The Location

Located in the elegant Spagna district, this apartment has an extremely central location. From here you can easily walk to the Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, and the Villa Borghese Park. The latter especially is a beautiful place to relax under the shade of the trees. It also features the Pincio Terrace, from which you will have a stunning view over the Colonna and Prati areas of Rome.

Moreover, the Spagna area lies on the Metro A route, giving you direct access to the central station, Termini and the Vatican City. Moreover, a change here to the Metro B line will take you right to the foot of the Colosseum.

Just behind the Colosseum you will also find the Giardino degli Aranci.  This became famous after featuring in the 2013 Sorrentino feature La Grande Bellezza. It is an enchanting space with shaded benches and tall orange trees. It also has a sweeping view over Rome and the Tiber. Just down the road from here you can find the famous keyhole, which frames the cupola of St Peter’s Basilica perfectly!

Taking a walk or metro into the Prati area (towards the Vatican), you will also find some great lunch places. This area has many great cafés and pasta, pizza and salad take-outs, as it is a slightly more residential area, tailored to Romans rather than tourists.

In the evenings, you will find many refined restaurants and bars in the Spagna area. Moreover, a short walk will take you into the Navona/Regola district, which has even more variety of eateries, bars, and aperitivi.

«Excellent experience »

The staff at RomeLoft were amazing, they responded to every email right away and went out of their way to help me out. The car service to and fro the airport was wonderful worth a few extra euros. The apartment is beautiful and the bed very comfortable. We did not use the kitchen but it is very nice. The artwork is stunning. The apartment is quitRead Moree even though it is in a busy neighborhood.. lots of good restaurants to choose from. For us the third floor walk up was a lot ( my husband had a bad knee) three floors are actually six sets of stairs. But I totally recommend this company.

«Perfect location, great value for money»

The accommodation is located close to the shops, restaurants and Metro, with major attractions easily accessible. Staff are very friendly and always willing to assist. Would respond to queries by email and WhatsApp promptly. Don’t let the lack of an elevator put you off as the exercise will be welcome after great Italian food and drink. Would nRead Moreot hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

«Very good experience»

Over all, very good. Very responsive staff. However, very rapid check-in which did not allow a thorough visit of flat and explanation of different installations, such as gas in kitchen and TV. We were also overcharged for the city tax. Otherwise, great location of flat and good facilities.

«Very well located, perfect to discover Rome!»

The apartment is very well located and the contact with the staff of RomeLoft was very easy. They organized a car to pick me up at the airport and also have provided my breakfast, a true quality service. The payment was easy and clear. Somethings they can do better: I was waiting for a couple bed, unfortunately in that apartment they have 2 singleRead Mores beds together. The apartment had only one glass of wine, very shame for a "wine country" like Italy. The window in the living room can not be opened because the air conditioning, a shame. The apartment has 5 more windows that can be opened to air. I will do not hesitated to contact Rome Loft again to rent other apartment my next time in Rome. See you soon friends! Best regards, Vinicius from Paris

«Location was great»

We enjoyed our stay in Rome and the location of the apartment was great. Kitchen was small but updated. AC did not work well and carpet in living room could use replacing. Great place for a short stay.

The location of this apartment was wonderful! The beds were comfortable, although the 80 steps up to them was a little tough sometimes. We were disappointed that we specifically asked about a microwave and were told there was one. When I reported that there wasn't, Rome Loft insisted that the last guests must have stolen it! Hmm. The bathroomRead More smelled very bad (which I've read is quite common?), there was only one trash can in the whole place and a kitchen with no dishtowels and barely any dishes. The ceiling was paper-thin - bring earplugs. Not a luxury apartment for sure, but did I mention it's in a great location? P.S. Hire the driver to/from the airport and train. He was awesome!

«Hi My husband and I stayed at this apartment for 5 nights. On the first night, ... »

Hi My husband and I stayed at this apartment for 5 nights. On the first night, we arrived very late as we had taken the bus from the airport and the traffic was bad. It did not help that the bus left the airport 30 minutes later than its scheduled time and the traffic came to a standstill after our bus exited the motorway. It was only later (whileRead More on the bus during the traffic standstill)that my husband and I found out that everyone was waiting for the Pope. For us, when we found out that we could see the Pope, we were super excited. Unfortunately for Romeloft's keyholder, who was waiting for us at/near the apartment, his patience was running thin by the minute. When we finally arrived after more than an hour's delay, we met Romeloft's keyholder and it was blatant that he was rather annoyed with us. We apologised to him profusely (even though the delay was not our fault)as we know how infuritating it would be to have to wait for more than an hour. Our vacation in Rome could have started much better had we taken a cab or asked for the car service transfer that Romeloft offers. As for the apartment, my husband and I agreed that it was very lovely and cozy. What you see in pictures is what you will get (cactus included). The apartment was clean when we arrived. The location is AMAZING with restuarants and cafes nearby! There were a few minor issues such as the TV remote was not working, an unexpected visitor during lunch time who alleges that he was from Romeloft and wanted to enter the apartment to take a picture of the TV remote and the iffy Wi-Fi that has signal in the bedroom and at times in the sitting area. We did not mind these and so, all in all a wonderful stay. We will definitely return to Romeloft in the future should we visit Rome again! Warm regards, Poh Lin
