beds and bedding are of high quality, with firm mattresses and very comfortable manchester and pillows. Although the weather was too cold in Feb to take advantage, we were also impressed by the two outdoor terrace areas. One very small one that could allow a couple to enjoy breakfast outside, and a much larger terrace at the rear that could easily accomodate a dinner party for 8-10 people. Any criticism of this apartment is quite difficult. We arrived during very cold weather in Rome, and found that the Hydronic heating worked very well - but it was programmed to shut off for much of the day - it\'d bee better if we could control this ourselves. The apartment is on the first floor above street level, so it\'s just one flight of stairs. This is an important issue when travelling with luggage as there\'s no elevator in the building. Because you are closer to the main entrance - you might get a little bit of noise (as we did) when residents come and go late at night - but overall it\'s very quite, peaceful and relatively private. We can\'t wait to visit again. Anna & Brendan MELBOURNE Australia
