Should I stay in an apartment or in a hotel while in Rome?” Travelers often are undecided between booking an apartment or a hotel room. After experiencing our service, they understand that apartments can definitely provide a better quality/price ratio.

More space, more privacy, lower price are the main reasons why you should go for an apartment. And also better location: Romeloft’s apartments are located in the heart of the city center, where there are very few hotels. This is especially true in the area of Trastevere, the most typical district of the old Rome neighbourhoods.

Our service aims at delivering the best possible experience while in Rome. Enjoy it!

Good location. Good staff. Good bed & kitchenette. Good hot water & heating. You know the little problems re size of shower & small bathrooms. Needs a new shower head in the 2nd shower & there are minor leaks to vanity taps. Perhaps it needs a table to eat at and a new main sofa. We were surprise that in such a solid building the other guest could be heard. Upper level above needs a softer floor covering to reduce the sound of walking around the top floor unit being heard in this unit. We had a pleasant stay, thanks.

It\'s the second time that we rent the Valadier Residence. It\'s perfect for 2 to 4 persons. The apartment is well equipped and nicely furnished. The support team is efficient and helpful. The location is fantastic as the apartment combines quietness and calm, rigth in the heart of Rome, in the busiest neighborhood of the city. Most of the hot spots of the city can be visited on foot and the subway is 2 minutes walk as well as one of the most important bus station. I highly recommend it either for a romantic trip or a business travel

Mrs. Eleanor stayed at Trevi house apartment Up to 6+2 people
The flat was beautiful and in the perfect location, about 10 m from the Trevi fountain which is beautiful at all times of day. The apartment itself was very clean and had all the essentials we needed to be comfortable as a group of 6. One shower didn\'t have any hot water for the whole time we were there, but the remaining two bathrooms did which was manageable between 6. The beds were very comfortable and the communal areas were great - everything was very clean. The check in process was very easy, and our stay very enjoyable so thank you!

I stayed in five or six apartments in Rome over the last few years, this was #1. I was with my elderly mother, and she loved being so close to restaurants etc., Location is great, It is well-stocked (even with espresso), very clean, and it feels like a \"home\" not a hotel room. I would live in this apartment, no problem. Whoever thought of including a box of espresso and a machine is a genius, grazie. There were cold days in Rome, but the apartment heats well. Two small problems -- (1) The internet was not working consistently for the first 2 days. But once a broken cable was fixed, it worked great for the duration, so this is not a problem now. (2) The shower water pressure is \"fair.\" Not great. Because this apartment is on floor 5, this may not be a fixable problem (I don\'t know). But this small issue, so even if it can not be fixed, I would still stay here, no problem. Every apartment everywhere has something wrong with it, this is a small price to pay for everything else being great.

Mr. Vincent stayed at Piazza Mattei elegant apartment Up to 4+2 people
Ideally placed near many of the most important sites in Rome. The Jewish Ghetto is a very interesting area and the apartment is close to many good food shops and excellent coffee shops. Apartment was spacious and well equipped. Being on the top floor (luckily there is a lift) meant that we did not hear our neighbours. The one slight ammoyance was that the metro appeared to run underneath the building and when the train passed underneath the whole building shock. It was something we got used to and the trains seem to stop during the night. All in all a wonderful stay in Rome ?

Well appointed apartment - had everything we needed! Responsiveness and attention from the team was fantastic. Perfect location with everything in walking distance. The terrace is marvelous. Even with a few rainy days, part of the terrace stayed dry. Really enjoyed the experience. Only slightly lower rating for a bed that was 100% comfortable but still passable.

Mrs. Carol stayed at Campo de Fiori Lovely Apartment Up to 4+2 people
The location of the via Leutari apartment cannot be improved upon. There is wonderful food shopping in the Campo dei Fiori - a butcher, a norcineria, fruits and vegetables, and an excellent bakery nearby. It is possible to walk to many of Rome\'s major sites - and to stop in bars and cafes for coffees and light snacks. There are also many good restaurants and wine bars very nearby. The Cinema Farnese screens occasional movies in English. The staff at Rome Loft is attentive and helpful.

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment. We find the location perfect: in Trastevere, a short walk from everywhere, but outside of the busiest parts. The area is quiet, the apartment delightfully relaxing; it is always a pleasure to return after a day walking Rome. The kitchen is perfectly adequate, the bathroom works well, we slept happily in the mezzanine bed. Definitely recommended.

When we arrived the cleaning was far not done. Maybe beacuse of this but specially the bedrooms (floors) were not clean. The apt. itself is quite humid, towels did not dry in 24 hours. Not bed, but compared to previous experiences we have been in better ones. And cleaning should have been done! Thank you, Reka

The apartment is beautifully furnished and well equipped. The location is superb - we were with easy walking distance of all the sights - didn\'t take a bus or metro in 5 days! The only negative is that you do hear the road - but ear plugs resolved that! Would definitely return.

The shower and hot water could be a lot better. Dishes, glassware and kitchen utensils, etc. are a \'mixed bag\' of well used items. This apartment is better than that. Only problem we had was on checkout. I thought I had confirmed by replying to your email a car transfer to the airport but I guess there was a miscommunication. When I called in to the office to enquire while standing out of the street waiting, there was no attempt to be helpful. It was \'Here\'s the phone number to call a cab and good luck to you.\' That was not my overall experience with Rome Lofts which had been, up to that point, very helpful and efficient.

Mr. Jim Lillis stayed at Orso house apartment Up to 4 people
The Orso House apartment is in a perfect neighborhood. River is one block away, Novano Square within 5 minute walk where musicians and artists perform daily/nightly. Four restaurants that were recommended to us before the trip were within walking distance, and tons of other eating possibilities were right there. Coffee, gelato, and interesting shops were all nearby. The apartment building is old, nicely preserved, safe, and quiet. The apartment includes two bedroom/two bath with very comfy beds and bathrooms that are updated and very clean. Showers in both baths are very good with lots of water pressure. Living area has very comfortable seating (two couches) and the entire apartment is well lit which was very nice. A #4 rating for facilities pertains to the kitchen. We ate meals out, so we didn\'t use the small kitchen for cooking. There was a nice refrigerator, a stove, cooking utensils and pots/pans, silverware, glasses and plates. One could easily fix breakfast and lunch there, but it wasn\'t really a draw for us. We had no contact with staff during our stay except for a young man who met us there on arrival. He did an adequate job of explaining the apartment and building workings, but we never had to call anyone re. questions, so it\'s hard to know if staff would be responsive. We did not use the television, which in our past experience of renting apartments, is one of the most difficult areas to understand and get informed about. he Orso House apartment was ideal for us, and we would certainly seek to rent it again for future trips to Rome.

This is our third visit to this unit, and each time we have had water-related issues. This time the plant irrigation system failed (requiring a caretaker visit), the water went off entirely once, and there were two issues with the toilet, each requiring a plumber to correct. Responsiveness of the on-site staff was in all cases good, but at this price we shouldn\'t have to experience repeated issues like this.

The location could not be better and the apartment is great. Would be nice to have a few U.S. news stations on the tv. The hot water kept shutting-off and had to be reset at the gas panel. Needs to be repaired. Water in shower drains very slow. Other than these items the apartment was perfect very clean and well equipped. Check-in was easy as were your terms and conditions. Will definitely choose Rome Lofts for our next visit to Rome.

The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. It has great views and nice lighting. The decor was refreshing and modern. The kitchen and bathroom were well appointed and functional. However, although the linens and bedding were of nice quality, the bed itself was way too soft. The mattress itself did not lend well to the thick feather bed on top. Even with the feather bed removed, the mattress was much too soft. I wanted so bad to love the whole unit because of how cute and nice it was, but the mattress needs an upgrade. The other thing to keep in mind is the 71 stairs leading up to it. We loved the exercise and were rewarded with the bright sunny unit and views, but it may not be good for everyone. Lastly, earplugs are a must as the restaurant below is quite lively until the wee hours. This overall was not an issue for us for the most part. Overall, with a mattress upgrade, we would love to go back.

The staff at RomeLoft were amazing, they responded to every email right away and went out of their way to help me out. The car service to and fro the airport was wonderful worth a few extra euros. The apartment is beautiful and the bed very comfortable. We did not use the kitchen but it is very nice. The artwork is stunning. The apartment is quite even though it is in a busy neighborhood.. lots of good restaurants to choose from. For us the third floor walk up was a lot ( my husband had a bad knee) three floors are actually six sets of stairs. But I totally recommend this company.

The apartment was as described online but a little sparse in terms of furniture for the living area. We request a sofa as there were just two small arm chairs and a plastic side chair. We rented the apartment for four months and would have thought these basic comforts would have been provided on arrival. Instead we had to several weeks before the sofa was delivered and the same for the microwave oven. Apart from this the staff have all been very polite, responsive and helpful. Thank you.

We generally enjoyed the apartment with its beautiful ambiance and comfort. The handover of keys went very smoothly - with the staff member responsible being on time. However, as I explained previously, there were a couple of problems. I had asked for two beds but only one was made up and no spare sheets were available. A staff member arranged for a maid to come the next day and make up a bed - and we appreciated that. We couldn\'t work out how to use the stove - and rang the contact person for assistance. He didn\'t know how to use the stove. And when we eventually worked it out the next morning,it turned out that only one of the burners was working anyway. I believe the staff member I contacted has been reported it so that it can be fixed. Thanks to Juliana who sorted these things out for us.

