If you're choosing where to stay in Rome, whether you're a couple, or a family, this is the place to be. The décor within the whole apartment is so stylish. The attention to detail in each room has been carefully thought out and is a credit to the owner. A great utility kitchen with everything you need, as well as a Nespresso machine for a good cup of coffee in the morning. We had the bedroom at the top of the apartment next to the rooftop terrace and it was a dream. This room also comes with an en-suite bathroom so you don’t have to go up and down the stairs to use the loo! There are 3 bathrooms in total so if there are 3 couples, you all get your own bathroom. This is a real treat! There are so many wonderful spaces in this apartment, it’s difficult to pick my favourite, but I guess it would have to be the rooftop terrace, which is just gorgeous and perfect for all times of day or night. It’s peaceful and the views over one side are far and wide. I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment as the place to stay in Rome. It’s 10 minutes from the Vatican and 10 minutes from the AMAZING Trastevere. We walked everywhere and nowhere seemed too far away. I would recommend booking a taxi to the airport in advance as there aren’t a lot of taxis that come down to the road level the apartment is on, which is another of it’s charms. The location is great, quiet but only a short walk from the buzzing parts of Trastevere. The roof terrace was a great bonus, even though we had a few rainy mornings. Simply the best city apartment we have rented to date. Smart, clean, well equipped, comfortable, quiet, roomy, loads of natural light, great roof terrace, safe and central enough to have all of Rome at a walking distance. What more can I say?! It's on the third floor and roof of the building, with only stairs up to the front door, so if you do...Read Moren't like stairs, then don't book. Otherwise, this is a fantastic apartment for 2 to 6 people. We went with our daughter (17) and she took the en-suite double room on the roof, while we took the master double on the main third floor. If we had brought our son, he could have had another double next to ours (with its own Juliet balcony) and we could either have shared the bathroom there or he could have used the one on the mezzanine above the kitchen. A little quirky setup then maybe but we loved it and it didn't matter because it was just the three of us anyway. Book it!

Be aware of the stairs leading up to the apartment (about 65) not a problem for us but I suppose could be difficult for some. The apartment is ideally located, just a short walk into beautiful Trastevere for bars, restaurants and shops. The Vatican is also very close (10 minute walk ) and we walked to all the main sites quite comfortably. We would love to return to this apartment one day and would definitely book with Romelofts again. Thank you.

The location was fantastic...Read More - on a quiet backstreet but close to everything. The only thing that would have improved it would have been a dvd player. We have 3 children 8,10 and 12 and they enjoy watching a dvd in the evenings after dinner - so we used our laptop, while the fantastic large screen tv was in the living room but was no use to us as it only had Italian tv and no dvd facility. For most people this wouldn't be an issue - but we find, everywhere we go, the same thing. Great big tvs which only have local tv stations and no dvd facility. But this was only a small thing which could easily be remedied. Everything else in the flat was faultless!!!! We loved it! A bit of feedback for Rome Loft staff though - there was a 3 day cab strike when we were in Rome (which we didn't know about) and when I rang up to book a cab with Rome Lofts to take us to the Airport on our final day, I was told it was too late to book a taxi with Rome Lofts but that I could ring a local cab company 15 minutes before I wanted to travel and I would be fine. This was an appalling piece of advice. We tried to book a taxi two hours before we needed to leave and it was at this point we found out there were no cabs. We then had to take 3 trams and a train during rush hour - with 3 children and luggage - it was stressful but we made it in the end. Rome Lofts staff, if they had informed us in the morning when we spoke to them to book a cab could have told us about the strike and we would allowed far more time to get to the airport and it would have been a lot less stressful. Information is everything!

The house was absolutely beautiful, fun decor and a fantastic location, we could walk to most of the attractions we saw. The apartment was large and comfortable for our whole family. The bathrooms are modern and very clean and the bedrooms were charming. The most thing we enjoyed was the terrace! The apartment is located on a quiet street in the center of Trastevere. The apartment was elegant and spacious and I loved how accessible everything was by foot. I particularly enjoyed being in an apartment that had modern facilities but that did not lose it's authentic italian charm. I already can't wait to be back!

You are in Trastevere areas, one of the most ancient and fashinating areas of Rome, there are cultural attractions, restaurant and beautiful square and street. Opposite the road there are the Tevere, the river that runs throught the city. Crossed by walking Ponte Sisto to built by Pope Sisto IV between 1473 and 1479, on the ruins of a more ancient Roman brige between the current Trilussa square and Pettinari road near the beautiful Giulia road, Farnese square and Campo de Fiori square, the most importante zone for roman people, unmissable walking! We loved the area which lots of bars,and cafes, full of character and charm. The house has a lot of windows that make it bright, the living room is very wellcoming, the rooms nice decoration and the beds confortable, the bathroom modern and well furnishings. You can't to lose this house! The transfer to and from the airport was very efficient. We appreciated the street map and bus map which you left for us.
