You will find this beautiful Trastevere terrace apartment on Vicolo del Cinque. The apartment finds itself on the first floor of a grand historical building. It features elegant interior design and carefully-chosen pieces of furniture. It truly creates a charming atmosphere for your perfect Roman holiday.
When you arrive at the apartment you enter directly into a colorful courtyard. Fragrant flowers and vines fill this area, whose style echoes that of the Trastevere neighbourhood.
Warm colors pervade the charming living room. It is divided into two areas, creating a sense of space and light. The first area has a large wood dining table with 8 chairs, a flat screen 32″ TV, a DVD player, and a coffee table. You can also relax on the two plush armchairs and the sofa. You can also unfold the latter into a double bed. This room is ideal for relaxing and chatting with friends after a long day exploring the city. Alternatively, simply enjoy a home cooked meal all together.
The second area features high wooden ceilings and two day beds, with low coffee tables located next to the fireplace. Guests can also benefit from the centralized air-conditioning system, particularly during the hot summer months. Furthermore, from this cozy and romantic corner you can access a small private terrace.
Beautiful Chinese sliding doors separate this living room from the kitchen area. The kitchen is well equipped with a modern gas stove, an oven, a fridge and a freezer. You will also find all the kitchenware and crockery you need to prepare delicious meals. We recommend the incredibly fresh fruit and vegetables that you can find at the many local markets in this area.
On this floor there is also a comfortable bedroom with a single extra wide poster bed and a wooden chest. A lovely bathroom and bathtub accompany this.
On the upper level you’ll find the rest of the sleeping quarters, with 2 further bedrooms. The first open bedroom has a king-size-bed, with an attic ceiling, books, a desk with a chair, and an en-suite bathroom with a gorgeous bathtub. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed, an attic ceiling, lamps, shelves with books and a red Chinese abat-jour.
We highly recommend this fantastic apartment as the ideal base for a large family or a group of friends who are looking to explore Rome together.
This apartment lies in one of Rome’s most characteristic districts. It consists of a maze of tiny cobbled streets, stuffed with charming bars and restaurants and piazzas. For example, the property is just a few minutes walk from the Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere. Here you can perch on a step with a gelato in hand as you watch a stream of people wander through the area. In the evenings this area is particularly nice, as it has so many aperitivo and wine bars, perfect for sipping a drink whilst chatting the hours away.

A great location for night time as lots of places to eati and drinki with lots going on and it's within a 30 minute walk from most of the famous sights.Thiugh a taxi rank is 2 minutes away if you're feeling lazy. We arranged an airport taxi through the agency which was very efflcient and reliable so we'd definitely recommend. The apartment is touch/sight clean but I feel it needs a bit of a deep clean but bedding and towels were pristine. My only gripe was being given only 1 set of keys for a family of six persons. Another set or two would have been handy. My advice would be to look around for eating places as prices vary vastly. There's a fabulous deli 5 minutes away which opens early morning, it serves a great selection of croissants and coffees, because if you're an early riser there's not much open in the morning in Travestere.

The apartment was well located exactly where we thought it would be. It was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Also, it would have greatly helped us to have written instructions about the thermostat on the wall, which actually controls the water heater. We accidentally turned off the hot water, because we thought the thermostat was for the apartment heating system. Lastly, we would recommend soundproofing the window nearest the bed upstairs in the common area. We thought that all the downstairs windows did a very good job keeping out street noise, but the window upstairs by the bed was quite noisy. These are all the issues that we could think of with the apartment. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Outstanding rental, well appointed.. Wonderful responsive staff; Asel made many arrangements for us. A surprise for our anniversary celebration. Thank you.
The location is excellent for exploring Rome. The street it's in has many restaurants if good quality and value there is noise but that adds to the atmosphere. Great appartment adjacent to two restaurants with evening noise from people enjoying life. Perfect location for historic Rome. Lovely decorated. Our family of 5 persons recently visited Rome using RomeLoft Appartments. It was an excellent stay with a spacious appartment with a perfect location placed in Trastevere. «Perfect location in vibrant Trastevere»
Perfect location, appartment fantastic. Very comfortable stay.
«Beautiful appartement and excellent location.»
Loved the appartement and the location. A bit of noise some evenings, but still ok. A lot of internet issues, but this got solved eventually. Positive communication with Romeloft throughout. Thank you!
«Unique apartment in great location»
Nice apartment in the heart of the night district, Trastevere. The area looks run-down by daytime but comes alive at night. We really enjoyed our time here and loved the freedom of the apartment. The only downside was the poor showers in the bathrooms, otherwise comfortable and private. The arrival and departure staff were prompt and courteous.
Myself and my 4 friends had a great stay here in Trastavere to celebrate my birthday. The location is a real plus, within reach of many restaurants and bars and only a few minutes' walk from Ponte Sisto; also within walking distance of Vatican City & St. Peter's basilica (approx. 20 minutes), and other major sights such as Il Vittoria...Read Moreno and the Colosseum. The apartment was very clean. The only downside was, it was advertised as having three double bedrooms. However one of the bedrooms was a single, meaning two friends had to sleep in the living room sofa bed. It was a minor issue, however the staff seemed un-phased by the false advertising. This did not detract from the comfort, space, cleanliness or quality of the apartment. Also worth noting are the steep stairs to the first floor of the apartment block. This is ok if you are fit and don't mind carrying your suitcase up though it is a bit awkward. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this place to friends, and would gladly stay here again.
«Beautiful appartement on a great spot»
An appartement in Roman style. But facilities were below expectations. Dishwasher broken, lights not all working properly, closets not opening. Difficulties with warm water facilities
«Great place to rent out for a bigger group»
Communication with RomeLoft was great. They answered all of our questions swiftly. Vicolo del Cinque is amidst a lot of restaurants and cafes. It might get loud in the evening/at night. Regardless, we enjoyed our time there. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. Would recommend it to other ppl.

Communication was outstanding and the transfer and introduction to the apartment were also very good. The location was excellent. The facilities were satisfactory. «The loft was comfortable, elegant, and fabulous»
Lorenzo was a fantastic host, very patient, even when we had some logistical difficulty meeting up with him at the scheduled time. The apartment is truly unique. The home was VERY quiet (and air conditioned), so one could enjoy all the nightlife and yet still retreat to peace and quiet when needed. The neighborhood is absolutely fabulous! Within a 30 minute walk to major sites (St. Peter's, The Colosseum), and even closer to many others. There are tons of restaurants, shops and bars right outside your door, and the streets are very narrow and largely pedestrian. We couldn't have chosen a better location. Plus there was a taxi stand in a plaza just steps away. The home is probably best suited to younger guests, given the uniqueness of the design -- there are steps all over, not too many, but in unexpected places, which could throw off older guests-- but we LOVED it. If you want a truly unique living experience in one of the liveliest neighborhoods in Rome, this is the place for you.

We just loved this place. It gave us a real sense of what it's like to live in Rome in someone's very lovely home. We (me, my husband and 16-year-old daughter) stayed over a long holiday weekend so the place was in party mode. Exciting to be around but quite noisy as the place came alive at night. We did the Taste of Trastevere food tour and that gave us a really good feel for the best places and what to eat (a highlight: we got to sample wine and enjoy Slow Food in a cellar built in BC times) - very worthwhile.