The apartment was very nice. It was in a great location. Just had to walk out to a number of bars and restaurants. Also, was not very far from all the attractions in Rome itself. There was just one thing that was not the best which was a constant drip from an adjoining air conditioner that dripped non stop on the metal roof located just outside the bedroom window. That made it difficult to sleep sometimes.

The apartment is attractive and spacious. It is well modernised in an old building. We were two friends so we were able to have a bathroom each. The hot water was somewhat intermittent but adequate. The beds and rooms are comfortable and the apartment is quiet as it is high up above the street noise; the a/c worked well, too. Be prepared for the stairs from the street door - there are 50, and they are not easy steps as they are stone (and old)! The location is very good as there are many cafes and restaurants close by and lovely shops in via dei Coronari. It is also easy to walk to the piazza Navona and other popular tourist spots. We didn’t cook a meal but the cooker would be fine if you wanted. The apartment was very good for a weekend stay.

This is a wonderful apartment in the heart of Rome with everything in walking distance. Everything worked out perfect. The friendly and funny driver met us at the airport and took us directly to the doorstep (although 55€ for the trip is 9 € more than the authorities allow for taxis from the citycenter to airport Fiumicino, but I didn\'t know that upon booking. and of course it was very comfortable to be met at the gate with a name tag and not having to search for the official taxi stands...). In the meantime the driver had informed the key holder, who met us in front of the house. He swiftly showed us the amenities, cashed the rest of the rent and the tourist tax and left us to marvel at the beautiful apartment with its antique ceilings and beautiful atmosphere. 3 Towels per Person, soap, shampoo, kitchen basics, everything was there. There could have been some more water glasses in the kitchen, and the kitchen could have been a bit cleaner, but that wasn\'t a real problem. Overall we felt totally at home and it was a perfect stay. I can highly recommend \"Navona stylish apartment\" and the services of Romeloft. Thanks to the team. Looking forward to our next stay in the most beautiful city of the world.

Our second time staying in this apartment and we loved it as much as the first: the layout and facilities are very pleasing (practically and aesthetically); the two terraces and their views of st Peters and the city are spectacular; and all the Rome Loft staff, from booking to receiving us the day we arrived, are helpful, attentive to detail and kind. The location meant that everything we wanted to see was walkable, yet we were able to retreat to quietness each evening. The supermarket directly across the street was great and, for the second time, we fell in love with the restaurant just around the corner (Il Sorpasso). Only criticism: the bed is very hard, but we still hope to return in the future.

The location of the Campo Marzio apartment is excellent. We walked to all the major sites and enjoyed lovely meals close to the apartment. Was a pleasure to work with the Rome Loft staff--they were very responsive to emails and helped us book arrival and departure private transfers, which worked very well. The apartment is not luxurious but it is adequate. The A/C worked well and we took advantage of the clothes washer. The shower is small but worked. The kitchen is tiny but we only made coffee, so not a problem. The apartment is on a back street so was not noisy and was very secure. The elevator is tiny--we used it only to transport luggage. The rest of the time we used the stairs--only one flight. Overall, a very good experience.

This is my second time with Romeloft and I am very happy with the service. The taxi pickup from the airport was particularly good, took the stress out of arrival.the taxi driver phoned the person dealing with the apartment and did not leave us until he was there. I loved the style of the apartment, which was much nicer than a bland hotel room. The roof terrace was also a bonus. The location was ideal, within walking distance of attractions. The only drawback was the four flights of stairs - I did know about these but they were sometimes a struggle when coming back hot and tired Not for the fainthearted, however I did think it was worth it. The online description was accurate. Overall I was very happy with the apartment and would definitely use Romeloft again

I have always stayed in hotels when traveling but this time I happened to find Rome loft and liked the look of the apartment. I have been to Rome before but this time it was extra special as I was taking my two grown up sons to see Rome with me for the first time. It was perfect and we all felt completely at home which made the short break, it was a lovely place to come back to after a busy days sightseeing. To flop into the comfy sofas have a drink and relax. The apartment had everything we could possibly need a real home from home but so clean comfortable and beautifully positioned, just a step away from friendly restraints and the famous Piazza Navona just 10 mins by foot. I can’t recommend this apartment highly enough, it’s not fussy or glamorous but homely and comfortable and so very Italian. I will definitely be back with boys again in the near future for a very special weekend in beautiful Rome. Thank you Rome loft for a great break that we will remember.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and in the heart of Rome historical centre. It is spacious and comfortable. The master bedroom is on the main street and might get a bit of noise from the traffic, but we were not bothered by it and with the windows closed is barely noticeable. The second bedroom overlooks a quiet backyard. The flat has also a lift, which is great if you travel with heavier suitcases. The kitchen is small but has everything you need to cook a meal. There is also a wide selection of DVDs if you want to stay in and watch a movie. This is our second stay in this flat and we loved it!

Mrs. Lisa stayed at Trevi comfortable terrace apartment Up to 4+2 people
Our family of six spent three nights in this unit last week. As a first time visitor to Rome, I can say that this unit was fantastic! The location is amazing (steps to major sites, transit, etc, plus a grocery store located at the base of the building, and a cafe right across the street). The unit is so close to the Trevi fountain, that we were able to visit it morning, noon and night...made for some great pics when the crowds were smaller. The unit is much larger than I thought it would be - it is very spacious, and nicely decorated. The two washrooms, washer and dryer, sleeping areas, etc are great for a larger group. There are piles of books about Rome in the unit, which were enjoyable to read. The balcony and balcony seating was fantastic - we sat outside frequently, and enjoyed seeing the herbs and other plants, and looking over the rooftops. The kitchen is well appointed with all the basics. While we mainly used it for breakfast and night time snacks, it looked like every type of pot, dish, cup and utensil was available. One thing to note is that the unit is on the 5th floor - so there are quite a few steps to walk up and down. The pitch of the stairs is gentle though, so it is not a bad climb. There is an elevator which we used for getting our luggage up and down, but it is quite tiny by comparison to elevators at home. This wasn\'t a huge issue, and the tradeoff of the terrific location and spacious unit more than made up for the stairs. Lorenzo and his staff were all excellent. All of our questions were answered quickly, the checkin and checkout process was easy. We had an excellent trip and I would highly recommend this unit.

Simply the best city apartment we have rented to date. Smart, clean, well equipped, comfortable, quiet, roomy, loads of natural light, great roof terrace, safe and central enough to have all of Rome at a walking distance. What more can I say?! It\'s on the third floor and roof of the building, with only stairs up to the front door, so if you don\'t like stairs, then don\'t book. Otherwise, this is a fantastic apartment for 2 to 6 people. We went with our daughter (17) and she took the en-suite double room on the roof, while we took the master double on the main third floor. If we had brought our son, he could have had another double next to ours (with its own Juliet balcony) and we could either have shared the bathroom there or he could have used the one on the mezzanine above the kitchen. A little quirky setup then maybe but we loved it and it didn\'t matter because it was just the three of us anyway. Book it!

The residence is a very quiet oasis in a lively part of town, just a few min. away from the Spanish Steps. Great outside terrace. Fantastic restaurants and bars. Great organic market/restaurant around the corner, 24h supermarket and lots of little markets/stores close by. Gelato across the street! Great for shopping. Beautiful Villa Borghese in walking distance. I can highly recommend Valadier.

After booking on-line from Australia we were very pleased to meet the representative from RomeLoft awaiting our arrival on 21/7/18 at Via Vittoria 3, Roma. Apart from the initial stairs, having the lift to the apartment was fantastic. The apartment on initial inspection was clean, tidy and beautifully furnished. Apart from the TV not working, we were extremely happy with the amenities in the apartment. The balcony was fabulous for getting some fresh air and hanging clothes out. The bedrooms were well appointed with sufficient storage space as were the bathrooms (equipped with a European laundry). The showers do leak onto the bathroom floor but if you lay a towel out you can capture most of it. The kitchen and dining area had all the services you require and although I didn\'t cook whilst there, we did prepare food and found everything we were looking for. The shutters in the bedroom are fabulous especially when you\'re trying to get over your jet-lag and there was no noise from the street. The location of this apartment is perfect. Just off the corner of Via Del Corso, our street was relatively quiet with mostly locals utilising it to access their every-day lives. The street-scape is incredibly picturesque with beautiful architecture and historical buildings. There are plenty of places to eat, drink and shop including a small grocery shop 2 minutes up the street. It is within walking distance of most of the attractions of Rome including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Pantheon and a short train trip to the Vatican and Colosseum. We could not have been happier with this apartment and would highly recommend it to any traveller. We would love the opportunity to stay again at Via Vittoria 3. Thank you RomeLoft for your great customer service, especially in having a key cut at short notice, for maintaining the apartment and for the smooth running of your operation.

Well equipped apartment in great central location near Pantheon and via del Corso. On fifth floor with elevator and a final 18 steps up to the apartment - not a problem for us but might be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The apartment was comfortable and our check in experience and communication was excellent. The apartment was not particularly well cleaned. When my 21 year son elected to sleep on the sofa bed one night as the bed on the mezzanine is directly under the roof tiles and rather stuffy and hot, when we moved the rug to deploy the sofa bed these was a great deal of dirt and dust underneath. Bathroom likewise was a little grubby. Linen and towels were very clean and bed in main room was comfortable. The two air conditioners in the apartment struggled to cool the apartment in the heat of summer. Would happily stay in this apartment again outside summer as the location is terrific and private and the apartment is a cosy little place. Best suited for two adults as the sofa bed is not practical and took 10 minutes to set up as not easy to use and the mezzanine bed is only suitable for children.

Suggestion to the owner. Invest in furniture on a terrace. Repair the water drain in the kitchen.

The loft was perfectly located, easy to walk to all major sight seeing attractions. The loft has a very nice piazza with a panini place that had the best paninis in Rome. We travelled with two kids (10 and 13) and everyone was very happy with the loft and the setup. The AC works perfectly and beds were very comfortable. The loft has clear instructions around the apartment on managing your stay as well. The only negative is that there were a few ants by the main door, fireplace and under the window in the kitchen. A few ant traps and bug spray will get rid of the problem.

The flat itself is perfect for up to 3 couples (living room convertible sofa), but very enjoyable if only 2. Two bathrooms (showers). The location is simply perfect, being walking distance from many Roman landmarks (St Peter, piazza Navona, Pantheon, palazzo Altemps…) and at the same time remote from the noisy avenues full of cars. Nice shops, cafés and wine bars round the corner. Will try to rent it again next time I stay in Rome. NB: not exactly convenient for people who walk with difficulty, only a relatively narrow and steep flight of stairs to access the flat.

We had so much fun. We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids under 5) and this was perfect for us. The boys loved the location and exploring Rome. Being so close to the Trevi fountain was great, as was the walk to the Spanish steps. Having a grocery store at the bottom floor was priceless--as we were able to do meals in the apartments a few times (although there were many nearby restaurants).

What a fabulous apartment - quirky and bijou yet utterly charming and fully stocked with everything you might need. The array of books on Rome was particularly useful, as was the air conditioning. The bathroom is modern and the shower excellent; so lovely to have such a big window too.Terrace is small but a perfect spot for an al fresco breakfast or early glass of fizz before heading out to the delights of Trastevere. Even the climb up the stairs was all part of the charm and helped keep us fit and look forward to that terrace even more! Romeloft as a company are super efficient and reliable. From the driver appearing on time at the airport, to the meet and greet at the apartment and everything else, it all went like clockwork and we felt that if anything did need sorting out, they would be able to do it for us.Have recommended Romeloft to several people already and cannot praise you all highly enough. Thank you so much for an amazing stay in Rome for our anniversary!

The apartment was everything we had wanted and more. The terrace is perfect after a long day of walking, we spent most mornings and evenings there before we headed out.The apartment is spacious (there were 6 adults) and clean and has all the facilities you could need. The location was central to everything, which means you can walk to all of the main points of interest with ease. Travestere is a fantastic neighborhood to stay in, beautiful cobbled streets and great restaurants and bars ( has that authentic Italian feel ). We can\'t wait to come back next year.

This is really one of those apartments for a special occasion. It\'s not particularly \"up-scale\" but its position on this hill is really extraordinary. We celebrated a 50th Birthday here and it was perfect. We had a chef come in and cook for 8 of us up on the roof terrace and it was like being on a movie set - St. Peter\'s Basilica on one side, with the entire rest of the City on the other. The apartment feels spacious, practical and \"lived-in\". As some others have mentioned, the shower needs a little attention but it in no way detracts from this wonderful space. We have already recommended it to other friends and the only real down-side to this apartment was the fact we had to eventually leave it. We would have loved to stay even longer!

I told your representative that I had booked a car for the return journey but he said this had not been done so he ordered it for us. Good comment - when a new lock was put on the front door we told the rep that we needed new keys. He organised this really quickly.. Lorna Sharpe

I have passed a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment ! Me and my friends couldn\'t dreamed better for our trip in Rome, We all enjoyed so much the furnished and charming terrace for our evening, sharing an \"aperitivo\". We had all the comfort expected thanks to the 2 bedrooms. Also very well located in Trastevere We could enjoy the nightlife and still stay far from the noise of Trastevere. Well, I truly recommend this apartment !

excellent position and lovely flat with lots of light, central position and well- insulated against the street noise. There were just two hitches- there were two of us, and we needed extra pillow cases for the one sleeping on the sofa bed (and the pillows themselves were stained); and the hot water boiler only provided enough hot water for one bath. But otherewise the flat was immaculately clean, nice kitchen and bathroom, and nicely decorated.

This is a truly lovely apartment - small but very well designed. It has a trendy yet peaceful feel to it. Lovely large bathroom and shower. Bit of a strange, but comfortable, bed - could do with a fitted sheet over the soft mattress topper - and look out for the sign telling you where the sleeping pillows are! Luckily my husband spotted the sign telling us the pillows were hidden inside the decorative cushions on the bed:) The balcony is small but a great place to sit & look out over the rooftops and view the action in the alley below. Just a warning if you are going to be there over the weekend - and if this is something that bothers you - the noise from the surrounding alleys is rather loud till the wee hours of the morning. You also need to be reasonably fit & able to climb the stairs up to the apartment - but then again - that\'s what a trip to Italy is all about - lots of walking & stair climbing! Trastevere is definitely the area to stay in Rome - does not feel too touristy - has great bars & restaurants - and is popular with the local people. All in all we believe we made the best decision to stay in La Scala luxury terrace apartment in Trastevere!

The location is very convenient to Spanish Steps and shopping, if that\'s what you\'re looking for, extremely crowded if you like more secluded places. The design of the apartment is charming, layout food, and it\'s light and well air conditioned. The chairs in the living room need some attention as the bottoms are breaking. The bathroom is good; but the light is not great around the mirror, so difficult to shave for a man. The shower stall is good. The beds are good; but the pillows could be better and doubled.

Nice colourful appartment with lot of space for 4 persons. Maybe a bit dark because the window blind are closed to keep the sun out. The appartment is very well located, most of the sights to reach within short walks. Supermarket nearby. Unfortunately an aircondition is only to be found in the kitchen, not in the bedrooms! So in summer sleeping might be very hot.

We were very happy with how much space there was for our family. 4 adults and 2 kids. The 3 bedrooms were perfect, although the mattresses were hard. The terrace was a lovely space with wonderful views in all directions. The bathrooms were freshly remodeled but we were surprised that they weren\'t stocked with basic handsoap. Once in the Penthouse everything felt quite nice, but the entrance to the building was a bit drab and dark. Upon first entering we were nervous, but once we got up the 3 flights of stairs, we were very happy.

This is great apartment with the perfect location, no doubt! The apartment has everything you need. Not luxosrious but great. The only thing compared to a hotel is lack of hotel services as breakfast and staff at a desk - but if you rather make it on your own this is the choice. Coffee machine and small kitchen in the room. Groceries for breakfast etc just a minute walk away.

Based on other reviews, we had a few misgivings about this rental even before we booked it. We wish we had listened to our instincts. While the location is great and the terrace views are lovely, there are other apartments in Rome that are just as good and even better in terms of location and view. The apartment furniture is very worn, especially the sofa, which is simply dirty as is the stained headboard in one of the bedrooms. We didn\'t mind that the kitchen and bathrooms were small and out of date as much as we minded the fact that the entire apartment just seemed worn out. Even the towels and bed linens were thin and worn while the tiny bars of cheap soap were not of the quality we got in other European apartments we rented. It could be one of the nicest apartments in Rome but the owners need to invest some money in a thorough overhaul and cleaning. We were very disappointed and would not recommend this to others. There are better options out there.

Other reviews have noted that the loft space is best suited for a smaller child and is open to the bed below so the apartment is for younger families, not two couples. There is very little storage space in the bedroom, although there is a closet in the living room. There are some steps from the elevator to the apartment so would not be accessible for a wheelchair or walker. Some of the windows do not have coverings and those that do, the coverings do not block out the morning light. If you need total darkness to sleep, this may be a problem, but we were tired enough from our daily travels and dining that we had no problem sleeping even after the sun rose. For just two of us, the apartment worked very well. The space was comfortable with convenient appliances and equipment in the kitchen. We had a water leak in the kitchen and that was fixed promptly. We only used the kitchen for breakfast but had everything we needed. The service does not provide kitchen essentials, but others had left behind salt, pepper, sugar, tea, coffee, oil and vinegar. In the bathroom, there was hair conditioner snd we left a bottle of shampoo. The wifi worked much better than some places we have stayed. We had to buy additional garbage bags and left the remainder of the roll behind. It would be helpful to know what to do with recycling. We could not find the community bins in the area. Again, as others have noted and what must be emphasized is the wonderful location between the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. It is close to many popular sights but quiet for sleeping. There are innumerable good restaurants and cafes within easy walking distances, some within the piazza below. The Campo di Fiori markets are a 10 minute walk. The week we spent in Rome was the last week of our holidays and the apartment helped make it a memorable experience.

This unit was perfect fit for our needs. A fresh and cozy appartment with lots of charm, just as pitcutured in the photos. The porch area is half covered and protected from the elements. The other half is open air between buildings, very cozy. It’s the best of both worlds. Privacy on one side, open air to dry your clothes on the other. I did not pick this detail up in the photos.

We totally loved this apartment in an excellent location in Rome. The spectacular view speaks for itself (even the best pictures on this site don\'t do it justice) - it is indeed breathtaking! We were also pleasantly surprised by the super nice location. Easy walking distance to Trastevere, The Vatican, Campo di Fiori, and much much more. Even with our 5 and 8 years old boys. Top tip: There\'s an OPR (https://www.operaromanapellegrinaggi.org/en/roma-cristiana/open-bus) hop-on / hop-off bus stop just two minutes walk from the apartment at Piazza dell\'Oro. Very handy.

Your driver who met us at the airport and took us back on our return was prompt, charming and very good. Nissar was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived and showed us everything and was very welcoming and nice. The location was perfect as was the apartment. The second bathroom could do with a bit of an upgrade and it would have been nice to have had a blanket on the beds although it was hot a sheet was not quite enough. Being able to leave our bags in the apartment after 10.30am on day of departure until the 1.30pm pick up was a real bonus. This was our second visit to a Romeloft apartment and we were very happy with everything and would definately recommend your services to others - as indeed we have already.

This is a lovely apartment. It is at loft level, so the ceiling can be low in places. But it is furnished tastefully and comfortably. There are two large comfy sofas in the living room-dining room. There is a separate breakfast room, kitchen, entry, laundry room and two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room has a large dining table and the breakfast room had a nice table! Wow for a rental. We were there for about six weeks. It was “home”. The rental included weekly cleaning, which included changing sheets and towels, essential if you are using the small washing machines common in Italy. A separate laundry room is very unusual and this was much appreciated as well as a clothes rack. We also used the radiators for quick drying. Heat worked very well. We were there in March and April, so I can’t speak about air-conditioning. It was very clean and well provisioned. The main bedroom is large. The bed appears to be a designer bed and the mattress was comfortable. The main bath is large. The bathtub has a shower but no curtain and is handheld so we didn’t use it, unfortunately. The second bathroom has a shower. It is quite small and the shower head needs to be replaced. The shower doesn’t spray evenly. The only bad thing about the apartment is that the main bath has a nasty sewer smell most of the time. It must not be vented properly. We notified the management who said the owner would come by but nothing changed. Maybe it can’t be fixed. We opened the window in this bathroom and tried to ignore it. It would be nice if the owner would provide nice table linens to go with the generally high quality of everything else. There is an elevator that always worked. The apartment is at the top of the palazzo dell’enciclopedia Italiana, a building which is mostly offices, but not on our floor. There are several major bus lines within a block. Plus it is on the edge of the Jewish Quarter in Rome and very near all sort of ruins, museums, shopping, etc. You can’t find a better location. The Campo di Fiori and the Piazza Navarro are nearby. Around the corner on Via Florida, is a pizza restaurant that is to die for. They have so many kinds and a large variety that are either hot out of the oven or they will heat them up for you for eating right there or for take-out. A Coop grocery store is a block and a half away and is adequate for most grocery needs. Cross Via Florida, go one block continuing straight past the ruins of the Torre Argentina (where Caesar was killed), turn right, and you’ll see it soon. Eat in the Jewish Quarter. Go right out the front door and follow the narrow road then the pedestrian path for about 2.5 blocks and you’ll find lots of restaurants. To the right, we loved the restaurant Beppo e i suoi formaggi. To the left, try Bella Carne. Before you get to the street with the Jewish restaurants, you’ll come to a tiny piazza, with a Bellini fountain known as the fontana della torturuga. Turn left there and walk several blocks along an alley-like street to Ristorante Vecchio Roma, pricy but delicious. The massive monument to Victoria Emmanuele is just a few blocks down Via Florida, the Forum, Capitoline Hill and the museums nearby. The Coliseum just a little further on.

Easy communication and nice airport pick up on the day of our arrival. The apartment is in a great location and well outfitted. Our kids slept on the pull out couch and found it very comfortable. Despite being in the middle of everything the apartment is very quiet in terms of noise from outside. Since it is a ground floor apartment there was the noise of the people above us, but that is city living. Over all a great place to stay in Rome.

The location and size of the apartment are fantastic but the photos do not correspond with the quality that we have found. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for the four poster bed creaked every time they moved and the pillows needed updating. The air conditioning on the top floor only blew cold air for what is in this era. The bathrooms need an urgent reform because they are in the conditions and are very old especially the two smaller ones. The fact that two of the showers are cortical is quite unhygienic and gives a musty smell to the horrible bathroom. We request that there be soaps in the bathroom and a sedative and the only thing that has left us are the soap bars and the hands and the dryer can not be plugged into the current. The hot water for the showers was limited to an amount that for 7 people was sometimes fair and had just operated with cold water. The cleaning in general of the whole apartment was unfortunate, but it was stuck to the wood every time it left something on it and it did not leave us even a tablecloth to put on. The ground is covered by a kind of esparto carpet and in some pieces it is perforated. The kitchen was quite well equipped, although you miss them in microwave. The apartment did not have any kind of detail that indicates that the owner puts a little love and good service to what he is offering.

The mezzanine floor lacks height so you end up with a hunched back after a while. The furniture is very shabby and doesn\'t match. The carpets need renewed as there are holes in them throughout. The cupboards are full of crap not having any reason to be there in a rented apartment. The main kitchen lacks a table near to the sockets for the coffee maker. The other kitchen\'s fridge is broken. The electrics are dodgy as hell and there is insufficient anything for the number of people it claims to be able to accommodate. I\'ve used Rome Lofts every other year for the past 10 years. They have really gone downhill and I won\'t be using them again. They really need to take a look at what they are providing and invest in their properties or many more, like our group, will walk away.

Great location for central Rome. Good use of space, a kitchen we barely used apart from kettle and washing machine. The open plan living bedroom area worked well for us. Good storage. Comfortable beds and a terrace which weather permitting we would have sat out on more. Welcome Staff arranged a replacement key for us within 30mins-impressive! The loft is not for the fainthearted or physically inactive-there is a small lift and /or lots of stairs. I struggled getting the shower hot enough most days. I think a wee freshen up of decor and furnishings and I would have given it 5\'s in my rating. The sofa looks grubby, the floor gets dirty quickly and there was nothing to wash it with. Two mugs one chipped..... There are no smoke alarms-maybe not used in Italy but 6 floors up I would have been happier with one!

As a couple we stayed at this apartment for 3 nights in Feb 2018. We have visited Rome many times in the past 25 years at various apartments and hotels. We can honestly say this is the best accomodation that we\'ve ever enjoyed in the Eternal City. The location in the Spagna-Condotti neighbourhood is unbeatable for convenience and amenity. It\'s a great spot for shopping, sightseeing and dining out. There\'s a very handy supermarket nearby, a fantastic cafe on the next corner and a Metro station within a 3 minute walk. The apartment itself is inside a 19th entry building and is in beautifully renovated condition, but with much of the historic decoration intact. The size of the apartment is simply amazing, with a generous entry hall, large well-equipped laundry (seperate Miele washer and dryer), a well-equipped medium-sized modern kitchen, large seperate dining room and two double bedrooms.There\'s also a very stylish and comfortable lounge room with a high-quality large-size Samsung television. The bedrooms each have ample wardrobe areas and very generous bathrooms. There is hydronic heating throughout the apartment and also reverse-cycle heating-cooling in the lounge room and each of the bedrooms. The beds and bedding are of high quality, with firm mattresses and very comfortable manchester and pillows. Although the weather was too cold in Feb to take advantage, we were also impressed by the two outdoor terrace areas. One very small one that could allow a couple to enjoy breakfast outside, and a much larger terrace at the rear that could easily accomodate a dinner party for 8-10 people. Any criticism of this apartment is quite difficult. We arrived during very cold weather in Rome, and found that the Hydronic heating worked very well - but it was programmed to shut off for much of the day - it\'d bee better if we could control this ourselves. The apartment is on the first floor above street level, so it\'s just one flight of stairs. This is an important issue when travelling with luggage as there\'s no elevator in the building. Because you are closer to the main entrance - you might get a little bit of noise (as we did) when residents come and go late at night - but overall it\'s very quite, peaceful and relatively private. We can\'t wait to visit again. Anna & Brendan MELBOURNE Australia

Apartment 5 - in the small shower room next to the kitchen there is a leak possibly from the sink that left a substantial amount of water on the floor in the corner where the bin stands. This looked as though it had been there for some time as the bin was stained, we had to leave a towel on the floor to mop up the water. One of the lamps beside the bed in the bedroom did not work. In the bedroom the carpet at the bottom of the bed on one side is wearing and a trip hazard. The work top around the kitchen sink was in very poor condition. One cup and one plate were both chipped which is unhygienic. There is also a noticeable smell on entering the apartment. I only mention the above issues as they may not have been previously reported and need attention.

A great location for night time as lots of places to eati and drinki with lots going on and it\'s within a 30 minute walk from most of the famous sights.Thiugh a taxi rank is 2 minutes away if you\'re feeling lazy. Lovely apartment and very spacious and even had a little inside terrace. The bars stay open until at least 3am so there is some noise at night but this did not bother us at all. We arranged an airport taxi through the agency which was very efflcient and reliable so we\'d definitely recommend. The apartment is touch/sight clean but I feel it needs a bit of a deep clean but bedding and towels were pristine. My only gripe was being given only 1 set of keys for a family of six persons. Another set or two would have been handy. My advice would be to look around for eating places as prices vary vastly. There\'s a fabulous deli 5 minutes away which opens early morning, it serves a great selection of croissants and coffees, because if you\'re an early riser there\'s not much open in the morning in Travestere.

This was a great apartment for my family of 6. It is near the Trevi but an oasis from the tourist crowds offering an authentic taste of living in Rome. It is full equipped in the kitchen and living areas, beautifully decorated rooms with high ceilings and quality linen. The location, quality of fit out, bathrooms and facilities made this a wonderful holiday place to base our adventures of Rome. We would love to stay again and would highly recommend the place and the way in which we were helped with every enquiry and welcomed into the apartment. Thanks again

This was the second time I stayed in this apartment. This time I was with my husband, daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. The apartment was perfect for us because my husband and I could be somewhat separate in the upstairs bedroom. We could not enjoy the terraces because it was winter, but last time, we ate outside. The furnishings are worn but comfortable. Although the apartment is not modern or in perfect condition, it feels homey and warm.

My partner, my son and I have stayed at this apartment in December 2017. The apartment is even prettier in reality than in the pictures. I\'m meticulous about cleanliness and tidiness and I had nothing to comment on, it was just as I would have liked to receive it – very clean and very tidy. We loved the décor, and the fact that it was spacious, quiet and really cozy, the perfect place to come home to after a long day of sightseeing and shopping in Rome. The beds were really comfortable, we slept very well, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Another important factor about this apartment is the perfect location – central, within 2 minute walk from Via del Corso and the Spanish Steps. The street itself is beautiful and picturesque, as are the other streets around it, filled with little stores, restaurants and cafes, as well as a small supermarket and a pharmacy right in front of our building. It was lively until midnight, which was great as we could have a coffee or a meal downstairs whenever we wanted, and yet all this liveliness wasn\'t disturbing at all inside, because the apartment faces an inside yard so it\'s absolutely quiet and peaceful inside. Lorenzo and the other staff members of RomeLoft.com were very nice and helpful before and during our stay, and I will definitely return to this charming apartment.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. A luxurious spacious apartment. We felt privileged to have rented this lovely apartment. The beds were extremely comfortable! The bath though deep does not have a working jacuzzi. The first day we came the hand held shower broke in the master bathroom and was promptly fixed by the time we came home from our touring. Bright apartment with high ceilings, Windows throughout and adequate heating that we could control in each room. This is such a special building! At times we felt as if we were the only ones living in this apartment building that has 2 floors below ours of private library! The elevator is unique! Centrally located, around the corner from the Jewish Ghetto, a few minutes walk to the Camp de Fiori, Navona, etc. Markets in the early morning and night life in the evening. We were made to feel comfortable and secure and our service from checking in to hiring a cab was taken care of promptly. Would definitely recommend!

We appreciate \'real Rome\'. We like being located so the people, the routines, the foods, the sights and sounds envelop us. The little apartment, indeed, this entire area of Campo dei Fiori is just what we want. This apartment is very simple, which suits us. We like the burble of the street noise outside our windows. We like the Campo dei Fiori locale because we can walk everywhere. Rome Loft makes sure everything we need is arranged, so we would use them again and again, even when we come back with a larger group and in a different apartment. Best in the business.

We loved the Trastevere bright apartment for our six-night stay in Rome. It\'s in the middle of a neighborhood brimming with restaurants, wine bars, gelato shops and more (we never had to leave Trastevere in the evenings in order to have lovely dining experiences). The apartment is also very well located for sightseeing; it\'s barely a two-minute walk to Ponte Garibaldi, so it\'s a quick trip over the Tiber to get to many major attractions, including the Roman Forum and Campo de\' Fiori (it\'s about a 15-minute walk to the Capitoline Hill area, which we did several times). The apartment itself is, in fact, very bright and spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Booking with RomeLoft was seamless, and they answered all my questions promptly.

The ONLY complaint we have is the extra taxes charged by Romeloft. We ALL believe that the phase \"All taxes and fees\" on the detailed summary from AirBandB meant ALL taxes and fees. This was NOT the case as we had to contribute additional fees. Otherwise this was an excellent rental and an excellent location.

We had a lovely four-night stay in this wonderful, spacious and atmospheric loft apartment in Trastevere. We were in awe of the historical feel of the apartment with its mezzanine, old stone columns, and wooden-beamed ceilings throughout. The apartment had all we needed and more. The modern kitchen is well-equipped and the contemporary bathrooms are supplied with an array of toiletries. The towels were wonderfully soft and felt new, and the linens throughout were perfect. Uniquely decorated with lots of little ornamental touches, atmospheric lamps and candles, the apartment offered a very unique experience and felt just right for the beautiful, historic city we were visiting. The terrace, although small, is pretty with lovely views over the rooftops. The location was ideal for sightseeing, with the Colosseum, Forum, Palatine Hill, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and so much more just across the Tiber. St Peter\'s, the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel are on the same side as Trastevere. Visiting the sights by day and returning to Trastevere to dine in one or other of its cheerful, buzzy restaurants in the evening worked well for us. The Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere is one of the oldest churches in Rome. It has fabulous mosaics and a wonderfully ornate ceiling, and was a delight to visit. Dealing with Romeloft was easy, with all questions answered promptly. Our return transfers were organised through Romeloft and cost €65 each way for a family of five (parents with three adult children). We found this service reliable and the drivers were courteous. All in all, our Rome break was an absolute joy!

My boyfriend and I stayed in this apartment for one week this past November (2017). We were greeted at the gate by a very friendly staff member who brought us up to the loft and gave us all of the information we needed for the week. He and the rest of the staff made themselves available by text and email in case we had any questions throughout the week. The location of this apartment is great! Via Margutta is such a beautiful quiet street and conveniently located near lots of great sights. I would highly recommend this apartment! It is spacious and bright and very comfortable. It’s the perfect location for your “home base” while you explore the city.

Elegantly furbished apartment in a perfect location. The only slight drawback is the fact that the place is most of the time in the shadow, being at the first floor. This\"negative\" point during the fall or the winter is however a major asset during the hot season from may trough september. In spite of this, I can only warmly recommend this fantastic place!

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The location is ideal. The apartment was large enough for our group of four adults and one child. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The towels and linens provided were clean and plentiful. The bedrooms were nicely furnished and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The utility room was convenient to have. All of the little touches like tea and coffee in the kitchen, soaps and shampoos in the bathroom, and detergents in the laundry were very thoughtful and made our stay easy. Check in was a breeze and extra features ordered (baby cot, transfer service from airport) were helpful and worthwhile. We would stay at this apartment again and recommend to anyone visiting Rome.

We were happy enough with everything about the hotel, but were extremely disappointed with being charged 25 Euro cash for checking in on a Sunday (17th September - 22nd September). There is nowhere that mentioned this. We understand the tourist tax 3.50 pp/pn and check in fee within the hours listed (8;30pm -10am) but we can\'t see where it says anything about 25 Euro for checking in on a Sunday. Very unimpressed when we get hit up for 25 Euro cash the moment we check in! Also, the same guy told us to put our room rubbish around the back of hotel and another hotel guy got angry with us for doing that. We told our contact and he said it was ok, he would talk to him about it. Also, when the contact arrived and asked for 25 Euro, he was in such a rush to leave that we never even got around to asking about the air-con and it wasn\'t working when we tried to use it. We messaged him and he said he would send someone out, no one turned up, we messaged him again and someone turned up. It turned out it just wasn\'t plugged in. If he waited a few minutes after we checked in he would have known this and fixed it for us when we tried to turn it on. Also, he was in such a rush he messed up the charge for the room on his payment machine, then a few days later said we had to meet him back at the room to redo the payment, we waited 3 hours for him, he didn\'t turn up so we went out again, then he turned up a few hours later. Basically, we were happy with the room etc but were very disappointed with being charged to check in on a Sunday and also with having to be available to fix things that should have been fixed when we checked in.

location for some one who want to spend few days in the center of most beautiful city - can\'t be better - apartment very comfy - good equipmed (some tea spoon would be pleased) kitchen, bathroom - very good - welcome after hours possible, but very chaotic, lack of explanation details, some plans of Rome, guide would be nice as well to make it better, lack of storage place if your flight is late ( there is option- 15 minutes by taxi one way - 4 Euro per piece - but if you have booked your pick up transportation from this address ... ) no privileges regarding late check in or check out, pictures attached as a presentation showing trance with view of Rome - but do not exist ... pity - again - overall very good experience about this apartment

The little cation right outside the Campo Di Fiori was great. However every morning at 6:20 the carts would start rolling and rattling outside and the single pane windows did not deminish the sounds. Also at night the restaurant and bar sounds kept up till 10:30. But besides the noise the apartment was very nice. Good value. Great Wi-Fi- made streaming possible. Again good location for the market and restaurants and getting around Roma. Uber and taxis very available.

The apartment was quite large and could sleep 5 comfortably. It\'s in a piazza off of the Corso and the traffic is quite noticeable when the windows are open. The terrace was very nice and quiet. There are 3 restaurants below the flat. There\'s an exhaust fan from a restaurant running up the back of the building next door that runs from early am till 11:30 pm. Some cooking odors were noticeable from it depending on the time of day. The kitchen was small but adequately appointed. There\'s a small bathroom off of the kitchen and terrace level. The flat had 2 levels and a flight of steps as soon as you enter the flat from the doorway. There are 2 flights of stairs before you reach the flat. Not bad unless you have a lot of luggage. I wouldn\'t recommend it for small children due to all of the stairs in the flat. The beds were just ok, a little more padding would have helped a lot. One of the shower doors was only attached at the top which made it difficult to move. The location is great. It\'s a short walk to the campo di fiore , the pantheon and piazza navonna. Overall I had a very pleasant experience.

This was our second stay in this Romeloft apartment, which is so centrally located right near the Pantheon and yet provides a tranquil retreat from the sight-seeing crowds. The apartment is light and generally very comfortable. It was a good size for our family of 4 and our children enjoyed the novelty of sleeping in the bed that is built into the mezzanine. We ate out frequently - the Osteria dell\'Ingegno just downstairs is really good - but we also appreciated the option of being able to shop for fresh ingredients and prepare meals. As such, it would be helpful to have lids for all of the pots/saucepans provided, but this was a relatively minor inconvenience. Our dealings with all Romeloft staff were extremely positive and we would definitely book through Romeloft again when we next visit.

Very nice apartment in a fabulous location. Turn right outside the front door and you will be in front of the Pantheon in less than 5 minutes. Turn left and the Trevi Fountain is under 10 minutes. We walked to Vatican City in about 25. The little deck is nice to have although we didn\'t use it as much as I thought we would. The living area is very comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with plates, pots and pans even paper napkins, plastic wrap, coffee and tea (left by others so you might not be so lucky). The bathroom is a bit unusual as it has a glass door, however the toilet is down the wall so only the sink is visible through the door. Still, it might be a little disconcerting to some. The shower has decent water pressure and the towels are large. The loft is accessed by a set of stairs as you enter the bedroom and is fully open to the bedroom so there isn\'t any privacy. Not an issue for a couple but if traveling with a third person it might be. We ordered a car for our early morning flight through Rome Loft and they were there right in time. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay and we highly recommend the apartment!

Apartment is very nice, well equipped, good instruction sheets for water heater & recycling (could have used one for washer), great location (half mile to Spanish steps and Metro, supermarket nearby, easy walking to river, Pantheon, Trevi) very happy overall. Check in was miserable: We arrived in Rome on a beautiful sunny day after an easy train ride from Florence, ready to get settled and see the city. I had texted to the contact number the night before with train schedule and estimated time of arrival. I received a response so I thought communication had been established although I didn\'t actually call. Texted again as we left Termini in a taxi at 1:30 and again received a response, the ride took about 15 minutes so we arrived at exactly the estimated time I had texted the night before. When we arrived at the address we assumed we\'d have to wait little while as the directions asked for a call 30 minutes before arriving. I was about to text again at 2:00 when I received an email saying \"In 5 minutes I will be in front of the apartment\". When I texted \"Is there any hope?\" at 2:25 again I was reassured, \"On the way\". It wasn\'t too long after that when a person appeared. When we expressed our displeasure at the long wait, he berated us for not calling to confirm arrival, he had no idea when we were arriving other than a rough time of 2:00 I had given when I booked the apartment. We showed him our string of texts and he said that was a random person in the office who was responding to us, As it turned out the random person was Nissar who was listed as the person to meet us in the confirmation letter, he was not the person who met us. It was not handled well and we were no longer the happy tourists we had been an hour ago. The magic of Rome helped to erase the bad feelings, but I have to say that this was our 5th private rental of our trip (4 others through airbnb) and all the others had gone quite smoothly. Everything else great, but don\'t expect to be greeted upon arrival.

Extremely large apartment looking over Piazza Farnese. Close to Campo De\' Fiori and several great restaurants. Great apartment. The only downside is the lock at the front door to the property. After a free of jiggling the keys we managed to master it but I think it needs replacing. Other than that great stay.

All communication with RomeLoft has been very good and they were so very helpful to us when my friend got ill. They arranged our airport transfer which was prompt and trouble free with a fantastic driver who was full of advise and tips. We were met at the apartment and given all the info we needed. The apartments have a small lift which is rare and being on the 5th floor, was much appreciated! I can not stress how great the apartments fantastic location is. It is within easy walk of ALL Roman sites. The apartment rooms are all spacious, its big! 1 of the bedrooms has no air-con but there is a fan and we were just fine. Bathrooms were great too, showers a little compact for a larger person to use. The terrace was very big, plenty of seating and of course SO great with stunning views. Being mid-September though the sun didn\'t make it on it till about 5pm, but with so much to see and do in Rome you aren\'t there to sunbath! We would definitely recommend staying here and using RomeLoft.

The apartment is very comfortable , with all the facilities including air conditioning, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a 24 hour supermarket a three walk away. The area has plenty of eateries. All the major sites of Rome are within walking distance of the apartment or a metro station is a four minute walk. Highly recommend this apartment

Apartment is lovely. Staff are really helpful. Transfer to airport brilliant. Fridge in one kitchen wasn\'t working and although we were promised an engineer but no one turned up. Also the shower in the ensuite bathroom overflowed. However thank you for making our stay so enjoyable it was a special time for us as we had a family wedding in Rome. We would definitely return and recommend this aparatment.

The appartement is really in the heart of Rome - perfectly located and near to all sightseeing points and many shops. Main attractions in Rome can be reached by walking, Underground station really close. The best you get for this price. Only the kitchen equipment could be enlarged - it is difficult, if you plan to eat at home or just make breakfast (tea cups, tea pot, more cuttlery, cutting board and glasses would be helpful).

This is a great apartment. Nice and roomy. Close to the Vactican. On a pedestrian street. Close to Piazza Novona and other tourist attractions . Only disadvantage is the 3 flights of stairs and no lift but we were aware of this when we booked . Two suggestions. More information in English re the re-cycling of rubbish. Also at least one English TV news station would be great However I would recommend this apartment to friends and would stay again

The apartment was a charming introduction to Rome. It had a lovely quirky character and layout. We came to learn that the location is quite ideal to everything and we walked everywhere except the train station. The space was wonderful for our family of four with two large teenagers. The air conditioning was very good throughout. The extra blankets and comforters were useful. We did not get to use the terrace much because of the heat but it would be a lovely addition in the spring or Fall for coffee/supper. The restaurant right below the apartment was charming and Campo dei Fiori had everything you needed so close by. The beds were not as soft as we would like but not a deal breaker. The air conditioning was much more important. the WIFI was also good according to my kids. I would definitely book this apartment again when in Rome.

We had a great time at the apartment and in Rome. We are a family of 5 with 3 older teenagers and there was lots of room in the apartment for everyone. Loved the old wooden beams along the ceilings and windows overlooking the city rooftops. Very nice layout and decorating. Excellent location midway between the Colesseum and Vatican near Campo di Fiori market. Staff were friendly and helpful. They arranged pickup and drop off at the airport. Thank you very much for your hospitality. Hope we can return again. Dan & Janet

The apartment was exactly as described. The view and terrace were among the highlights of our stay. The apartment is comfortable, the aircons great and the bathroom really different and we did not find it smelly. The Internet was fine in the lounge/dining room area. We did not find the stairs to be a problem. They are wide and easily climbed. The staircase is well lit, with light switches on the stairs outside every door on climbing up or down. Overall, we loved it here and felt so at home and would recommend staying here. The owner, who lives next door, is the sweetest man and gave us great advice on where to eat and so on without being interfering at all. While Rome is very touristy, the old Ghetto is just perfect for getting that village feel. We had our best food experiences here too. Communication with Lorenzo was really good and professional.

The rooms were large and comfortable. While the bathrooms could be updated, the kitchen facilities, air conditioning, and rooms were excellent. We were there for two weeks and had a few special needs and the Rome loft people were better than excellent, from the driver who picked us up, to the young man who met us and showed us the apartment, to the young man who cleaned when we were leaving. If 5 is the highest score, we give the Rome loft personnel a 10. They did everything to make our stay comfortable!

Despite the fact that a canceled connecting flight made us miss one of the three nights we\'d booked at this beautiful Piazza Navona area apartment, our stay was outstanding! The airport pickup was seamless and the driver was charming, the apartment was JUST as advertised, with excellent air conditioning and wifi, in a PERFECT location. That it was so lovely made us doubly sorry we\'d missed one of our three nights there. The furnishings in the apartment were VERY comfortable and charming and we would definitely stay there again and be happy to do business with RomeLoft for future trips. The staff was so helpful that they even called a taxi service for us to arrange transportation to the train station when we left because our Italian wasn\'t good enough to tell them what we needed! The location of this apartment is likely second to none. Right near the Pantheon and several Piazzas. Great restaurants and bars, all family friendly (though mine are young adults anyway). Busy time of year but the apartment was an airy retreat. You can hear the sounds of the historic city and restaurants nearby when the shutters are open but not so much when closed. Notice I didn\'t say \'noise\' because the sounds from the Piazza below were the sounds of people having fun and never went on too late. On two nights there were impromptu Opera renditions from guests in the restaurants below and on others \'buskers\' renditioning the very finest Ave Maria and Nessun Dorma I have ever heard! Apartment was clean and well equipped and very atmospheric. It felt like you were part of historic Rome. Nissar was superbly nice and helpful and everything we arranged through Rome Loft ran to schedule and as booked. Thanks for a fantastic 5 days!

The service and support from everyone involved in the our trip was really great. The guys helped book transfers and were there to handover the keys and show us around. The apartment is is a brilliant location and so convenient. We were right in the centre of Rome but yet the apartment was private and not at all noisy. Our family of 5 fitted in nicely in the apartment and the apartment was well supplied with everything we needed. The only suggestion would be that the apartment needs a little renovation (painting and odd jobs) Thank you for a wonderful trip to Rome

The location is good. Suggestions:- - A few instructions on how to use things would help - there are lots of instruction for the recycling, but nothing on where to deposit. - get rid of the coffee machine - it does not take standard pods - they are not sold in the local supermarket, and once they were supplied the coffee machine did not work. The stove top thing was fine - the machine, getting the pods and then not working was just frustrating. - Is there a good reason for the password being 24 characters long, and a mixture of upper, lower case and numbers? Very frustrating. - Internet only works in the bedroom for some reason - there are lights without globes and lamps that do not reach a power point, have no extension. - most people take units to enable washing - a washing machine would be better value than a bidet which no tourists use - the white couches are very dirty

After long days of enjoying the living museum which is Rome we would return to our sanctuary for an apoerole spritz on one of the two rooftop gardens looking out over the city. Our 8 year old daughter loved it and felt as at home as we did. Thank you for creating such a beautiful apartment with so much love and care. Josie, Ginger and Matt Sydney, Australia

Mrs. Sara stayed at Bramante elegant penthouse Up to 2+4 people
My husband and I met here at the apartment in Roma, after I had already been traveling solo for over 2 months. I\'m pretty familiar with Roma and chose this apartment for both it\'s location as well as the pictures of it from your Website, and I had rented from RomeLoft before for a 5 week stay in Roma, and found the experience of renting thru them to be very efficient and professional. I travel, mostly alone, for up to 3-4 months of the year, internationally, and then my husband will usually join me for up to 10 days of my stay ( wherever I am). I am very used to renting very nice apartments for up to 5 weeks at a time, so have rented A LOT of Holiday Apartments, all over Europe, and elsewhere. As a result, I am also very specific in my requirements for Holiday Rentals. There have been a few apartments that did not live up to their description and/or were not well maintained/ managed. THIS apartment was pretty GREAT. There were a few small issues, but overall, this apartment was a very much \" Net Positive \". The location, the square footage, the comfort of furniture as well as beds, and the over all cleanliness ( this is always a HUGE factor for me), and this apartment really had almost everything. There are a few things that didn\'t live up to the over all standards of the apartment: The Upstairs Blue Bathroom : the shower and shower curtain were very moldy and need to be much better cleaned, and a new curtain should be hung. The one there is, gross ( really, it was disgusting, and I am always very specific about not finding mold/mildew in kitchen and baths, when ever I rent an apartment). The Kitchen is smaller than it appears, but pretty functional, although it could use a bit more work/ counter space ( when in Roma, it\'s nice to be able to prep and cook fresh meals). However, there wasn\'t even a can opener, toaster or microwave, and were I not such an experienced luxury holiday apartment renter, I wouldn\'t have had the following ( but for the fact that I travel with my own: can opener, kitchen towel, paper towels, new clean sponge ( the one I saw that was under the kitchen sink was disgusting, so I am glad I always travel with one, just in case), garbage bags, and Saran Wrap /foil. The Bed in the Master, was extremely comfortable, the pillows, not so much, but I also travel with my own washable pillow ( \" My Pillow \" : Lavender seamed brand). I travel with a large assortment of adapters for various electrical cords ( laptop, iPad mini, I phone, kindle) + extra cords...and would have been in a bit of trouble if I didn\'t, as I saw that there were none in the apt, that I could see. There are no English TV Stations, Not even any of the International News Stations like CNN or Sky. In fact, there are very limited TV options to watch, but hey, I did get to watch a 1940\'s Classic: Rita Hayworth and Glen Ford in \" GILDA \" in Italian, and that was a treat There were, however, 2 very nice quality and full sized umbrellas to use ( it never rained while I was in Rome this trip, but it was early July, and was unusually HOT ). Despite having a sun hat, I carried one of the umbrellas, all the time, to give some relief from the sun, during the long, hot days of summer. The Air Conditioning was by room units with remotes, and they all worked blissfully well. There was both plenty of light when the shutters were open on the windows, and good privacy when they were closed, as you can really look into other apartments with these old buildings being so close to one another. The Apartment is very spacious--- really quite big and very comfortable, with minimal street noise at night, even though it\'s in an excellent location with lots of Pedestrian traffic every where around it. Also, quite near to great shopping/ antiquing and a huge range of dining options, from fine to casual. The check in was very easy and pleasant. Nassir ( property manager) and Alan ( apartment cleaner ) were great, and the driver that I contracted with via the RomeLoft company, HONEY, was beyond great. He was very friendly, courteous, professional, informative and helpful...really, I cannot say good enough things about Honey, he welcomed me to Rome, and then saw me off on a very early morning, and was just a Prince of a Man. So this is already pretty long, and I will sum up that the Aparment was an excellent choice and very enjoyable, and would highly recommend it as a rental option for Roma, particularly if you are like us, and would rather walk everywhere in town and not have to rely on taxis/ mass transit.

Very clean and comfortable apartment. More than enough room for the two of us. Large fully equipped kitchen. Shower had very good pressure. Only step from Trevi Fountain and more than eight gelato locations. The stairs were a minor issue due to a recent leg injury but we survived. We knew in advance that there is no lift/elevator so that was no surprise. Would definitely stay here again.

This apartments is in an awesome location, only a few hundred steps to Trevi Fountain and at least 8 gelato locations. Plenty of room in the apartment for the 5 of us. Clean, comfortable,,, quiet. Some people might have an issue that there is no lift/elevator but that is what you get in the historic district in old buildings. We had no issue with the stairs. Definitely would stay here again.

Mr. David stayed at Vicolo del Cinque terrace apartment Up to 5+2 people
The apartment was well located exactly where we thought it would be. It was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We do have some suggestions for improving the apartment: We thought the apartment could be greatly improved by installing a shower. The downstairs bathtub has no holder for the spray nozzle, and there is no shower curtain. (It is not possible to use the upstairs bathtub as a shower without kneeling on the floor.) Also, it would have greatly helped us to have written instructions about the thermostat on the wall, which actually controls the water heater. We accidentally turned off the hot water, because we thought the thermostat was for the apartment heating system. Lastly, we would recommend soundproofing the window nearest the bed upstairs in the common area. We thought that all the downstairs windows did a very good job keeping out street noise, but the window upstairs by the bed was quite noisy. These are all the issues that we could think of with the apartment. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Charming Penthouse Apartment in Trastevere. We booked car transfers and our drivers were waiting for us both ways. We were met at our apartment by Nissar who showed us around. The apartment is just as pictured, very stylish, modern but also full of character. We loved the lovely private sun terrace and the peacefulness of the street despite being very central. Be aware of the stairs leading up to the apartment (about 65) not a problem for us but I suppose could be difficult for some. The apartment is ideally located, just a short walk into beautiful Trastevere for bars, restaurants and shops. The Vatican is also very close (10 minute walk ) and we walked to all the main sites quite comfortably. We would love to return to this apartment one day and would definitely book with Romelofts again. Thank you.

Our RomeLoft apartment was central to St Peter\'s in a great area where the best food and wine were literally around the corner. The apartment was well appointed and the two terraces were perfect for a relaxing drink and chat after a day of sight-seeing. We had an excellent view of the fireworks on Sts Peter and Paul\'s Day. We were in a quiet street but a short stroll from all the action and sights of Rome. The staff were helpful and maintained an excellent level of contact in the lead up to our stay. we would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay in the Navona Terrace apartment. It was in a great location, just moments from Campo de Fiori and Piazza Navona, and definitely walking distance (20-30 minutes) to Trastevere, Vatican and Spanish Steps. For those uncomfortable with stairs, it is not ideal, as one must climb 4-5 short flights to get to the apartment, but it didn\'t bother us. The apartment is tastefully and simply decorated and is very comfortable, with a charming terrace. We are a family of five and had plenty of space. The square below is lush and has a couple of nice trattorias and a pizza café, which we enjoyed. We were not aware of any noise from the restaurants at night. RomeLoft provided welcome support through a transfer from the airport, help with a lost key, and we also booked our tours with them, which were fantastic!

My sister and I stayed in your loft to celebrate her birthday for the weekend. It was fantastic! The terrace was a highlight and the views were even better than what you can see on line. Having wine & cheese on the terrace watching the sunset was a 3 hour event everyday before heading out to dinner. Memories we will cherish. My only note on how to improve the rental: - the kitchen sink easily got stopped up with water. Nissar who met us with the keys was such a lovely welcoming host. After showing us around the loft, he immediately set up our car pick up for the return to the airport, which was a huge gift, since we had very early pick ups at 4:30am and 7:00am that Monday. We could truly enjoy our weekend not worrying about HOW we would find a cab so early. \"Hani\" (spelling?) our driver for the pick up was lovely, professional and accommodating. The entire experience was beautiful, and we will highly recommend your loft and company to friends who are traveling to Rome. Thank you! Libby

We are very happy to have rented Gea´s apartment. She is so nice and helpfull and so easy to deal with. The place is beautifully furnished, one feels at home. The location is really excelent! It´s the best part of Rome for me. The supermarket was only meters away and you had the fresh market in Campo di Fiori and plenty of places to eat or have a coffee. The only problem are the steps to arrive to the last floor, they are long and steep. I would´t recomend it to older people.

Up just one flight of stairs and only a few steps from Campo dei Fiori , my favourite part of Rome. Apt is large, spacious and generally has most things that you would need. Kitchen need a couple of sets of tongs ( trivial thing) because it\'s so close to everything it can be a bit noisy at times, especially nights, but not excessive . As I say \'if you want to be near the train station you will hear the trains\' It\'s the second time I\'ve booked with Rome Lofts and would be happy to do it again.

Mr. Richard stayed at Navona terrace apartment Up to 5 people
Our group consisted of three adult males (dad (87 years old) and two sons). This apartment is a perfect Rome apartment. Plenty of room and was very comfortable, clean and secure. It is situated off a Piazza that has plenty of large green trees shading it which is like an oasis in a desert when it comes to Rome. It was great to be able to look out of the window and down onto the trees below. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size and functional - The main bedroom was exceptional. The kitchen has everything you need but not much bench space. We ate at local restaurants for almost every meal except breakfast so the kitchen size wasn\'t a massive issue. We ate breakfast out on the large terrace and watched the Swallows fly around. There are a few stairs (about 50) to get up and into the apartment and there is no lift so if you struggle with stairs then give that some thought. We were a bit worried about the stairs as we went up them for the first time but once you get to the apartment you forget about them. It is close to lots of the major sights and there are plenty of great cafes/restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets, chemists/pharmacies and the local market in Campo Dei Fiori to get fresh fruit and vegetables. The Wi - fi worked really well. This was important as we had a business to run back in Australia. We even managed to watch a few Australian Rules football matches via the internet and the quality was great. The communication by the staff was exceptional. They were always friendly, helpful and responded quickly to emails. The only downside to the apartment is that some of the doorway heights are low so you just have to watch your head. This was the ONLY issue we had with the place but you learn quickly enough to bend down a little. I would happily stay at this apartment again. The bed configuration was a queen size bed in the main bedroom and two singles in another room. There is another single on a mezzanine level but we didn\'t need to access/use that.

The loft was exactly as advertised! Beautiful experience for our family with grown children. Close to great restaurants and the shopping was reasonably priced-so much to do in the area. There was easy access to transportation- be prepared to walk -lots! The stairs for the loft are steep-but it was expected and worth the beautiful loft! Lorenzo was very helpful.

Mrs. Lynne stayed at Vicolo del Cinque terrace apartment Up to 5+2 people
The location is excellent for exploring Rome. The street it\'s in has many restaurants if good quality and value there is noise but that adds to the atmosphere. The air conditioning is not very effective but the beds are comfortable the outdoor area is nice. We had a lovely time. Bus H which takes you to Termini is a short 7 min walk away with a smooth pavement for wheeling suitcases. Cost €1,50 - S.I.T bus to airport is €9 return. If you use a taxi make sure they use the meter - don\'t get in until this has been agreed upon. Taxi to apartment was €20 with four adults and four cases. Hope this helps, I would definitely use this company again.

We have enjoyed very much the apartment and like it very much . The only remarks : the lack of air conditioning in the bad room and the air conditioning in the living room did not work . it is also recommended to put more toilet paper , garbage bags and bigger soaps .

I visited Rome with a friend for a short break and Romeloft - from the pick-up at the airport, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the delightful rooftop apartment, to the drive back to the airport - just made it the perfect trip! Nisar met us at the apartment and carried our heavy bag right to the top of the building - for which we are very sorry. But he was just lovely and so helpful. Thank you Nisar! The apartment is located right in the midst of busy Trastevere - so teaming with life, but you\'d never know it when you are up in the loft - it was peaceful and had fabulous views across Rome from the two-tiered terrace. We loved the décor, the layout and the quirkiness of the apartment; it is full of character and we\'d definitely stay there again. We had just the best time. Thank you Romloft.

Mr. Mark stayed at Spanish Steps homely loft Up to 2+1 people
We were met at the apartment by Matteo who showed us around and gave us a very needed glass of water each. (The day we arrived coincided with a rail strike so the metro was not operating and we had to walk from the terminus). He then showed us a map of Rome with recommended places of interest marked on it. This is left on the table for visitors to refer to during their stay. He gave us recomnendations of where to eat the best spaghetti, where to get the best tiramisu and ice cream and who served the best coffee. We found these to be very useful, all the places he told us about turned out to be excellent. The apartment had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. The large spacious lounge has a queen sized bed and a long sofa. It is very comfortable and airy. There are two large windows that open onto the interesting street and although this can be noisy, the noise is almost completely shut out when the windows are closed. There is air conditioning. There is a kitchen and a bathroom and a hallway with a huge wardrobe to store clothes, cases, shoes etc. It is a short walk from the metro stop Barberini, situated between the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain. There are a lot of leather handbag shops near by so prepare to be tempted. Up towards the spanish steps there are some designer shops like Gucci where you can window shop at night and laugh at the exorbitant prices! There are many pasta restaurants close by and if you want to self cater there is a supermarket in the road opposite. Matteo kept in touch by text and on Sunday morning he told us about a local flea market and how to get there by bus. We did go and found it to be huge, selling everything you could think of, very reasonably. We found the whole experience of staying in this Rome Loft a pleasure. We would love to return to Rome and we would definitely try to stay in this apartment again. Well done to Rome Lofts and especially to Matteo who was so polite and helpful throughout our stay.

Mrs. Katherine stayed at Trevi house apartment Up to 6+2 people
Apartment was in a great location and within a 30 second walk to the Trevi Fountain. We had 8 people stay - would have been perfect for 6. Just a bit small for the 8 of us. When we arrived, there had been a water leak so there were builders and plumbers and dust everywhere. However, the Romeloft representative dealt with it very quickly so we were able to still enjoy our stay at the apartment. Would recommend to others.

Mrs. Joanne stayed at Banchi Vecchi apartment Up to 3 people
The apartment was in a great location; kitchen was well supplied; directions re: garbage, wifi, etc were good. The large bed was comfortable. However the bed mattress in the loft needs replacement - the springs in it were uncomfortable. Lots of closet space. The shower curtain was a challenge as water spilled onto the bathroom floor. The restaurant downstairs was a bit noisy in the evening, but not enough to bother when sleeping. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Mrs. Pascale stayed at Campo de Fiori cozy apartment Up to 3+2 people
Appartement de qualité, hormis quelques détails à revoir (prise électrique dans la salle de douche et sèche cheveux défectueux) idéalement situé dans le quartier Campo di Fiori. Petit parc au pied des appartements - environnement calme et pourtant proche du centre historique

Mr. Mastanopoulos stayed at Pantheon house apartment Up to 6 people
Excellent Choice for our first time in Rome. The apartment was more than spacious for our needs and also central in order to explore Rome\'s attractions by foot. It fits perfectly for large groups of friends or families as it has 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms but also a large living/dining room. Its located just 2 minutes walking distance from Pantheon and 5 minutes from Piazza Navona. We were allowed a late checkout free of charge and we\'ll definitely book the same place on our next visit.

Our return visit to this Quirky little apartment, which we love- especially for the location and rooftop terrace. disappointed that there was just one broken sun lounger-I had to get all the garden seat cushions out myself and clean them off. think you need proper loungers to make the most of that amazing terrace. Also there were no dessert spoons!, only 2 tea spoons. Otherwise it\'s perfect.

Mr. Philip stayed at Sant’Onofrio terrace apartment Up to 2+2 people
The terraces offer stunning views over the clay roof tops of the centre of Rome. The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed - with the possible exception of sun loungers on the top terrace. At night we slept well as the area is not too busy and the bedroom is around the back. we walked everywhere - but the bus routes are very close too.

Mr. James stayed at Farnese stunning penthouse Up to 2 people
The Farnese Penthouse has an excellent location with an excellent view from the terrace. Wi-Fi worked very well. When we called about a problem with the front door lock (locking mechanism jammed and key was stuck in door) a person was there within 15 minutes to work on a solution. It is unfortunate that due to low water pressure the use of the upstairs bathroom is limited. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Mrs. Irina stayed at Croce Colourful Terrace Penthouse Up to 7 people
Our arrival and departure were very well organised. The apartment was spacious but cosy, clean and perfectly located, the view from the terrace - stunning. All the outside space and the table football were very much appreciated. The only problem we had was the occassional lack of hot water. The stairs are good for keeping you fit. Would recommend your agency for the efficiency and quality to anyone. Thank you.
